Key Ideas--
Teaching is difficult, more now than
ever before. As you start this long
spring semester, and the road toward
STAAR, remember that your job is
NOT to save the world! You are a
SUPER HERO but not in ways that
Hollywood defines. You, regardless of
what the scores may say, ARE
TEACHING and IMPACTING the
lives of future generations. Press on
and continue being a reflective
educator, who KNOWS your students
and does what it takes to see them
progress toward their goals. Dont let
the complexities of our field change
the heart you had when you decided
to become a teacher. It is a HARD job,
BUT believe that it IS WORTH IT! ---
Just my two cents to try and
encourage you as we step back into
the trenches!!
A Word about VOCABULARY...
Vocabulary would be a great piece to use
with this idea of flipping the classroom! If
students had the content vocabulary
before you begin the text or unit of study
that might be helpful. Check out
