THE

STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP
WORKSHOP

STRATEGY IS EVERYONES JOB

Strategic thinking will benefit leaders and teams in all organizations, as well as individuals who want to truly ignite positive change.

If the past has taught us anything, it is the fact that anything is possible.

WHY A WORKSHOP ON STRATEGICLEADERSHIP? More than ever before, organizations need strong, capable strategic leaders who can motivate, coach, and inspire people to do strategic work that will help ensure the organizations success over the long term. Contributors at all levels in the organization look to their leaders for direction and clues as to how the future will unfold and how they can add distinctive value to the organizations success. In order to survive and thrive, organizations will have to navigate strategic shifts and develop new sources of competitive advantage for the firm. Therefore, leaders have to increase their focus and effectiveness with the strategic work that has to be done to adapt to competitive pressures and uncover hidden opportunities. Leaders have a choice to make: they can look forward and take responsibility for strategic opportunities and problems that will arise in the business environment, or they can muddle through and hope that the future will be kind. Hope is never a strategy. Leaders serve others and the organization best when they create strategic projects and plans, and then mobilize their resources towards proactively taking on the future. For any organization to be strategically positioned, each function, department, and person will have to figure out how to align with, and support, the organizations overarching strategy. However, it is just as important that every leader create and execute their own unique, stand-alone strategy to parallel with the business. The strategies within the business will require ongoing review and discussion about emerging transitions, transformations, and all-out reinventions in the services, operations, processes, and the mind-sets of people to harvest strategic opportunities or navigate around the hazards that lay ahead. The Strategic Leadership Workshop provides leaders and managers with the skills and tools to help them successfully capitalize on the forces and events that shape their world, allowing them to become the architects of the future within their area of responsibility. This workshop will help leaders see the big picture and find new ways for their team to contribute maximum value over the long run by transforming their piece of the value chain and operating from a more strategic point of reference, while delivering on todays expectations.
