Many have stated that it is impossible to know whether or not we are living in the last days
before the second coming of Jesus Christ. However, below you will find dramatic proof that
these are the endtimes. The proofs below defy coincidence.
Euphrates River to Be Dried Up In Revelation 16:12, the Bible predicts that the Euphrates River
will be dried up to prepare the way for the kings of the east to invade Israel. This will happen at the time of the battle of Armageddon
according to verse 16 of the same chapter. The battle of Armageddon will be the final battle at which time Jesus will return and fight
on the side of the nation of Israel. Immediately thereafter He will establish His kingdom and usher in His one thousand-year reign of
peace. On January 13, 1990, the Indianapolis Star carried the headline Turkey Will Cut Off Flow of Euphrates for One Month. The
article stated that a huge reservoir had been built by Turkey. While filling up the reservoir, the flow of the Euphrates would be stopped
for one month and a concrete plug for a diversion channel built. These things have now been done. With this newly built dam, Turkey
has the ability to stop the Euphrates River at will. The conditions for fulfilling this 1,900 year-old prophecy are now in place.
In Revelation 9:15-16,
the Bible prophesies that an army of 200 million soldiers will launch a war which would kill the third part of men. Never in the
history of the world until our present generation has there been a power on earth that could field 200 million soldiers. However, the
late ruler of China, Mao Tse Tung boasted in his diary that he could field an army of 200 million. The CIA World Factbook reports
that in the year 2001, it is estimated that China has 200,886,946 men of military age, and this number is growing by 10 million per
year.
In Revelation 13, the Bible prophesies that a
world dictator will soon rule over a world government. He will cause all people in the earth to receive a number without which they
will be unable to buy or sell. We are seeing this prophecy fulfilled before our eyes in a most astonishing way. Nearly every human
being in the world now has been assigned a number. In America it is our Social Security number. In the past few years, we have seen
this number extended to newborns. A child without a Social Security number cannot be declared as a dependent on an income tax
return. We have seen the emergence of electronic money, shopping with credit cards, and many people urging the abolishment of cash.
All of these things could not possibly have been fulfilled until this present time. Only after the invention of the computer could such a
worldwide numbering system be administered.
Revelation 13:7 and
Daniel 7:23 prophesy the establishment of a world government. The term New World Order has become a prevalent phrase in the
worlds political culture. Mikhail Gorbachev made the term famous, and Pope John Paul II has referred to it repeatedly. In the
September 12, 1990 issue of the Chicago Tribune, our former president George Bush said, Iraq is the first test for the New World
Order. He emphatically stated that the Iraq War is Saddam Hussein against the world. The United Nations troops are continually
referred to as the multi-national forces. The decision has been made to establish an interdependent community of nations that will rule
the world under United Nations authority. The Bible says that this will lead us into a great world government. The formation of this
government is at hand.
Is it coincidental that all of these major prophecies pertaining to the last times are being fulfilled simultaneously?

I
n his famous book Tale of Two Cities,
Charles Dickens wrote, It was the best
of times. It was the worst of times.
Those words are truer today than when
they were written. Our world has never
faced more dangerous times than it is facing
right now. The prophetic fulfillments present-
ly in progress speak of World War III. This
war will make all preceding wars, even World
Wars I and II, seem like weekend maneuvers
by the National Guard, in comparison. This
coming war will destroy one-third of
mankind.
Yet, even while living under the specter of
the emerging world government, the mark of
the beast and the rise of the Antichrist, we
experience the thrill of being the generation
that is witnessing first hand the unfolding
events of the book of Revelation. Revelation is
literally an account given to us in advance of
the revealing of Jesus Christ to the world. The
concluding act will be And every eye shall
behold Him.
You and I live in the rarified atmosphere of
belonging to the unique generation that Jesus
prophesied about in Matthew 24:34. He said,
...This generation shall not pass, till all these
things be fulfilled.
We do live in a generation of destinybut
what is our destiny? Jesus revealed your des-
tiny and mine in Matthew 24:14 when He
said, And this gospel of the kingdom shall be
preached in all the world for a witness unto all
nations; and then shall the end come. We are
the endtime generation that will spread the
gospel of the soon coming kingdom of Jesus
Christ into the entire world. Lets get busy and

About Ashcroft
I am interested in what you know about Attorney General
John Ashcroft. Is he a real Christian? Is he willingly playing
into establishing the American police state because he believes
he will be raptured away before its impact is felt in our nation?
It seems odd that a real Christian would make it to that level
of government. Thanks.

Reply: I dont know Mr. Ashcroft personally, and I dont know
what he believes concerning the rapture. The only measuring
stick we have is to analyze his actions. He does seem to favor
turning the U.S. into more of a police state. And it appears that
he has no reluctance to instituting a national ID. I dont under-
stand how anyone who believes the prophecies of the Bible could
go down that road.
Does Mary offer our prayers to God?
I am a frequent listener (on the web), and am interested in the
opinions you express on the broadcast. I call into question your
interpretation when you allow callers to mislead listeners on the
issue of Catholics view of Mary. Catholics do not pray to Mary,
but we do ask her to offer our prayers to God. I am sure you
know this, but by not correcting callers I question your whole
interpretation.

Reply: I Timothy 2:5 reads, For there is one God, and one
mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. The
book of Hebrews refers to Jesus as the lone mediator of the new
covenant. The Bible does not tell us that Mary is also a media-
tor. The near deification of Mary, in which many Catholic circles
involve themselves, is not biblical. Many Catholics would
believe that Mary is still a virgin. This is a direct contradiction
of scripture. Matthew 1:25 states that Joseph did not know
Mary intimately until after Jesus was born. Then in Mark 6:3,
the Bible says that Jesus had brothers and sisters. Mary was a
virgin when Jesus was born, but she had a normal marriage with
Joseph afterward.
In recent times, five million Catholics signed a petition,
which was then sent to the Pope, requesting that Mary be
declared a deity, equal to the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost.
This is nothing short of idolatry.
Was Chernobyl Gods wrath?
The 3rd Trumpet is argued by many religious people to be the
Chernobyl nuclear disaster. I believe the 3rd Trumpet was
Chernobyl because the effects are similar to what happened dur-
ing the Chernobyl disaster in 1986. The Dniper River was pol-
luted in what is now Ukraine. It flows south to the Black Sea
and many thousands are dying as a result of cancer from the radi-
ation.
However, I do not believe the scripture is quoted exactly accu-
rate as we read it today in English and in other languages as it
was documented over 2,000 years ago. It states in Revelation
8:9-10 that the 3rd angel sounded a trumpet and that a star fell
from heaven burning like a lamp causing the waters to become
bitter killing thousands of people. This would be inferring that
God punished people in that area by dropping an object from
the sky, maybe allowing the Chernobyl plant to be bombed by
another country when in fact the Russians did a foolish experi-
ment at the plant that they knew was dangerous. Thus by not
informing the public and doing this experiment, a deadly acci-
dent happened which killed many people.

Reply: Your question is excellent. While we both believe that
there is enough evidence to conclude that Chernobyl fulfilled
Revelations 3rd Trumpet, how can that be since the wrath of
God came upon many innocent people? The question therefore
becomes, is the 3rd Trumpet, in fact, the wrath of God? The
answer is no. Let me explain.

In Revelation there are seven Seals, seven Trumpets and seven
Vials. Of these 21 events, only 9 are specifically called Gods
wrath. These are the 6th Seal, the 7th Trumpet, and all seven
Vials. The Bible does not classify the remaining six Seals and six
Trumpets as the wrath of God. These 12 passages recorded by
John are merely significant events that will take place on earth
during the time leading up to the period known as Gods wrath.
(The 3 1/2 years immediately preceding Gods wrath is known
in the Bible as the Great Tribulation, Matt. 24:21; also known
as the wrath of Satan, Rev. 12:12.)
It has been widely taught that all of the Seal, Trumpet and
Vial judgments are the wrath of God. Scriptures do not support
this assertion. (Endtime has produced a six-lesson series dealing
with this, and related issues, called The Sequence of Endtime
Events.)
The time is coming when...
Those who have SS#'s, have they already received the mark of
the beast?
J. Howard
Reply: Social Security numbers are definitely a forerunner to
the mark, but not the mark itself. Revelation 13:16-18 foretells
of a global society in which every person will have a number
without which they will be unable to participate in the econo-
my. In 21st Century America, the SS# most definitely fits that
description. It has virtually become a persons password to exist.
Recently, I learned that my home state of Indiana now requires
the SS# for all new drivers licenses.
The mark of the beast will either be the name of the beast,
or the number of his name. Accepting the mark will entail
worshiping or pledging allegiance to the Antichrist himself. At
this present time, a person does not have to do this in order to
receive a social security number.
This having been said, I must point out that the SS# should
be a concern. With the drive for a National I.D., coupled with
the drive to link all drivers licenses into a national database and
the insistence that all SS#s are to be included on those licenses,
it does not take a particularly creative mind to envision a near
term scenario as to how our number could become a mechanism
used by the Antichrist to establish his mark.

ts a picture that will be forever
stamped indelibly upon my brain.
The 747 Jet cut into the World
Trade Center like a hot knife slic-
ing into warm butter. Id never
seen anything quite like it.
The first question that sprang to my
mind: Was this an accident, or was this
some kind of deliberate attack? It wasnt
long until that question was answered.
The second plane plowed into Trade
Tower #2. Then came the news reports
disclosing that there were at least two
more airplanes under the control of
hijackersand possibly more.
What kind of madmen could purpose-
fully fly a plane loaded with innocent
individuals into a skyscraper where men
and women were simply going about
their daily jobs? What in the world was
going on here?
That was my initial reaction to the sui-
cide attacks of 9/11. Im sure you remem-
ber yours. Of course, as we look back, we
now know who was responsible and what
their motives were.
Since the attack on America, weve
heard it over and over. The world will
never be the same. Things had changed
forever. And somehow, we all sensed that
it was true. A fundamental shift had
taken place in our world. Governmental
intrusions into our private lives that
would have been absolutely intolerable
previously were suddenly being accepted
without so much as a whimper.
Weve now had one year to recover
from the shock of 3,000 innocent victims
being suddenly snuffed out by religion-
crazed extremists. We are all still grap-
pling with nagging questions. How have
the events of 9/11 changed our world?
What changes should we accept, and
which ones should we reject? How much
freedom are we willing to surrender in
exchange for promises of security? Most
importantly, where is God in all of this?
And have the events of 9/11 accelerated
the prophetic fulfillments that are lead-
ing to the Second Coming of Jesus
Christ?
In order to answer these questions, lets
take a look at the major prophecies that
were directly impacted by 9/11. They are:
1. The coming of World War III in
which 2 billion people will die
2. An agreement between Israel and the
World Community concerning the
Middle East
3. The emergence of a system of world
government
4. A global belief system that will
teach respect for all religions
5. A cashless society where people will
need a number in order to participate in
the economy
One-third of mankind will die
The prophecy has stared back at us
from the pages of Revelation 9:13-16 for
2,000 years. Its words echo like a haunt-
ing harbinger of apocalyptic events to
come. It speaks of a war that will slay the
third part of men. We are challenged to
think the unthinkable. One-third of
mankind wiped out in a single war?
World War I with its 8.2 million fatal-
ities didnt even come close. World War
II and its unprecedented 52 million
deaths only amounted to about 1.7% of
the population of that time. The prophe-
cy we are considering speaks of a future

war that will kill one human being out of
every three on the planet! And there are
very convincing reasons to believe that
the September 11, 2001 attack on
America by the 19 Muslim extremists
may have unleashed the forces that will
soon throw mankind into the abyss of
World War III with its prophesied two
billion fatalities.
Why should anyone think that the sui-
cide attacks of 9/11 could have been the
beginning of the prophesied war of
Revelation 9?
Two major clues
We are given two major clues as to the
identity of the force that will trigger the
horrific war that will kill one-third of
mankind. Revelation 9:16 tells us that
the army participating in the coming war
will number 200 million.
There are three powers on this earth
that could field an army of 200 million.
Mao Tse Tung, the late leader of China,
boasted in his diary that he could field an
army of 200 millionthe exact number
in the prophecy. Chinas total population
is presently at 1.3 billion. The CIA Fact
Book of 2001 states that China now has
201 million men of military age (15-49).
Indias population of 1 billion is grow-
ing twice as fast as Chinas. This is quick-
ly bringing India to the point that she
could possess the prophesied number of
soldiers, if she doesnt already.
The last possible source of the 200 mil-
lion-man army is the Muslim world. The
present world population of Muslims
stands at 1.2 billion, very close to the
population of China. It is obvious that
Muslims could supply the prophesied
200 million men for the fulfillment of the
prophecy.
So it seems certain that China, India or
the Muslim world will be the initiator of
the prophesied war that will destroy one-
third of mankind.
The second clue concerning the perpe-
trator of the coming Third World War is
given in Revelation 9:14-15, Saying to
the sixth angel which had the trumpet,
Loose the four angels which are bound in
the great river Euphrates. And the four
angels were loosed, which were prepared
for an hour, and a day, and a month, and
a year, for to slay the third part of men.
What does the Euphrates River have to
do with the coming apocalyptic war?
World Book Encyclopedia depicts the
Euphrates River as beginning in Turkey,
flowing through Syria, then through Iraq,
and finally emptying into the Persian
Gulf. Every single country through which
the Euphrates flows is a Muslim country.
The Euphrates River is an exclusively
Muslim River!
Verse 14 speaks of four angels bound in
the Euphrates River. What could this
mean? Hebrews 1:13-14 states that
angels are spirits. We know that there are
obedient angels and there are rebellious
angels. Scripture teaches us that one-third
of the angels of heaven joined Satan in his
rebellion against God Himself.
Would it then be possible that the
angels of the Euphrates are evil spirits
that have been held in check until the
appointed time? Could these spirits be
the spirits of militant Islam?
As we have discussed, three powers on
earth could possibly field an army of 200
million. But only one of the three can lay
claim to a special relationship with the
Euphrates River.
If the Muslims are to supply the 200
million-man army that triggers World
War III, and if the spirits symbolically
locked in the Euphrates are the spirits of
militant Islam, then it is very likely that
the spirits were loosed from the
Euphrates on 9/11 when nineteen radical
Islamists hijacked four airplanes (coin-
cides with four angels?) for the purpose of
attacking America. If these things are
true, then the war that will kill two bil-
lion people began on September 11,
2001.
It should be noticed that nearly every
conflict on earth today is being fueled by
militant Muslims. In the conflict between
India and Pakistan, the Muslims are the
force that is stirring up the strife over
Kashmir. The conflict presently brewing
in the Philippines is being fueled by
Muslims. In the Middle East, the
Muslims are challenging Israels right to
exist and have laid claim to the heart of
Jerusalemthe Temple Mount. And of
course, all 19 hijackers that perpetrated
the horrendous attacks of 9/11 were
Muslims.
Immediately after the September 11,
2001 attacks, President Bush said that
the United States was declaring war on

terrorism. He said it would be a long war,
possibly lasting as long as ten years.
All the talk is presently focused on the
planned attack against Saddam Hussein
and Iraq. Some observers believe that
Saddam will draw Israel into the coming
war, and that this will precipitate the
entrance of other Muslim countries into
the conflict against Israel and the United
States. The possible scenario closely
resembles the prophecy of Revelation
9:13-16.
All reports are saying that the U.S. will
attack Iraq within the next twelve
months. If things play out as many people
think they will, it is entirely possible that
we could see the fulfillment of Revelation
9 within the next year.
Antichrist and world community
reaches agreement with Israel
On the day the Trade Towers came
down and the Pentagon went up in
flames, video footage of Palestinians
dancing in the streets in celebration was
shown around the world. But the scenes
were only shown that one day. They dis-
appeared from public sight as quickly as
they had come. Why?
Yasser Arafat arrested the photogra-
phers that had recorded the footage. He
confiscated the video coverage in their
possession and demanded that their news
services discontinue showing the footage
that had already been sent to them. He
menacingly suggested that he could not
insure the photographers safety if their
news services did not comply. In response
to his death threat, the footage was
pulled.
Understanding the tremendous public
relations damage that these scenes could
produce, Arafat quickly went to a nearby
clinic to donate blood for the victims of
the attack on America. This magnani-
mous gesture was openly recorded on
video for the whole world to see. This
footage was not pulled.
However, the damage was done. It
must be understood that Arafats star had
been in decline for some time before
September 11, 2001. In July of 2000,
President Clinton had invited Arafat and
Israeli Prime Minister Barak to Camp
David in an attempt to finally settle the
Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Barak
shocked the world by offering Arafat
more than anyone thought an Israeli
Prime Minister ever would or could. He
offered to re-divide Jerusalem, share the
Temple Mount and create a Palestinian
state.
The only thing more shocking than
Baraks offer was Arafats reply. Well
take all of that, but we also must return 3
million Palestinian refugees to the heart-
land of Israelto Haifa, Tel Aviv and
Jerusalem. Slowly the realization began to
dawn on President Clinton. This demand
would result in the destruction of the
nation of Israel. The Israeli hard-liners
had been right all the time when they had
said that Arafat didnt want peace with
Israelthat his ultimate goal was only
the destruction of the State of Israel.
This truth was further driven home in
January of 2001 when a desperate Barak,
facing an election he was losing, offered
to totally surrender the entire Temple
Mount forever to Palestinian control in
exchange for a final settlement. Again,
the offer was rejected by Arafat.
Arafat responded to the most generous
peace offer he could ever expect to receive
from Israel by launching a new reign of
terror. Suicide bombers began to walk
onto Israeli buses, into shopping malls,
into restaurantsanyplace to kill as
many Israelis as possible. If women and
children were killed, so much the better.
The shock value and the creation of terror
among the Israeli populace were greater
with these types of victims.
Slowly but surely, the negatives of
Yasser Arafat began to outweigh his
image as a champion of a displaced and
downtrodden people. Arafat could no
longer contend that he was willing to
make peace. He had just turned down the
best peace offer he could ever hope for
an offer that most of the world thought he
should have jumped at.
Arafat had contended that the terror
attacks against Israel were not really ter-
rorism. He stated that the suicide
bombers were waging a war of liberation
against an occupying force. However,
these arguments rang hollow since he had
just turned down an offer by the occupy-
ing force to withdraw if peace would
result. The contention that Palestinians
were not involved in terrorism and did
not favor terrorism lost all credibility
when President Bush saw the video of
Palestinians dancing and celebrating on
the day that the 19 Muslims killed 3,000
Americans. And make no mistake about
itPresident Bush saw the footage!
The straw that broke the camels back
occurred in January of 2002. U.S. satel-
lites spotted an Iranian ship, near the
coast of Iran, transferring armaments to
another ship. That ship was tracked by
the U.S. until it entered the waters of the

Red Sea. When it became obvious that
the armaments were headed for
Palestinian territory, Israel was notified.
Israeli commandos boarded the ship, con-
fiscating 50 tons of illegal armaments
weapons that Arafat had agreed in the
Oslo Agreement not to possess. Included
in the illegal armaments was the powder
used to create the suicide belts used to
kill innocent women and children.
The prophecy of Daniel 9:27 states that
the Antichrist will confirm a covenant
with Israel. Since the Antichrist will be
the leader of the international communi-
ty, it follows that the international com-
munity will confirm a covenant with
Israel. The most prominent covenant in
the Old Testament was Gods covenant
with Abrahamthat the land of Israel
would belong to his descendants forever.
So what does this have to do with 9/11?
Until the Palestinian celebrations that
accompanied the terrorism against
America, many people thought the
Palestinians were a legitimate peace part-
ner for Israel. For some time Israel had
been stating to the world community
that Arafat was a terrorist. After 9/11,
Israel declared loud and often that Arafat
was Israels Osama Bin Laden. Slowly, but
surely, the United States and then the
world began to see that perhaps it was
really true.
The Palestinian terror continued
through 2001 and much of 2002. Israel
finally declared that she was done with
Arafat. We wont negotiate with him.
We wont even talk to him. To us he is
now irrelevant. At first, this step
seemed drastic. But as the suicide attacks
became more frequent and barbaric, the
United States followed Israels lead.
President Bush openly called for the
removal of Arafat and his Palestinian
Authority.
Finally, influential voices in the inter-
national community suggested that the
Palestinians and the Israelis would never
be able to make peace. They suggested
that the time had come for the interna-
tional community to set forward its own
peace plan. It was argued that, once a
comprehensive peace plan for the Middle
East was endorsed by the world commu-
nity, the international pressure to accept
this plan would become so great that
Palestinian or Israeli leaders who refused
to accept it would soon be overthrown.
This thinking led U.S. Secretary of
State Colin Powell to call for internation-
al peace negotiations led by the worlds
four great powersthe United States, the
European Union, the Russian Federation
and the United Nations. These four pow-
ers quickly became dubbed as the
Quartet.
The prophecy indicates an agreement
of some sort between the Antichrist and
the international community, and Israel.
It appears that the irrelevancy of the
Palestinians, which has resulted from
9/11, will continue, and eventually result
in peace initiatives between Israel and the
international community.
Why is all this important?
According to the prophecy, the con-
firming of the covenant between Israel
and the international community will
mark the beginning of a final seven-year
period that culminates at the Battle of
Armageddon. It is at Armageddon that
Jesus returns to earth to defeat the
Antichrist and the forces of the world
community and to establish His prom-
ised kingdom upon earth.
It appears that the internationalization
of the Middle East peace process is
preparing the way for this final seven
years to begin.
Are we in world government yet?
When the United Nations was formed
in 1945, it was designed to be a system of
world government. Any bona fide world
government must have a court system
that can enforce its laws upon the people
over which it rules. As early as 1948, pro-
posals were made to establish a world
court system. However, fifty years ago,
most of the worlds nations were not pre-
pared to yield their individual sovereign-
ties to a system of global governance.
In more recent times, national sover-
eignty has taken the blame for many
wars, and the idea of sharing sovereignty
within a world community has gained
popularity. The problem of global terror-
ism has provided impetus toward accept-
ing more and more global governance.
In 1997, President Clinton welcomed
the UN General Assembly to the city of
New York. In his speech, he stated that
the time had come for the establishment
of a world criminal court. Having
received the nod from the leader of the
worlds only remaining superpower, the
proponents of world government moved
quickly to implement a world court sys-
tem.
A conference was held in Rome from
June 15-July 17, 1998. The result of this
conference was the adoption of the

International Criminal Court Statute of
Rome. The ICC Statute was adopted by a
vote of 120 nations in favor to 7 opposed.
Interestingly, the United States voted
against the Statute after having been its
original proponent. The negotiators at
Rome had extended the power of the new
court much further than the U.S. had
favored or could tolerate. The sovereignty
of the United States, and every other
nation on earth, would be superceded by
this new enforcement mechanism of
world government.
In order for the world court system to
take power, sixty national parliaments
had to ratify. Many people thought the
ratification process might take eight to
ten years. However, the events of 9/11
seemed to accelerate the ratification
process. On April 11, 2002, the required
sixtieth ratification was received at the
UN.
The court then assumed jurisdiction on
July 1, 2002. For the first time, every
person on earth became subject to a world
court system.
The world government deceivers will
tell us that we have global governance,
but that we do not have world govern-
ment. Anyone have a dictionary?
Websters Third New International
Dictionary defines global as worldwide.
It defines governance as government.
Webster dares to tell the truth. Global
governance is worldwide government!
Anyone who tries to tell you any different
is either ignorant or purposely misleading
you.
We now have the World Bank, the
World Trade Organization, the World
Health Organization, the International
Monetary Fund and the World Court.
But the world government crowd will tell
us to not listen to the right-wing wackos
who try to say that we are entering into
world government.
In case you are interested, there are
prophecies that specifically speak of a
world government for the very near
future.
In the Old Testament, Daniel 7:23
speaks of the coming world government:
The fourth beast shall be the fourth
kingdom upon earth, which shall be
diverse from all kingdoms, and shall
devour the whole earth, and shall tread it
down, and break it in pieces.
Revelation 13:7 in the New Testament
describes the same world government sys-
tem: And it was given unto him (the
Antichrist) to make war with the saints,
and to overcome them: and power was
given him over all kindreds, and tongues,
and nations.
Dont all religions really worship
the same God?
In order for a one-world system of gov-
ernment to be implemented, globalists
believe there must be some kind of a
global belief system. They contend that
most wars are caused by religious conflict;
therefore, for the sake of world peace
there must be some kind of global spiri-
tual unity established. There are tremen-
dous efforts being made at the present
time to give birth to such a system.
At the Parliament of the Worlds
Religions in 1993, a Global Ethic was
published. It provided the general guide-
lines of thinking that all human beings
should adopt in order for nations to live
in peace and security.
More recently, Mikhail Gorbachev and
Maurice Strong have co-authored a docu-
ment called the Earth Charter. This docu-
ment contains guidelines for human
behavior in the realm of the environment,
shared spirituality and sustainable devel-
opment. They hope that the World
Summit on Sustainable Development
being held in Johannesburg, South
Africa, August 26-September 4, 2002,
will endorse the Earth Charter.
Gorbachev and Strong see this as a step-
ping stone to the Earth Charters adop-
tion as a global belief system by the entire
United Nations.
When it became known that every
9/11 hijacker was a Muslim, tremendous
pressure was exerted on President Bush to
exonerate the Muslim community. He
made the statement that the Muslim reli-
gion was a great faith (even though
Muslims do not believe that Jesus is the
Messiah or that Jesus is God). Muslims
were invited to the White House for a
dinner to observe the Muslim Feast of
Ramadan. This was highly offensive to
those of us who believe that Islam is a
pagan religion.
The one-worlders took the opportunity
of 9/11 to sell the benefits of their envi-
sioned global spirituality. Many contend
that all religions contain common ele-
ments and that we all really worship the
same God even though we call Him by
different names. Therefore, one religion
(or faith tradition as they like to call it) is
no more right or wrong than the other.
Thus everyone should treat all of the
worlds religions with respect. This new

religious inclusiveness is called
Interfaithism. Prince Charles of Wales has
recently founded an Interfaith movement
called Respect, which embraces the above
concepts.
The opposite of religious inclusiveness
is what the globalists believe is the
worlds worst cancerreligious exclu-
siveness. People guilty of religious exclu-
siveness believe that there is absolute
truth which must be embraced for salva-
tion. They believe their religion is true
and that all others, who do not worship
the God of their religion, do not have sal-
vation. Examples of religious exclusive-
ness would be when Jesus said, No man
cometh to the Father, but by me. Or
Except you believe that I am He you will
die in your sins. I suppose the classic one
of all times would be the teaching of Jesus
on salvation: Except a man is born again,
he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
Mikhail Gorbachev so strongly con-
demns religious exclusiveness that he
places it in the same category as genocide
or crimes against humanity. In his book
Perestroika, Gorbachevs blueprint for
global peace and security, he states on
page 231 of the hardback edition, We
must extirpate all genocide, apartheid
and religious exclusiveness.
On June 26th, 2000, an Interfaith
organization called the United Religions
was born. This new effort to unite the
religions of the world was born at the ini-
tiative of the United Nations, and its con-
stitution was signed on the 55th birthday
of the United Nations. The goal of the
United Nations Initiative was to bring
the religions of the world into unity until
they might speak with a single voice in
the same way the United Nations now
speaks as the single voice of the world
community.
Since 9/11, no effort has been spared in
propagating the concepts of Interfaithism
and religious inclusiveness. This has all
been done in the name of preventing a
cultural war between Muslims and the
Western Judeo-Christian world.
National ID and 666
The most ominous result of the attack
on America has to be the resulting hue
and cry for a foolproof system of identifi-
cation for the citizens of the world. For
many years, believers in total government
for the total world have wanted a system
of global identification so badly they
could taste it! In order to manage and
control people, you must be able to iden-
tify them and track their whereabouts.
The 9/11 attack by the Muslim hijack-
ers provided the perfect rationale for the
establishment of some kind of system of
identification. The contention was that, if
we had been able to know what the sui-
cide hijackers were doing, we would have
been able to prevent the horrible events of
September 11, 2001.
On December 13, 2001, a meeting on
the worlds refugee problem was held at
the United Nations. Mr. Pascal Smet, the
head of Belgiums independent asylum
review board, presented a plan whereby
every person in the world would be fin-
gerprinted and registered under a univer-
sal identification scheme.
In his speech, Mr. Smet said the
European Union was already considering
a Europe-wide system, using either fin-
gerprints or eye scanning technology, to
identify citizens. He stated that the plan
could easily be extended worldwide.
There are no technical problems, he
said. It is only a question of will and
investment.
Most people would agree that the
world may not yet be ready to make the
big leap into a system of global identifi-
cation where every human being on
earth would have his own personal glob-
al identification number. However,
many feel that the impetus for a nation-
al ID has been provided by the events of
9/11.
President Bush proceeded quickly after
9/11 to establish a huge new department
of U.S. government called Homeland
Security. Neatly tucked away in the plans
for Homeland Security was a provision for
the establishment of a national ID for
every American citizen. The plan pro-
vides for all state drivers licenses to be
standardized. Each should contain some
type of biomorphic identification and the
individuals social security number. In
spite of opposition from Congress to the
National ID scheme, implementation is
proceeding anywaysupposedly on a
volunteer basis.
By the waywould anyone like to
know what Bible prophecy has to say
about the emerging global ID system?
And he causeth all, both small and
great, rich and poor, free and bond, to
receive a mark in their right hand, or in
their foreheads: And that no man might
buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or
the name of the beast, or the number of
his name (Revelation 13:16-17).
So here we stand one year later, looking
back on the world changing effects of
9/11. Its true. The world will never be
the same. But through the eyes of Bible
prophecy, we are not left groping blindly
in the darkness. It is easy to see that major
prophetic fulfillments which signal the
nearness of the Second Coming of Jesus
Christ were dramatically accelerated by
the 9/11 tragedy. Lets review the results
of the 9/11 terror attacks one more time:
G It appears that the forces that will
soon destroy one-third of mankind were
unleashed.
G The prophesied internationalization
of the Mideast conflict has been accom-
plished.
G The establishment of a world court
system, the biggest advance into world
government in the last 50 years, is now
completed.
G The concept of a global spirituality
and that all religions are interrelated has
been sold to the world.
G One hundred nations now have a
national ID, and the rest appear prepared
to soon follow.
Since 9/11, weve come a long way. We
sure have. As a matter of fact, weve come
way too far. The events resulting from
9/11 are sweeping us, with breathtaking
speed, straight into the arms of the
Antichrist and his one-world government
system. Slow down AmericaSlow down
worldSlow down!
On the other hand, I hear the words of
Jesus reminding us, And when these
things begin to come to pass, then look
up, and lift up your heads; for your
redemption draweth nigh.
There are no
technical problems.
It is only a question
of will and
investment.

Chinas Military Build-up
Exclusive Interview with William C. Triplett
R
eports are pouring in of an
aggressive military build
up by China. Is their goal
merely to gobble up
Taiwan, or is it to be a
global superpower? Is a nuclear war with
the United States inevitable?
Endtime recently spoke with William C.
Triplett, co-author of the best selling
books, Red Dragon Rising and The Year of
the Rat. Triplett is the former Chief
Republican Counsel to the Senate Foreign
Relations Committee, and served in the
Executive Office of the President during
the first Reagan Administration. He has
more than thirty years of experience
working on China and national security,
and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
Baxter: In 2000, there were threats of
an imminent outbreak of hostilities
between China and Taiwan. During the
Taiwanese elections, the leading candi-
date, Chen Shui-bian, advocated Taiwan
independence. He won the election. We
heard of threats of an attack by China.
Has this threat gone away, or is it still a
danger?
Triplett: Its still a danger. I think our
Chinese friends there are part of the
problem, globally. Not only are they a
threat to Taiwan, but they are also deeply
engaged in the terrorism business as
well. They sell weapons of mass destruc-
tion to all the terrorist countries. The sit-
uation is growing quietly worse, while
everyone is focused on the latest bomb-
ing in the Middle East. China is becom-
ing more and more of a threat in the Far
East, as well as in its assistance to the
Axis of Evil.
Baxter: Ive read several accounts
recently that China is rapidly building up
its military prowess. What is the latest on
that?
Triplett: Id like to recommend that
you read a Defense Department report
on the Chinese military buildup

Jul2002/d20020712china.pdf). Buried
on pages 27 and 28 is a new revelation of
more nuclear warheads threatening the
United States. Previously, the range of
their missiles was such that they could
attack the West Coast. They have extend-
ed the range, and will triple the number
of missiles and add multiple warheads
at the same time other countries of the
worldU.S., Russia, France, Britain
are reducing the number of warheads.
The question is: why are they threatening
more of the American people? In 1997,
when they threatened Los Angeles, they
could get to the Rocky Mountains. Now
theyre across the Mississippi.
Baxter: Is the real core issue Taiwan or
is this a struggle for global dominance?
Triplett: In my opinion, this is a glob-
al issue. You see it more and more when
Chinese leaders make connections and
military agreements with the Axis of
Evil, from Iran to Libya to Syria to Iraq to
Cuba
Baxter: I read recently that Russia and
China had signed a mutual defense pact a
few years ago. It caught me by surprise.
Can you verify this?
Triplett: What we are concerned about
is a friendship agreement. That is the
official title. The problem is that in 1939
Hitler and Stalin signed such a pact. Only
after the war did the secret details of the
agreement come out. This time there is a
friendship agreement on the surface,
but we have great suspicion that precise-
ly what youre talking about [a mutual
defense pact] is underneath the waterline.
Baxter: I have read that China had 50
missiles pointed at Taiwan six or seven
years ago. Today they have between 300-
350, and are projecting to have 600 mis-
siles aimed at Taiwan by 2005. At what
point does this become overwhelming for
the Taiwanese, and at what point will
China feel confident that she can conquer
Taiwan before Americas response can
even begin?

Triplett: Your last question is the crit-
ical point. Essentially, what you are ask-
ing is at what point can the communist
leaders of China ask its generals Can you
do itYes or no? When will that
answer be yes? Do it means taking
Taiwan without enormous causalities.
China is a nuclear power. It could take
Taiwan tomorrow by saying, Surrender
or we will turn you into radioactive
dust. But, we are talking about a con-
ventional attack. To answer when, I
dont know. The projections Ive seen are
that they will be in a position to take
Taiwan before America can respond in
about 2004 or 2005. I can easily see that
Chinas capability to do this might be in
the middle of the presidential race in two
years.
Baxter: Another factor in the Chinese-
Taiwan situation is the Anti-Missile
Defense that President Bush is promot-
ing. I understand that he is escalating its
deployment as rapidly as possible. He
stated that we will do whatever it takes
to defend Taiwan. China heard that, too.
She has stated repeatedly that she intends
to take Taiwan either by diplomacy or, if
necessary, by force. If China means that,
she must soon make a decision. Once the
U.S. Anti-Missile Defense System is in
place and workable, China loses the abili-
ty to use her nuclear weapons to check-
mate the United States. Without a U.S.
Anti-Missile Defense System, China can
presently destroy 20 to 40 of Americas
largest cities. China doesnt want to lose
that ability. So, does the emerging Anti-
Missile Defense capability create a win-
dow where China will feel compelled to
act before we are able to implement it?
Triplett: Im glad you asked that ques-
tion. If you go back to pages 27 and 28 of
the Department of Defense report, you
will see that they say Chinas enormous
increase in missile buildup occurred
beforethats the magic wordbefore
the United States decided to deploy a
missile defense. So, they were already get-
ting ready to threaten the United States
before President Bush came to that con-
clusion or began putting things in place.
What you are pointing to is exactly right.
The machine was already in motion
before Missile Defense was checked off.

gerous timeframe, quite frankly.
Baxter: Ive been following this close-
ly, and it seems to me that a lot of Chinas
military buildup is aimed at counteract-
ing U.S. force. For example, the
Sovremenny destroyer ships were pur-
chased from Russia immediately after the
crisis in 1996 when they were threaten-
ing to move into Taiwan. That was dur-
ing Taiwans first democratic election.
Our aircraft carriers moved in and
stopped them. They had nothing to
counter the power of our aircraft carriers.
They placed the order for the
Sovremenny ships shortly after that.
China has now taken delivery on those
ships, which are specifically designed to
deal with aircraft carriers. It looks like
this whole build up is designed to coun-
teract American power so they can have
their way with Taiwan.
Triplett: That is certainly true. The
interesting thing is that, not only have
they taken delivery of those two ships,
they have ordered two more and are pour-
ing billions of dollars into these sorts of
weapon systems. This is all happening at
the same time as the Chinese people are
going hungry.

order without paying for it in blood as well as
in words and money.

The idea of creating a permanent
world military force has long been a
desire of many within the international
community. Arguments for such a regime
often center on the following line: Just as
local communities need police to main-
tain law and order, so too the internation-
al community needs a global force to
ensure law, order, and world security.
This vision of order and international
security has a long history. Already in
1910, during his Nobel Peace Prize
acceptance speech, Theodore Roosevelt
called for an international league to
enforce peace by force. That same year,
under the Republican Presidency of
William Taft, Congress passed a peace
resolution which would combine the
navies of the world into an international
floating brigade creating, it was hoped,
a type of high seas police force.
With the end of World War I and the
subsequent rise of the League of Nations,
it was enthusiastically believed that a
world police could finally be mustered.
After all, the Leagues charter allowed for
itself military assets, including naval and
air armaments. But World War II func-
tionally collapsed the League of Nations
and its dream of global security. However,
the idea itself did not die; rather, out of
the ashes of World War II, a new and
more potent organization arose.
Power plays in high places
On New Years Day, 1942, a short doc-
ument titled the Declaration by the
United Nations was signed by twenty-six
countries an agreement to cooperate in
overthrowing the Nazi regime. This

and an instrument of lasting peace. More
importantly, it was the first time in which
the term United Nations was officially
used.
During those turbulent war years, the
United Nations concept was hammered
out inside the power circles of
Washington, Moscow, and London.
Officials such as Hilary Saunders, the
Recorder of Combined Operations for
WWII, and Sumner Welles, US Under
Secretary of State, frequently referred to
the allied military forces as fighting for,
and under, the United Nations. Moreover,
released wire transcripts reveal that on
November 29, 1943, President Roosevelt
openly suggested to Stalin that this world
organization should have a Police
Committee, fully equipped with military
forces available to act against aggressor
nations. In the transcript, Stalin
responded by suggesting that this force
would have to be coercive. Sadly,
Roosevelt never corrected Stalin. Instead,
he continued to discuss his Police
Committee and openly suggested using
bombardment or even occupation as a
viable solution to opposing nations.
Winston Churchill was a party to this
idea as well. Approximately nine months
after the official creation of the UN on
June 26, 1945, Churchill, speaking at
Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri,
stated that the United Nations
Organization must immediately begin to
be equipped with an international armed
force.
Although a UN commanded and con-
trolled police force didnt materialize, the
dream persisted amongst foreign policy
experts. Thomas C. Schelling, a member
of the Council on Foreign Relations and a
recognized leader in military thinking,
published an action plan for a hypothet-
ical global army in 1964
The three main kinds of military action
that the force could take against a united
country would be pain, conquest, and
obstruction. By pain I mean sheer coer-
cive damage. Nuclear or other weapons
might be used to inflict civil damage at a
rate sufficient to induce the government
to change its mind and bend to the will of
the international authority. By conquest
I mean invasion or occupation sufficient
to put the international authority into the
role of occupying power. By obstruction
I mean military action designed to retard

a countrys rearmament, to make it more
costly than the country could manage, to
spoil it altogether or to impede it suffi-
ciently to prevent a major threat to the
security of other countries. This might be
done either by selective bombing or by
selective invasion and occupation of key
facilities.
Adding to the speed and efficiency of a
world army, Schelling recommended that,
forces could be kept deliberately
within the countries that are most
likely to be enemies. This would
mean keeping strategic forces within
the larger industrial countries. It
might include the option of moving
more forces into a country toward
which threats were being made or
with which war was imminent.
Moving extra forces into the United
States or the Soviet Union would of
course be a major political move and
might be subject to restriction of
access. The purpose of being within
the countrywould be to minimize
the cost and delay of invasion, occu-
pation, or selective destruction i.e.,
of war. Particularly for non-nuclear
invasion a quick capture of strate-
gic points in the country mobile
forces already within the country,
properly distributed, might enhance
the likelihood of quick success. The
force could occupy Moscow more
reliably with ground forces located
thirty miles away than by relying on
airborne troops in bad weather. An
amphibious landing on the coast of
Japan, France, or the United States
would be harder than just moving
troops already located within these
countries.
Schelling further suggested a radical
agenda that was more akin to hostage tak-
ing than conventional military opera-
tions,
put critically vulnerable parts of a
countrys economy and essential serv-
ices directly into the hands of an
international force. If the force can
control the supply of water, electric-
ity, fuel, transport, and communica-
tion to American, German, or Soviet
cities, it might minimize strategic
bombing, selective occupation, and
other violence. To coerce a country,
like the landlord who shuts off the
utilities when a tenant refuses to
move, the force could put on the
squeeze by shutting down services.
Rather than bomb electric power
installations the force might press a
key that sets off a charge of dynamite
already installed.
If one really believed in the relia-
bility and permanence of an interna-
tional arrangement, such schemes
for providing the authority with
hostages might be more efficient,
even more humane, than providing
it with bombers and shock troops.
One could even go further and let
the force have a monopoly of critical
medicines to use for bacterial war-
fare on a transgressor country. As
soon as it starts an epidemic, it
sends its medical units in to make
sure that no one suffers who cooper-
ates.
Schellings hypothetical proposals were
just that proposals. Yet they demon-
strated how dangerously advanced a
world military force could become, and
how it could be used. Decades after
Schellings extreme proposals, one of the
G8 nations would finally present a work-
able plan to the international community
a new world army would at last be
attainable.
Canada makes a proposal
During the last ten years, Canada has
positioned itself as a major advocate for
empowering the United Nations. In
1992, UN Secretary-General Boutros-
Ghali presented his forward-looking
peacekeeping document, An Agenda
for Peace. While the US administration
showed little formal interest, the
Canadian federal government responded
favorably by releasing a joint report
between its Department of National
Defence and its Senate Committee on
Foreign Affairs. Following in the steps of
Boutros-Ghali, the joint report titled
Meeting New Challenges: Canadas
Response to a New Generation of
Peacekeeping recommended the cre-
ation of a standing UN army (bold in
original) that would be able to counter
military forces of a lesser order. The fol-
lowing year, the Canadian Department of
Defense tabled its 1994 Defense White
Paper a policy directive which
enhanced the call to establish a UN mili-
tary authority.
Together, the Senate report and the
White Paper became the catalysts for a
more formal response. Hence, a high-
level committee was established between
the Canadian government and members
of the Ford Foundation, the International
Institute for Strategic Studies, the
Council on Foreign Relations, and mili-
tary and policy officials from Russia,
Uganda, Argentina, France, New
Zealand, Turkey, Japan, and seven other
nations.
The end result would prove to be the
most comprehensive national proposal to
date, and would provide the momentum
needed for the UN to actively pursue its
own military brigade.
Vanguards for change
In September, 1995, the Canadian gov-
ernment released the recommendations of
its high-level planning committee. The
document, titled Towards A Rapid
Reaction Capability for the United
Nations, made recommendations that no
other federal government had previously
dared. The group recommended,
The forming of a UN rapid reaction
force completely controlled by the UN
Secretary-General. It was suggested that
this military force be given a permanent
command center, standardized training,
and the go-ahead to obtain and use
advanced surveillance and communica-
tions equipment, including the ability to
monitor road traffic via satellites, ground-
sensors, and night-vision technologies. It
was also recommended that this force be
linked into national intelligence organi-
zations [ed. Note: spy agencies such as the
CIA, NSA, British MI-6, and the Russian
SVR].
The development and training of
the UNs own civilian police units inde-
pendent of the UNs rapid reaction forces
and independent of national govern-
ments.
Establishing numerous regionally-
based UN military headquarters along
with pre-stocking of UN military hard-
ware in nations and regions strategic to
the organizations security objectives.
Creating an early-warning alert
system, thereby giving the United
Nations the ability to monitor national

governments and their citizens, all in the
name of ensuring a fast response time. (In
reality, this is nothing more than the
establishment of a UN-based intelli-
gence/spy division.)
Other ideas such as alternative funding
for the world body (international taxes)
and granting larger legal authority to the
United Nations were presented. After all,
an international force would need global
funding and world law in order to func-
tion without interference from outside
governments.
Needless to say, UN officials were
delighted by the scope and vision of the
Canadian document. Other countries,
such as Denmark, saw the advantages of
a UN military brigade and jumped on the
bandwagon. In fact, the Danish govern-
ment started working on the political
will necessary to implement such a force.
Other European nations added their voic-
es, and, within a very short time, SHIR-
BRIG was born.
SHIRBRIG
On December 15, 1996, the govern-
ments of Austria, Canada, Denmark, The
Netherlands, Norway, Poland, and
Sweden signed a Letter of Intent, there-
by creating SHIRBRIG the United
Nations Stand-by Forces High Readiness
Brigade. Less than a year later, UN
Secretary-General Kofi Annan officially
inaugurated the unit. For the first time in
history, the UN would be equipped with
a military force under its own authority.
Presently there is a SHIRBRIG opera-
tional headquarters just north of
Copenhagen, a standardized training
manual has been written, and the force
has been used in Ethiopia and Eritrea. In
many ways SHIRBRIG is currently in the
embryo stage a stepping stone of sorts
to a larger UN military vision. In time, it
is hoped that the brigade will become a
self-contained unit with 5,000-10,000
rapid-reaction personnel under its com-
mand.
Will SHIRBRIG ultimately succeed?
Throughout SHIRBRIGs formation, the
US government has seemed indifferent to
it, and many American researchers and
foreign policy experts have viewed this
attitude as a major stumbling block for
UN military empowerment. However,
many in the international community
believe US support isnt as crucial as its
perceived to be. After all, the
International Criminal Court was
achieved without the blessing of the
United States. So too, SHIRBRIG has
already become operational without any
tangible US backing.
To top it all off, global players have
been positioning themselves to take
advantage of any favorable change within
US/UN relations. The final Canadian
report made it clear that current political
conditions are not immutable. Perhaps
Michael Oliver, president of the United
Nations Association of Canada, said it best
during a 1995 interview regarding UN
military empowerment; When theres a
shift in the US, well be ready.

mation disclosed in the video series first program.
Each of the four videos concentrate on a different ele-
ment of global governance that, unbeknownst to most
people, is fast becoming reality. Creating the World Army,
Forming the World Parliament, Imposing the Global Tax,
and Executing the World Court are the areas of focus.
Most of the information shared is not available anywhere
else, because it come from the inside where few are allowed and
none talk.

How the President Rates on Prophetic Issues

hen it comes to
prophetic issues,
how does President
Bush rate? Is he
making efforts to
put America into a position where she can
execute Gods will in the endtime? Or is
he, knowingly or unknowingly, leading
the country straight into the jaws of the
Antichrist?
September 11th greatly accelerated
world events related to prophecy fulfill-
ments, and has enabled us to get a clearer
read on the President. Lets take a look at
Bushs record on key issues as they relate
to Bible prophecy. Thumbs up, thumbs
down, and why.
International
Criminal Court
The Bush administration said it would not budge in its opposition to the
International Criminal Court.
It demanded immunity from possible prosecution for its international peacekeep-
ing forces, and threatened to veto the UNs Bosnian peacekeeping mission if the
immunity was not granted.
After negotiations, the administration settled instead for a 12-month exemption
from prosecution, renewable annually. While this is fine for today, it will not pro-
tect U.S. peacekeepers from a Democratic administration.
Did not ask for immunity for U.S. civilians or military troops not involved in
peacekeeping missions.
NATO
Global Warming
Population Control

Assessment
Bush heralded NATOs largest expansion effort with the application for ten former
communist countries to join the organization. Approved giving Russia a seat at the
table. NATO was designed to protect the West from Russia. It is now nothing
more than a World Army.
With the release of the U.S. Climate Action Report 2002, the administration
now acknowledges the existence of global warming.
Using the 1985 Kemp-Kasten amendment, the administration reversed course,
withholding previously approved monies from the United Nations Population
Fund, a UN agency tied to forced abortions in China. Kemp-Kasten bars funds to
any international organization that the president determines supports or partici-
pates in the management of forced abortion or sterilization.
On the positive side, we must recognize that President Bush is not a dictator. He
is surrounded by globalists. And if his desire is to steer clear of world government,
then he can only go so far. Yes, he gave the ICC a run for its money, but he ulti-
mately caved and that is what counts. In our opinion, the downs clearly outweigh
the ups.
Bush dismissed the report and still opposes the Kyoto Treaty, which in reality is
nothing more than a veiled wealth redistribution scheme.

Just following 9/11, Bush called Islam a great faith. Bush, a self-described born-
again Christian, announced that the U.S. is not at war with the Muslim religion,
and invited Muslim clerics to celebrate Ramadan at the White House.

Wave goodbye to civil liberties.
Bush established the White House Office of Homeland Security, headed by Tom
Ridge. The Presidents National Strategy for Homeland Security will give
Washington significant new powers and broad authority to reorganize the govern-
ment without congressional approval. The government may also seek to change
the 1878 Posse Comitatus law that limits the use of U.S. troops for homeland
security. The plan also provides for:
G the use of state-of-the-art sensors to detect nuclear and biological threats
G red teams of covert agents who will analyze U.S. defense weaknesses from a ter-
rorists perspective
G detailed review of critical infrastructure and a meticulous plan to safeguard such
facilities.
Citizen Corps
Patriot Act
President Bush has proposed a Citizen Corps, a broad network of 11 million vol-
unteers who will report suspicious activity in 10 major cities. Informant reports
will be put into databases and used without the targeted individual being made
aware of the existence of the report or its contents.
Passed by Congress in November, the USA Patriot Act gives intelligence agencies
sweeping powers, including:
G the indefinite detention of non-U.S. citizens for minor visa violations.
G the secret searching and bugging of private homes.
G the use of computer systems by financial institutions to draw together millions
of transactions to search for instances of money laundering, terrorist financing or
other unusual patterns. They will monitor confidential customer activity and
report suspicious behavior to law enforcement and intelligence officials.

He has not demanded that Israelis withdraw their forces from the West Bank.
(God gave the land to Israel.)
Branded Yasser Arafat a failure, and urged Palestinians to find another leader. Does
not advocate his exile.
Bush envisions the establishment of two states, Israeli and Palestinian. This is
dependent upon an end to the violence against Israel by Palestinian terror groups.
As part of the Quartet (EU, U.S., Russia, UN), initiated an international task
force for reform in the Palestinian territories.

Citing concerns for national security, in June Bush deferred for six months the
moving of the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
But. remains committed to beginning the process of moving our embassy to
Jerusalem.
In spite of all of the south-going thumbs, in general we feel that Bush is doing
right by Israel. The risk, however, of being a part of an international coalition that
will ultimately impose a settlement on the region is extremely dangerous from a
prophetic point of view.
The Pledge
One nation, under God unconstitutional? Bush called the ruling ridiculous.
The Department of Justice, however, is evaluating ways to seek redress.
The post-9/11 pressure regarding Islam was enormous. World War III was hang-
ing in the balance. But did he really have to call Islam a great faith? A born-again
Christian cannot be an Interfaithist. Did he go too far? Do we really know what
the President believes?

The Bush administration opposes a National Identification System...
...However, it is working with several national associations including the
American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators and state governors on
ideas for having national standards for state drivers licenses.
We are very pleased that Bush is against a National I.D. We are not pleased that
he is taking quiet measures to institute one. We are uncomfortable with his will-
ingness to turn the U.S. into a police state, although we understand why certain
measures are necessary for a nation not willing to trust in God. Such can only lead
to active U.S. participation in the endtime world government.

He named Iraq as part of an Axis of Evil along with Iran and North Korea. Bush
is determined to oust Saddam Hussein, saying the Iraqi regime, hostile to the U.S.

initely. War with Iraq is said to be forthcoming.
Bush said the U.S. will do whatever it takes to prevent Beijing from using force
to settle its differences with Taiwan, considered by China to be a renegade
province.
He is defending freedom. His fortitude to stand against evil is good, because you
never go wrong by doing whats right. Temper this, however, by the fact in both
Iraq and Taiwan, the real issue may not really be about freedom vs. evil, but about
money and oil. With caution, we will ignore this prospect for now and give him a
thumbs up.

A staunch advocate. Bush hailed the Supreme Court decision upholding the use of
public money for private and religious school tuition. It is believed he may now
have the opportunity to aggressively push the issue.
He omitted vouchers from a major education bill that he signed earlier this year

Bush declined for the second year in a row to sign a proclamation designating Gay
Pride Month. But...
...He recently signed a bill allowing for the payment of death benefits to the
domestic partners of firefighters and police officers who die in the line of duty.
Last year, Bush put a limit on funding for stem cell research with days-old human
embryos.
This May, the Bush administration approved the first federally funded project
using stem cells obtained from fetuses aborted up to eight weeks after conception.

Our evaluation centers on Americas destiny in Bible prophecy. Bush is a profess-
ing Christian, and it is apparent he does not specialize in prophecy. We dont hold
this against him. He has shown himself to be inconsistent on issues of prophetic
importance, and that makes a definitive assessment hard. If he is a dyed-in-the-
wool globalist, then he is doing an excellent job accomplishing his goals while pla-
cating the Christian right. If he is anti-globalist, then he is at complete odds with
most of his appointed staff, as well as his earthly father, George Sr.

After one and one-half years, President
George W. Bush has sent many mixed signals
to the American people. Is he a Christian, as
he professes, or a clever politician? Or, is he
just a regular Joe trying to find his way?
We asked listeners of Politics & Religion to

He is a globalist president. The only
reason he is against the world court is
because he is building an oil pipeline in
Afghanistan.
Regarding Bushs fight with the ICC,

The only confidence one can have dur-
ing these times is that President Bush is a

His works, as taught by Jesus to judge by,
has left huge areas to doubt him on this.
For example, Pagan temple worship a
couple of months ago in Japan, his deter-

his promotion of Interfaithism and glob-
alism. If he reads his Bible as he says, how
can he promote some of these ideas?

Towards an Online ID
How would you like to receive a pass-
word or ID without which you will not be
able to buy or sell on the Internet? It is
coming, courtesy of an industry coalition
called the Liberty Alliance. The coalition
is comprised of companies bearing names
like Sony, AOL Time Warner, United
Airlines, General Motors, Hewlett-
Packard, Sun Microsystems, American
Express, MasterCard and Bank of
America.
While it sounds like a common sense
approach to security, it also sounds like a
prophecy in the Bible that speaks of
receiving a mark or number without
which you will not be able to buy or sell.
Standards for identity authentication
on the Internet were unveiled on July
15th. This was the first step toward mak-
ing the task of remembering long lists of
website passwords a thing of the past.
The standards will make it easy to log
into different systems, from making
online purchases to bank checking
accounts or credit card accounts. It will
merge different companies authentica-
tion systems enabling them to speak the
same language.
Privacy advocates object for several rea-
sons. The creation of a single ID standard
will make it easier for businesses to pro-
file Internet users for marketing purposes.
Furthermore, a single Internet ID will
place individual financial data at greater
risk. Chris Hoofnagle, legislative counsel
for the Electronic Privacy Information
Center explains, Its like using the same
key for your house and your car and your
safe deposit box. Compromise that one
key, and all the golden eggs are compro-
mised.
The drive to create a single password
entry for the Internet marketplace dove-
tails very closely with the campaign to
establish a National ID system. Such a
system is now being proposed under the
guise of having national standards for
state drivers licenses.
It should be noted that one of the most
prominent promoters of National ID in
the U.S. is Scott McNealy, CEO of Sun
Microsystems and one of the heads of the
Liberty Alliance. McNealy and Oracle
CEO Larry Ellison have both been ped-
dling their company's products for free as
the basis for a National ID. The benefits
for such companies are enormous, consid-
ering the ensuing service contracts, which
would make their gifts highly prof-
itable.
Protecting Americans from terrorists is
not the motivation behind the establish-
ment of a National ID. Its about money.
The Bible says that, ultimately, this pass-
word-based economic system will be used
to coerce people. If you dont take the
number, you will be iced out. The choice
for biblical Christians will become Jesus
vs. food.
It can be argued that the Liberty
Alliance is misnamed.
Oh Brother, Big Brother
The national board of Big Brothers Big
Sisters of America has voted to enforce a
non-discrimination policy adopted back
in 1977, paving the way for including
active homosexuals as volunteers and
mentors to children at all 500 of its local
affiliates. Unless a parent specifically
requests that his or her child not be
paired with a homosexual, the informa-
tion will not be volunteered.
The dont ask dont tell policy is
under attack by some in the Christian
community. According to Family News in
Focus, gay researchers Karla Jay and Allen
Young once reported that 73 percent of
the gay men they surveyed had engaged
in sex with boys 16 to 19 years of age or
younger.
There is a strenuous screening policy
of character and worthiness for volun-
teers, Director of Media and Public
Relations Noreen Shanfelter told Endtime.
And parents have the final say on the
kind of volunteer who will mentor their
child.
Momma Plays Big Brother
Students at Michigans Edwardsburg
High School will be able to buy their
meals with plastic. All school cafeterias
will have a new point of sale system
installed that uses a student ID card as a
debit card. Parents will be able to send
one check for the family, which will be
equally divided between the children.
This will pay for meals for however long
the money lasts.
Parents can ask for a listing of what
their child had for breakfast or lunch on a
given day, as well as block out certain
food purchases. In other words, the new
system will allow momma to play Big
Brother. Reported in the school newspa-
per, This offers another opportunity for
the district and parents to be partners in
the important area of student nutrition.
A Decision Reached Prayerfully
The Episcopal Diocese of Kansas has
begun authorizing limited blessings of
unmarried couples for whom marriage
would be a financial hardship, whether
homosexuals or heterosexuals. The Rev.
William Smalley said that the limited
blessing will not be a substitute for mat-
rimony and may not resemble it liturgi-
cally. The decision was based on an
Episcopalian resolution adopted in 2000

in which the church acknowledged that
some members were living in committed
relationships outside marriage.
While the Kansas diocese is the first to
offer blessings to unmarried heterosexu-
als, it is not the first to bless homosexual
unions.
Smalley said, This has been a long
struggle for me. I can say this decision
was reached prayerfully.
In a show of denominational unity, the
Rev. William Wood from the Wichita,
Kansas diocese said, Regardless of where
we stood on the issue, we wanted to and
needed to support each other. Wood said
that he doesnt anticipate many churches
in the diocese offering such a blessing,
but that he would if the situation were
right.
Bush, Putin Cut Nukes
Global Disarmamentits one of the
UNs major programs. Strangely, another
of their programs is the development of
their own global army that is slated to
control all of the worlds weaponry. To
simple people like you and me, this
might seem like a paradox of sorts; per-
haps even a tad hypocritical. (All mis-
siles are bad, except the ones we own.)
But not to the United Nations. This is
how the world was meant to be. After all,
a one-world government doesnt need
armed opposition.
The book of Daniel has much to say
about the future leader of the endtime
New World Order. He will place his trust
in armaments and weapons, rising to
power on a platform of peace through
flatteries, not a military coup. Yet, he
shall work deceitfully. By way of his
seemingly peaceful means, he will end up
destroying many (Daniel 11:38, 31, 21,
23, and 8:25 respectively).
Understanding these prophecies makes
the UNs paradoxical actions much clear-
er. It also makes the recent agreement
between President Bush and Russian
leader Vladimir Putin either highly sus-
picious or remarkably coincidental.
Prior to the most recent summit
between Putin and Bush, the Jerusalem
Post, as well as other major world media
outlets, announced that the goal of the
meeting was to codify the New World
Order. What exactly does that mean? To
codify means to reduce to a code; to sys-
tematize; to put into order. New World
Order means one-world government. It
sounded like an interesting summit was
in the making! What would come out of
a meeting whose goal was to put code to
a world government?
It was the Treaty of Moscow.
Bush and Putin placed their signatures
on one of the most comprehensive global
disarmament treaties in the history of the
world. It calls for slashing both countries
nuclear arsenals by two-thirds.
It is undoubtedly more than coinciden-
tal that the UNs global disarmament
program is being executed according to
plan by both Moscow and Washington.
We must ask ourselveswhen the most
powerful leaders in the world play right
into the agenda of the only organization
on earth specifically designed to be a
global government... and that it is specif-
ically prophesied in the Bible to come to
pass in this exact manner...

Assign Transsexual Pastor
An assembly of Washington-area
United Methodist clergy voted to accept
Rev. Rebecca N. Steen as a minister in
good standing. Rev. Steen used to be
known as Rev. Richard Zomastny. She
is now the first transsexual pastor
assigned to a Christian church in
America.
The Baltimore-Washington Methodist
Conference, to which Steen requested
appointment, includes 702 United
Methodist churches in Washington,
Maryland, and in the Eastern Panhandle
of West Virginia.
Church trials are not very common,
but they have happened in recent years,
spokesman Dean Snyder said. One such
decision was handed down in March
1998, when the Rev. Jimmy Creech of
Nebraska came within one vote of losing
his pulpit for performing a commitment
ceremony between two lesbians.

that Kuwait will only accept a U.S. attack

would not become a staging area for a

American Airlines blamed a computer
glitch for labeling a frequent flyer state-
ment to a customer in Israel with the
address Jerusalem, Held Territories.
The airline is now trying to determine if
Israel is the best word to describe the
area. Earlier this year, it was discovered
that Israel is not listed in Motorolas cell
phone customer service manual, but does
list Palestine, with Jerusalem listed as a
city in Palestine...

Christian circles that we are not in control
of our own destiny; but rather, our fate
has been predetermined. It is sealed in
concrete, and there is nothing we can do
about it. Furthermore, we dont know
what that fate is, and so we must muddle
through life hoping that we are one of the
few who have been chosen.
Predestination vs. freewill
The teaching on predestination is root-
ed in the assumption that there has always
been a righteous seed and a wicked seed,
dating all the way back to Adam and Eve.
It is believed that the seed of Cain is the
wicked seed and Abel the righteous seed.
After Abels death, Seth assumed the
righteous line. If you are of that seed, then
you will come to the saving knowledge of
Christ. If not, there is nothing you can do
about it. Your fate is sealed.
The teaching of predestination destroys
the biblical principle of freewill. From
the gospels through the book of
Revelation, scripture clearly tells us that
whosoever will, let him come. Jesus said
(Mark 8:35), For whosoever will save his
life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose
his life for my sake and the gospels, the
same shall save it. The same concept is
echoed at the end of Revelation, which
says, Let him that heareth say, Come.
And let him that is athirst come. And
whosoever will, let him take the water of
life freely (22:17). The issue is our will,
not the luck of the draw.
Yet the Bible does refer to predestina-
tion. Romans 8:29 says, For whom he
did foreknow, he also did predestinate to
be conformed to the image of his Son,
that he might be the firstborn among
many brethren.
Predestinated according to
foreknowledge
According to the Bible, God knows the
end from the beginning. He knows our
thoughts while they are yet afar off. The
question then is: If God is never wrong,
can He foreknow what we will do without
forcing us to do it?
Think of it like this: You are sitting on
a hilltop looking down on a two-lane road
that curves around the hill. Two cars are
going in the same direction, one trying to
pass the other. Due to the curve in the
road, the passing car doesnt see that a car
is approaching from the opposite direc-
tion. From your vantagepoint, you fore-
know there is going to be an accident.
You didnt cause it. You didnt have any-
thing to do with it. Yet you did foreknow
it was going to happen. This illustrates
foreknowledge as opposed to predestina-
tion. God is able to see the end from the
beginning, but he does not control or dic-
tate what our actions are.
Deuteronomy 30:19 emphasizes that
human beings have the power of choice.
Moses said, I call heaven and earth to
record this day against you, that I have set
before you life and death, blessing and
cursing: therefore choose life, that both
thou and thy seed may live. God puts
before us life and death. It is His will that
we choose life, but it is our choice.
While denying that a person is predes-
tinated to be saved or lost, we must
acknowledge that the Bible does teach
predestination only according to fore-
knowledge. Notice Romans 8:29 once
again, For whom he did foreknow, he
also did predestinate to be conformed to
the image of his Son. The key to under-
standing predestination according to
foreknowledge is as follows. God
foreknew what we would choose and do
from the beginning of time. This did not
predestinate anything. However, know-
ing that each of us had exercised freedom
of choice in every situation, God said, It
is good and so be it. Once He saw that
justice had been done in every case, and
once He said so be it, then all things
were predestinated according to fore-
knowledgethe foreknowledge of God
concerning the choices that we made of
our own volition.
The role of Bible prophecy
God Almighty has shared with us some
of His foreknowledge. It is called Bible
prophecy. Amos 3:7 states: Surely the
Lord GOD will do nothing, but he
revealeth his secret unto his servants the
prophets.
So why has God chosen to make
prophecy nearly one-third of the Bible?
Because prophecy fulfilled provides us
with a great foundation for our faith. In
John 14:29 Jesus said, And now I have
told you before it come to pass, that, when
it is come to pass, ye might believe. Jesus
added in Revelation 19:10: The testimo-
ny of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
There are some prophecies that are set
in stone. We know that Israel will build a
Third Temple. Should we, as Christians,
take active steps to help build it? I do not
believe we should because scripture
teaches us that God does not dwell in
temples made with hands (Acts 7:48).
Rather, we should see the fulfillment of
this prophecy as proof of the accuracy of
Gods word and the nearness of His
prophesied Second Coming.
What about the United States of
America? Should we pray for our presi-
dent and nation and be politically active?
Absolutely. Why? The ultimate fate of
the United States is not sealed in Bible
prophecy. Prayer can change things! Only
God knows how it will all turn out.
