introduction
A greenhouse is a structure with a glass or plastic roof and
frequently glass or plastic walls. It is used to grow plants which
need special conditions. They are delicate and can’t withstand the
atmospheric conditions found in open air. Also plants can be
germinated into seedlings in greenhouses and then can be
transplanted into open air conditions or sold. Greenhouses can turn
inarable land into arable land. By doing so, crops can be grown in
harsh conditions where ordinarily it wouldn’t survive such as the
cold Artic or the hot Rajasthan deserts. This can help feed starving
nations where crops can't survive in the harsh conditions.

But, the closed environment of a greenhouse has its own unique

requirements, compared with outdoor production. Extremes of heat
and humidity have to be controlled. Provision for irrigation is
necessary to provide water. Special light conditions must be also
maintained in the green house. Thus there is a tedious process
involved in which each condition must be taken into consideration
and maintained at the desirable level.
To control this process, the automated irrigation control module
can be used. It is a circuit which makes the entire process
automatic. This makes the process of irrigation control, light
supply control and temperature and humidity control automatic,
thus reducing man labor and removing human error from the
picture.

Automated Remote Irrigation System is an advanced and

innovative system for the automatic monitoring and controlling of
the irrigation, light control and temperature and humidity
processes in green houses. Conventionally, parameters which
affect the plants such as soil moisture i.e. water, light intensity,
temperature of the pumping device all have to be monitored
manually to produce optimum crops, may it be food grains, fruits
or vegetables. This process is time consuming and requires man
power to study and control these physical parameters.

Here Automated Remote Irrigation System is an innovative and

simple method, which is designed to measure and control the
above said parameters automatically and efficiently. This reduces
the manual attention and intervention. Along with reduction of
man power usage, the module helps in the efficient usage of
resources with little or no wastage.

Future aspects
Water supply is becoming so critical in maintaining the health of a
landscape and how quickly it begins to florish. In landscaping
projects in and around bundaberg we have used a number of
efficient methods to effectively deliver water to a landscape
project. This reduces the manual attention and intervention Along
with reduction of man power usage, the module helps in the
efficient usage of resources with little or no wastage. The Project
presented here waters your plants regularly when you are out for
vocation.
This is an advanced and innovative system for the automatic
monitoring and controlling of the irrigation, light control and
temperature and humidity processes in green houses.
