We decided to give the post questionnaire to 15 people to fill out. There were a fair amount of males and females, the respondents consisted of 6 males and 6 females.

2. What age category do you fit into?

15 - 18 19 - 25 26 - 35 36 - 55 56+

The data shows that out of the 12 people surveyed, the majority of them were 15 18 years old. There were no respondents over the age of 55.

3. What would you rate our film Behind Closed Doors out of ten?

The data shows that the majority of the respondents gave the film a rating of 8 out of 10. This means that they enjoyed our final product however there are some weaknesses and room for improvement.

4. Was the genre of our film clear from the start?

All 12 respondents stated that the genre of the film was clear from the start; this gave us an indication that we followed the codes and conventions of drama films well.

5. If yes, could you state how it was clear? This response for this question was qualitative, the majority of respondents stated that the music and storyline made it clear that the short film was a drama. Other responses varied from the acting and setting. 6. If no, could you state how it was not clear? All respondents stated that the genre of the film was clear from the start, therefore there are no responses for this question. This indicated to me, as director, that I achieved what I set out to do, which was to make the acting and storyline give off the impression that the film is a drama. 7. What was the strongest element of our short film?

The data from the pie chart revealed that the respondents believed that our strongest component of our short film was the storyline; the next strongest element was the editing.

8. What was the weakest element of our short film? From the data we can see that the respondents believed that the weakest element of the film was visual effects. This gives us an idea on what we could improve; by working more on the visual effects the production would be stronger and more professional.
