Working as a Junior Research Fellow at Space Applications Center, Indian Space Research Organization
(ISRO), September 2006 – Present

Project: GPS Aided GEO Augmented Navigation (GAGAN)

Description: A joint project between airports authority of India (AAI) and ISRO. The project aims at the
development of a satellite based navigation system (SBAS) for precise landing of aircrafts. The system is
based on Global Positioning System (GPS).

My Involvement:
• Technical details and Applications of Global Positioning System (GPS).
• Developed software in MATLAB for estimation of precise user position using GPS code
observables.
• Involved in the study of retrieval of sky brightness temperature and profile using ray tomography
that is useful in determining the extent of radiowave signal attenuation due to redistribution of
energy.
• Involved in research on the scope of using EHF Band signals for space-earth communications.
