CEPS Roundtable Series Tuesday, November 19th

Christine A. Brunswick Public Service Fellowship

The ABA Section of Taxation is accepting applications for the 20142016 Christine A. Brunswick Public Service Fellowship. The Public Service Fellowship program was developed in 2008 to address the need for tax legal assistance and taxrelated public service. Application form available here. Affordable Care Act Panel Tuesday, November 19th

What are the implications of the new health care law? The Miami Law Health Law Association will be hosting a panel discussion about the Affordable Care Act featuring a variety of experts. Distinguished panels include Andrea M. Ferrari and Albert Chip Hutzler of Healthcare Appraisers, Inc.; Miami Law Professor Frances R. Hill; and Alan Lash, partner of Lash & Goldberg. 1:30-2pm in Miami Law Multipurpose Room at the Student Activities Center.

Georgetown Law Domestic Violence Clinic Graduate Teaching Fellowship

The Georgetown University Law Centers Domestic Violence Clinic hires one person to serve as a clinical teaching fellow and supervising attorney each year, for a two-year term. The fellowship experience is designed particularly to develop the fellows skills as a clinical instructor and to introduce fellows to a career in clinical law teaching. Throughout the fellowship, fellows also receive extensive supervision and training on their litigation skills. Click here for application. Applications due November 15.

Over 800 hours of community service were logged by participants for their work across Miami-Dade County on August 16th.
