Many have stated that it is impossible to know whether or not we are living in the last days before the second coming of Jesus Christ. However, below you will find dramatic proof that these are the endtimes. The proofs below defy coincidence.

Euphrates River to Be Dried Up

In Revelation 16:12, the Bible predicts that the Euphrates River will be dried up to prepare the way for the kings of the east to invade Israel. This will happen at the time of the battle of Armageddon according to verse 16 of the same chapter. The battle of Armageddon will be the final battle at which time Jesus will return and fight on the side of the nation of Israel. Immediately thereafter He will establish His kingdom and usher in His one thousand-year reign of peace. On January 13, 1990, the Indianapolis Star carried the headline Turkey Will Cut Off Flow of Euphrates for One Month. The article stated that a huge reservoir had been built by Turkey. While filling up the reservoir, the flow of the Euphrates would be stopped for one month and a concrete plug for a diversion channel built. These things have now been done. With this newly built dam, Turkey has the ability to stop the Euphrates River at will. The conditions for fulfilling this 1,900 year-old prophecy are now in place.

In Revelation 9:15-16, the Bible prophesies that an army of 200 million soldiers will launch a war which would kill the third part of men. Never in the history of the world until our present generation has there been a power on earth that could field 200 million soldiers. However, the late ruler of China, Mao Tse Tung boasted in his diary that he could field an army of 200 million. The CIA World Factbook reports that in the year 2001, it is estimated that China has 200,886,946 men of military age, and this number is growing by 10 million per year.

Worldwide Numbering System Predicted In Revelation 13, the Bible prophesies that a
world dictator will soon rule over a world government. He will cause all people in the earth to receive a number without which they will be unable to buy or sell. We are seeing this prophecy fulfilled before our eyes in a most astonishing way. Nearly every human being in the world now has been assigned a number. In America it is our Social Security number. In the past few years, we have seen this number extended to newborns. A child without a Social Security number cannot be declared as a dependent on an income tax return. We have seen the emergence of electronic money, shopping with credit cards, and many people urging the abolishment of cash. All of these things could not possibly have been fulfilled until this present time. Only after the invention of the computer could such a worldwide numbering system be administered.

Revelation 13:7 and Daniel 7:23 prophesy the establishment of a world government. The term New World Order has become a prevalent phrase in the worlds political culture. Mikhail Gorbachev made the term famous, and Pope John Paul II has referred to it repeatedly. In the September 12, 1990 issue of the Chicago Tribune, our former president George Bush said, Iraq is the first test for the New World Order. He emphatically stated that the Iraq War is Saddam Hussein against the world. The United Nations troops are continually referred to as the multi-national forces. The decision has been made to establish an interdependent community of nations that will rule the world under United Nations authority. The Bible says that this will lead us into a great world government. The formation of this government is at hand.

ow for the question that everyone is interested in: How close are we to the beginning of the final 7 years spoken of in Bible prophecy? Im not going to be able to tell you exactly, but I can give you the signposts so that you will know approximately where we are.

Scripture clearly teaches that the Antichrist and False Prophet will emerge from a reborn Holy Roman Empire. That rebirth occurred in 2004. During the last year, the European Union added ten new members, bringing the total EU population to 455 million. They also concluded an agreement on the first-ever European constitution. Most of Europe already shares the same money and have adopted the European flag. The designer of Europes flag, Arsene Heitz, revealed that the 12 stars of the flag come from the 12 stars that traditionally ring the head of the Virgin Mary. Her 12 stars are also found on Europes license plates and on her money. The Roman Catholic Church and Europes politicians are once again in alliance. The Holy Roman Empire lives!

WE BELIEVE that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, and that He will come again to establish a kingdom that shall never be destroyed (Daniel 2:44). Those who are born again (John 3:3-5) will have eternal life and rule as kings and priests with Christ forever.

The international community will confirm Israels right to exist in the Holy Land. This will mark the beginning of the final 7 years. The international community has negotiated the Roadmap for Peace, an agreement designed to bring peace to the Middle East. The Roadmap contains all of the elements that are prophesied for the confirmation of the covenant. Hopes are high that the Roadmap for Peace will be put back on track yet this year or early next year. In a speech in London on December 20, 2004, President Bush said that he was sure he would be able to bring peace to the Middle East during his second term.

WHAT IS ENDTIME MAGAZINE?

In 1968, Irvin Baxter Jr. discovered the United States and other modern nations in the Bible. He also found the Berlin Wall in the Bible and that one day it was to be torn down, reuniting Germany, and that event would be the catalyst to spark an international movement called the New World Order. These things have now come to pass. Irvin Baxter Jr., a Pentecostal minister, began Endtime Ministries in 1986 when he wrote A Message For The President, a book explaining the major prophecies of the Bible which he had been teaching since 1968. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, prophetic fulfillment accelerated rapidly. The decision was made to launch Endtime. The purpose of the magazine is to explain the prophecies of the Bible and to show that they are now being fulfilled in intricate detail. Articles focus on the soon return of Jesus Christ, the truth of the Bible, and the need for salvation. Endtime does not deal with doctrinal controversies, as valid as they may be. This will be left to other publications.

Nothing had ever jolted me quite as hard. Immediately, upon returning from Israel, I heard the news. President Bush had signed the Real ID Act on May 11, 2005. A National ID card for every person in America? I just couldnt believe it! Yet it was true. Ill never forget my first reaction. Its later than I thought it was. Were closer to the mark of the beast than I realized. When every person in America has his government-issued number, how e far away from 666 can we be?

At about the same time the confirmation of the covenant is to occur, World War III will happen. This war will begin from the area of the Euphrates River, according to the prophecy in Revelation 9:13-16. Most all of the Euphrates is located in Iraq. America has 150,000 troops in the land of the Euphrates at this present time.

Witchs comments on Immaculate Conception
I have been listening to your show for some time now. I am writing to correct an error that was made on your April 7th broadcast. First of all, let me start by saying that I am not a Catholic. In fact, Im not a Christian at all. I am a practicing witch. However, I was born and raised in the Catholic faith, and am a scholar of many different religions. You were incorrect in your statement that the Catholic Church teaches that Marys birth was immaculate. The Bible does refer to numerous miraculous conceptions, such as the conception of Abrahams son Isaac (Genesis 17:17; Genesis 18:12; Genesis 21:2), Isaacs children Jacob and Esau (Genesis 25:21), and John the Baptist (Luke 1:18; Luke 1:24; Luke 1:25). However, it is taught by the Catholic Church that while Marys conception was not immaculate, God did preserve her from original sin, since she had been chosen by God to carry his son, Jesus. Krys W. REPLY: The doctrine of the Immaculate Conception does not teach that Mary was born by virgin birth. It does teach that Mary, by singular privilege, was excluded from the stain of original sin. This doctrine became official Catholic Church teaching on December 8, 1854, when Pius IX declared it so. respect our governmental authority over us. I found out through reading Martin Luthers work that the Christian church twisted that scripture. He believed in Papal authority but not in some of the actions in the church. Also, why do most Christians think that the pope will be the Antichrist? Aaron REPLY: As I understand it, the basis for what the Roman Catholic Church teaches on Papal authority is based on what Jesus said to Peter in Matthew 16:18: thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. The next verse, 19, would be where Jesus gave Peter the keys to the kingdom, saying that whatever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. The error in this teaching becomes clear when you read the context of the passage. When Jesus said, thou art Peter and upon this rock I will build my church, Peter had just made the great pronunciation, thou art the Christ the son of the living God. Therefore Jesus was saying that He was going to build His church upon the revelation that Peter had just stated: that Jesus was the Christ. The Bible teaches in Mark 12:10: The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner. This refers to Jesus Christ being the cornerstone upon which the church is built. Secondly, when Jesus gave Peter the keys to the kingdom, He did not establish Papal succession. Rather, He gave Peter the keys to the

kingdom, which is the plan of salvationbeing born again. Jesus said, Except a man be born again, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. When on the day of Pentecost people asked Peter how to be saved, he told them how to be born again (Acts 2:38). As for your second question, the pope will not be the Antichrist; however, he will be the False Prophet referred to in scripture. There will be a political leader who will be the Antichrist. Whoever is pope at the time of the Antichrist will definitely be the False Prophet. Throughout the history of the Holy Roman Empire, there have always been two leaders: a political leader and a spiritual leader. There will again be two leaders in the last revival of the Holy Roman Empire: a political leader, the Antichrist, and a spiritual leader, the False Prophet.

I was literally shocked to hear you interview Will Grigg from the John Birch Society. This organization has been considered by many to be far right-wing and cloaked in darkness from as far back as I can remember and believe me thats a long time. You all out endorsed Mr. Grigg and the JBS by putting your blessing on who they are and what they do, not to mention that it came across that you greatly respected and admired him. The things Mr. Grigg accused our President and others of are not new to me and to most Christians who stay informed. He spoke of their association with secret societies, yet the JBS itself is considered by many to be a secret society. You have lost credibility with me.

Israel has never been able to sit on the Security Council because a nation must be nominated to serve in this capacity by its regional group. Israels natural region is the Arab states that surround her. However, the Arab states hate Israel and refuse to allow her to be a member of their region. Since Israel has not been a member of any regional group, it was impossible for her to be nominated. Recently, after repeated requests, Europe has agreed to allow Israel to be a member of the European region. Israel could now be nominated for a Security Council seat.

I enjoyed your article on the UN and your questions to Maurice Strong. I am particularly interested in why Israel is never considered for a Security Council seat. Israel has experienced more wars and terrorism than any nation because they are trying to return to the land God gave them in Genesis 15. To me, an everlasting covenant to give a land as an everlasting possession means the land still belongs to Israel. God told Israel that their disobedience would cause them many trials and, finally, dispersion. But He also told them He would put them back in the land and they would never be uprooted. The United States wants Britains proposed identity cards to incorporate the same technology as those used on American documents in order to ensure compatibility. It would make information contained in the British cards accessible across the Atlantic. In light of this, civil liberty groups are cautioning that the U.S.-led war on terror is causing governments to build a global registration and surveillance infrastructure. Its purpose is to monitor the whereabouts and activities of whole populations. These groups believe that national ID cards will become globally interoperable biometric passports. last month. The tapes sent via UPS early in May have not been seen since. The tapes contained names, addresses, Social Security numbers, account numbers, payment histories and other details. Meanwhile, Johns Hopkins University graduate students in a computer security course found an easier way to obtain this type of information: using Internet access, a few dollars and some spare time they were able to obtain reams of personal data on unsuspecting citizens and were able to build detailed dossiers using only public databases.

In Ohio, Butler County Commissioner Michael Fox is proposing a radical idea: implanting people on probation with GPS microchips so that they can be tracked and located immediately. Interreligious dialogue should help solve worlds pressing problems

Nearly 130 participants from ten world religions shared the opinion that while interreligious dialogue has contributed to overcoming some human suffering and helped combat fundamentalism, much more grassroots participation is needed. These opinions were voiced at the Critical Moment in Interreligious Dialogue conference organized by the World Council of Churches (WCC) in Geneva. The head of the Greek Orthodox Church said that Christian churches must set aside differences and adopt less confrontational approaches toward other faiths. he American people dont want a National ID card. They are getting one anyway. On May 11, 2005, President Bush signed into law the Real ID Act. Lawmakers and the Bush administration know that you and I dont want a National ID. They know we dont want a national database, storing information on each of us that can be accessed at the push of a button. Thats why the deceptive name Real ID Act was used for the bill. Thats why it was attached to must-pass legislation that provided funding for our troops in Iraq. Thats why this enslaving legislation received virtually no coverage in the mainstream media, and then was passed 100-0 in the Senate! Its a classic case of government knows best. The real truth is that government has lost faith in freedomgovernment of the people, by

the people and for the people. When our Senators and Representatives voted for Real ID, they voted for controlcontrolling you, controlling me.

Provisions of the bill

The Real ID Act requires a standardization of the drivers licenses of all 50 states by May 2008. The minimum requirements for the new licenses/ID cards are: name, birth date, gender, Social Security number, a digital photograph, address and physical security features designed to prevent tampering, counterfeiting, or duplication of the document for fraudulent purposes. The cards also must employ common machine-readable technology. Homeland Security is permitted to add additional requirements such as fingerprint or retinal scan, in addition to the above requirements. All of this

information must be entered into a database, which will be linked to the databases of the other 49 states. Not just drivers will need this National ID card. All adults will be required to have this federally approved ID. Starting three years from now, if you live or work in the United States, youll need a federally approved ID card to travel on an airplane, open a bank account, collect Social Security payments, or take advantage of nearly any government service.

They did not bother to add: Of course, the states will lose their federal funding if they dont comply. Furthermore, any state that opts out will automatically make non-persons out of its citizens. The citizens of that state will be unable to have any dealings with the federal government because their ID will not be accepted. They will not be able to fly or to take a train. In essence, in the eyes of the federal government they will cease to exist. But they dont have to comply if they dont want to. Yeah, right! Weve already been down this road so many times before that we dont even want to think about it! Fated to the back-pages, or crammed between advertising space for such exciting products as toothpicks or dental floss, its a topic that makes most editors cringe. And they cringe not because of the topic itself or its implications, but because to use this topic demonstrates how little there is in the way of relevant news stories for that particular day. But it is relevant, regardless of what editors or the general public think. In fact, this news story is so significant that, when carried to its logical conclusion, it will radically alter how nations interact, and how we as global citizens are governed. So what is this humdrum topic of singular significance? Reform: to be more precise, United Nations reform. Stop yawning. Since 1997, Kofi Annan, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, has been engaged in reforming the United Nations system. Most

daily papers and news magazines that have reported on this process highlight the apparent: UN budgetary restructuring, streamlining of agency resources, a reshuffling of personnel, blah, blah, blah. The dryness of the topic is enough to lose even the most ardent student of international relations. But theres so much more to it than meets the eye. On March 21st of this year, Mr. Annan released his anticipated report on the five-year follow up to the year 2000 Millennium Summit. Titled, In Larger Freedom: Towards Development, Security and Human Rights For All. The main thrust of the document was centered on restructuring all levels of global governance, and collective security in particular. However, what makes this document doubly interesting is that Annan continually hammered home a rallying date for major international changes, the upcoming Millennium Summit review in September, 2005. there is a yearning in many quarters for a new consensus on which to base collective action. That is because they know what kind of violent knee-jerk reaction it would generate. Maurice Strong sits at the elbow of Secretary-General Kofi Annan as his Under-Secretary-General for UN Reform. He has served for a long time at the highest levels of power. Here is the final installment of a three-part series the analysis.

n the last two issues of Endtime, we have carried our exclusive interview with Maurice Strong, Undersecretary-General for UN Reform, serving under Kofi Annan. Since the UN will undoubtedly be the world government of the endtime and since Strong has been assigned the task of reshaping the UN in order to prepare it for global governance in the 21st century, we felt that it would be worthwhile to analyze carefully what Strong envisions for the United Nations future.

UN reform
When asked about the progress of UN reform, Strong indicated that considerable success has been achieved in reforming the bureaucracy of the UN to make it more efficient, but that reform of the basic structure of the UN has been much more difficult.

The real power of the United Nations lies with the UN Security Council. The Security Council can pass resolutions concerning any nation or situation on earth. It can place a nation under economic sanctions to produce pressure on that nation to bow its knee to the edicts of the UN. It can decide that the world community should attack a nation, replace its government and even place its leadership on trial before the World Court. A recent example of this course of action was the invasion of Yugoslavia and the ongoing trial of Slobodan Milosevic. The Security Council consists of five permanent members and ten rotating members. The five permanent members (Great Britain, U.S., France, Russia and China) all have veto power over all Security Council resolutions. Strong pointed out that the structure of the Security Council is more reflective of the world as it was in 1945 than of the world as it is today. Heres specifically what he said about the Security Council: Reform is long overdue. The danger here is that, if reform is not affected to ensure that the Security Council more fully reflects the structure of power in todays world, then it will gradually be bypassed and lose its relevance. This would be a loss to the entire world because the Security Council performs some functions that are absolutely indispensable to world peace and security. The problem is that, those who feel their own powers and prerogatives may be diluted by reform, are resisting change. Strong is specifically referring to the Big Five that enjoy veto power. It is unthinkable that they would be willing to give up their veto power, especially the United States.

The surrender of veto power would mean the end of sovereignty. Of course, the 186 nations who have no veto lost their sovereignty long ago. Just ask Saddam Hussein! Many ideas have been offered for reforming the UN. The one that seems most popular right now is the expansion of the Security Council from 15 to 24 members with permanent members being expanded from 5 to 9. The four new permanent members that have been proposed are Germany, India, Japan and Brazil. However, these new permanent members would not enjoy the veto power of the Big Five.

That hated veto

The one thing that stands between mankind and world government is the veto. The non-veto possessing nations continually protest that the UN is unfair. Why should any one of five nations be able to veto the will of the majority? Yet it is understood that the United States will not even discuss the surrender of its veto power. Innovative ideas to undermine the veto are continually being put forward by the nations of the world. One such idea is under consideration at this time. This proposal is to allow a Security Council veto to be overridden by a two-thirds vote of the UN General Assembly. When we asked Dr. Strong about this new proposal, he answered as follows: It goes to a situation that other governments carry out at the national level. In the U.S. government, for example, a presidential veto can be overridden by a two-thirds vote of Congress. The principle is certainly accepted as valid by many nations. In that sense it obviously needs consideration. Certainly at the global level it would make sense to provide for an override in some situations. There are two kinds of situations in which a veto is used: those that may directly and imminently threaten the security of a nation and those that may directly or indirectly affect their interests. It is conceivable that there could be conditions under which an override could be used that would restrict its use to certain conditions that do not affect the immediate threats to security.

Need for enforceable international law

We asked Mr. Strong why President Bush sought a waiver for U.S. citizens from prosecution by the newly created International Criminal Court. His reply is telling. It gives us an insight into the thinking of UN advocates at the highest level. Strong answered, It is one of the weaknesses and difficulties of the fact that we still do not have a fully enforceable regime of international law that can enforce measures against countries that have not signed on to a particular UN treaty or convention. That is a problem. We do not have, on a global basis, that kind of enforceable legal regime. That is still very much in its infancy. It is inconceivable that we will have such a regime without the participation of the United States. It is obvious from this answer that UN officials believe the world needs a fully enforceable regime of international law. Strong also believes such a world governmental system is presently inconceivable in todays world without the participation of the U.S.

Notice he says that religious unity is necessary for survival: Conflicts are deeply rooted when they involve one religion giving up principles that they believe are essential to their belief system. That is difficult and hasnt very often proven feasible. But to transcend those differences, recognizing that it is in the interest of all, in the nuclear age particularly, to find a peaceful way of settling such differences is the common ground. Peace is not just a lofty aspiration. It is a necessity for the survival and well being of humankind, people of all religious persuasions. That overriding necessity for peace is what drives the search for unity and achieving it.

Javier Solana and I are coming up on our tenth anniversary so to speak. That day of mixed curses and blessings occurred on November 22, 1995. After devoting time to researching and exposing the New Age Movement and revealing its prophetic ramifications to the Christian community, I returned to the full-time practice of law on December 1, 1988. I continued speaking on the New Age Movement, edited a newsletter and,

with the assistance of an interested fellow church member, ran a computer bulletin board service on the New Age Movement and the New World Order. On the evening of November 21st, after carrying out my work as an attorney, I retired for the night near 11:30 p.m. I was to be at the Wayne County Circuit Court on November 22, 1995, at 8:15 a.m. before an ontime judge who liked early morning.

Sleep was precious, but weather conditions were problematic. awoke at 3 a.m., which was unacceptable. I needed every second of sleep to be an effective advocate. I tried my usual remedy of going to my husbands easy chair to read a book sufficiently boring to force my eyes shut. After an hour had passed, I headed for my basement office and logged on to my email account. The

opening screen contained information about a strong earthquake that had just struck Israel. Epicentered in Eilat, the 7.2 mw quake had caused massive devastation to the area. I clicked the appropriate link for more details. The Reuters story appeared with related sidebars. One link read:

EU-Israel enter into treaty

Of course, as a long-time prophecy student, that interested me. I clicked on the link and learned that the treaty had been negotiated by one Javier Solana acting under a full power of attorney from two European organizations: The European Union and the ten-nation Western European Union, a military federation. My first thought was: Who is this guy? In researching the New Age Movement, I read of their aspirations to scan major world books and news onto CD-ROMS. That way they could save trees and make books instantly accessible all at the same

time. I remember reading this to my husband back in 1982 and saying, Thats one of their better ideas. Ill get the first collection and keep up with them and clean house at the same time. I had a serious collection of CDROMS. I had Buckmaster disks, a news service specializing in archiving business news. I took a disk from earlier in the year and typed the name, Javier Solana. Instantly, back came several articles. The one that caught my eye was about a near war at high sea between Spain and Canada in March, 1995. Three Spanish warships had been dispatched close to Canadian waters by Javier Solana, acting in his authority as Foreign Minister for Spain. According to Canada, Spain had fished the halibut, turbot, and cod stocks almost to the point of extinction. Canada made fruitless pleas for moderation. When one Spanish trawler, the Estai, strayed into official Canadian waters, Canada

boarded it and took it into custody. With great public fanfare, Solana promptly responded by dispatching three war ships. The press release was one of the most incredible incidents of political doublespeak I have ever read. To summarize:

Yes, there are global treaties about fishing; The treaties cover only the types not the amount of fish caught; If we are going to have limits on fishing, they should apply equally to all countries and not just to Spain; Spanish fishermen originally discovered the Newfoundland fishing banks; therefore, they should have every right to exploit them.

While I was looking at this in amazed wonder, a new Reuters article popped up about the earthquake. It had come in the wake of an expected

political earthquake in the form of the pending Barcelona Conference, which would conclude the Barcelona Treaty. Javier Solana, with his dual power of attorney from the European Union and ten-nation Western European Union, would be solely in charge. There were three major items on the agenda, which were summarized by Reuters as follows: Battling religious fundamentaism worldwide; G Favorable trading terms for the partners in the Mediterranean basin; G Get the U.S. out of the Mediterranean and/or greatly reduce its presence there.

Twenty-seven nations were to be in attendance. The participants were clearly from an area paralleling the old Roman Empire. The only Mediterranean nation that would not be part of the proceedings was Libya. It seems that, only a few days earlier, Muammar Khaddafy had screamed at a gathering of Arab League nations, Whats the matter with you idiots? Cant you see this is a blatant European attempt to gain hegemony over our area? Thats exactly what it was. As I see it, if God could speak to Baalam through his donkey, he could speak through Khaddafy as well. His warning was ignored. Khaddafy himself later became panicked at being left out of the European Club and was admitted to conditional membership in the 2000 Barcelona Process. The U.S., according to the Reuters account, had requested to participate in the Barcelona Conference. They were denied on November 22, 1995, and granted observer status only. Thanks to a certain proficiency in internet usage, I too had observer status. I did it the poor mans way. Each night, I sat for hours at my computer calmly pulling down all available online working documents, press releases and articles related to the conference. Solana opened the conference on November 27th with what appeared to be an attack on Catholics. He said it was auspicious that the conference began on the 900th anniversary of the calling of the first crusade by Pope

Urban II. What a lot of intolerance and misunderstanding that led to, said Solana. The two-day conference concluded with a group picture and Solana successfully achieving his desired treaty. He was given sole credit for the diplomatic accomplishment. Ehud Barak was there representing Israel. He said that, at long last, Israel had joined the European Club and that such membership was long overdue. They had beaten their swords into plowshares, gushed Barak. Yasser Arafat was equally adulatory. On November 28th, I sent emails to my entire distribution list saying, Watch out for this guy. One of the recipients of my email, called me on

November 30th and said, Turn on your television quick! I turned on the set. There on CNN was Javier Solana, giving me the opportunity to see his face for the first time. He had just been unanimously voted the new head of NATO to the utter astonishment of the Spanish press. They noted that if anybody had predicted such a development even five years earlier, they would have been locked up as a total lunatic. Javier Solana was the leading Spanish opponent of NATO. He had written a pamphlet titled 50 Reasons to Say NO to NATO. In 1996, Boris Yeltsin ran for re-election as Russian president. His campaign theme: Youd better vote for me Im the only person

who can stand up to Javier Solana. I was dumbfounded. I sent an email to the White House and said, Please dont back Javier Solana as the new head of NATO. I cited his lets get the U.S. out of the Mediterranean stance from only a few days before. A few days later I came home and my husband said, You have a letter from the White House. It was from President Clinton who thanked me for the opinions I had expressed on Seor Solanas ascendancy to the NATO position. On March 21, 1996, I awoke with a migraine headache. Normally, I would have been getting ready for church. It was clear that I was going nowhere. I took three pain pills and headed back to bed. Barry turned on Sunday Morning, a CBS news program. As I was lying there nursing my headache, the host stopped to read a statement. We interrupt this program to bring you an important special announcement Javier Solana, the Secretary General of NATO, has just announced that the bombing of Yugoslavia might start as soon as the next few hours. Scenes were then shown of angry Yugoslavian crowds protesting the planned NATO actions. As soon my condition improved, I headed for my computer and did a search to see what Javier Solana had been up to lately. I found a speech where he was accepting a foreign policy award from a U.S. organization. He cited George Washingtons warning speech to the U.S. against entangling foreign alliances. Why those entangling foreign alliances are good for you! said Solana. I could not help but think of Daniels prophecy of a mouth speaking great things. In the same speech, Solana said that he had been given exclusive military powers over Yugoslavia, including whether or not to bomb it. Solana said he did not intend to use the authority without first checking in with the others, but nevertheless, the power is mine and mine alone. Further internet searches led me to Madeleine Albrights State Department website. On it, she stated that Solana has the power and has had it since January 30th. We are speaking with one voice through Javier Solana. That night, I watched as President Clinton came on national television to announce the forthcoming bombings to the American public. He never said, This is what I think we should do, or this is what we think we should do, or even this is what the heads of the world community think would be wise. Instead Clinton said: I agree with Javier Solanas decision to do this. Amazingly, nobody ever asked, Whos Javier Solana? I heard on our local news station that Pope John

Paul II and a Russian Orthodox patriarch by the name of Alexiye had sent emissaries into Brussels to ask Solana to please cease the bombing between the two Easters and give them a chance to try and mediate a peace for the region. A headline in our local paper on Good Friday, April 2, 1999 read Pope Rebuffed. A few days later I saw a photograph of the two church heads sitting together looking like two very dejected, and defeated old men. A week after Easter, I ran into Spencer Abraham, our junior U.S. senator from Michigan, and asked him, Why did we hand all that power to Solana? His answer astonished me.

He said he didnt understand the Yugoslavian policy himself it made no sense to him. He thought it might be President Clinton hiding behind Solana. Then he volunteered to me that he had met Javier Solana personally. Solana left his NATO position a few months before his job officially expired. He went to take a new position with the European Union as high representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy. He was reported to be the new tsar of all EU military and foreign affairs. He would also be the Secretary General of the European Union. The latter was to give continuity between administrations. Solanas new job had been created in December 1998, while he was still with NATO. The specifications were obviously written around him and his NATO experience. The job was codified in the official Europa documents as Section 666. Approximately six weeks later, on November 20, 1999, it was announced that he was being handed all the power of the Western European Union, a military federation with ten permanent members. He continued to make his routine announcements that he was working on a permanent solution for peace in the Middle East. On June 5, 2000, he introduced a bill in the Western European Union Assembly. It proposed giving him expanded police and military powers over Europe. It would enable him to preside over the Political Security Committee (PSC and/or COPS) and enable him to convene the Council of the European Union in the event of an emergency. That bill, Recommendation 666, was passed and codified at Nice, France in December 2000. Is Javier Solana the one? Should we look for another? I dont know; but if hes not, maybe the European prosecutor should consider drawing up an indictment for identity theft. Your guess as to the Antichrists identity is as good as mine. For now, however, it appears increasingly clear that Javier Solana may well be the best educated guess. May we realize the seriousness of our times and may the Lord help us e all!

One More Pope?

heres no city on earth like Jerusalem. And then, in a very different way, theres no city on earth like Rome. When entering Rome, there is a certain sense of foreboding. Driving past the Colosseum, images of martyrs being fed to lions haunt the mind. The catacombs tell their own story of Christians hiding underground to escape the pagan, blood-

thirsty tyrannical government of Nero. Then there is the awe! There is simply no place like St. Peters Square with its circular colonnade. The Vatican Museum boggles the mind with the incalculable wealth that resides there. For 1,000 years, the treasures from the wars of the Holy Roman Emperors were laid at the feet of the Supreme Pontiff.

When entering the Sistine Chapel, you realize that the most powerful religious figure on earth is chosen there. Pope Pius XII, Pope John XXIII and Pope John Paul II are names that spring to mind. For 2,000 years Rome has been the center of world powerfirst during the Roman Empire and then after Charlemagne and 800 AD, the Holy Roman Empire. Kings were crowned

and deposed here. Popes were enshrined and murdered here. Kings and presidents, Queens and prime ministers have all made their way to pay homage to that mysterious power residing in the papacy. No wonder they say that all roads lead to Rome. As we walked through St. Peters church, the worlds largest church, I was struck with the mixture of the

religious and the pagan. The images, the statues and the burning candles all seemed foreign to the Christianity of the New Testament.

Pontifex Maximus
On most of the statues and tombs of the popes, I saw the inscription accompanying each popes name Pontifex Maximus. What does Pontifex Maximus mean? I inquired

of our Roman Catholic guide. She explained that several hundred years before Christ, the High Priest of pagan Rome, who was the head of the polytheistic Roman religion, was known as Pontifex Maximus. Eventually, the Roman Caesars bore the title, including Julius Caesar and later Augustus Caesar. It was not until 382 AD, when

paganism had filtered back into the Christian church, that popes began to claim the name Pontifex Maximus. Since that time, the name Pontifex Maximus or Supreme Pontiff has accompanied the papacy. Strange! Strange indeed!

The papal audience

Pope Benedict XVI had been elected as pope just 22 days before our Israel tour group visited Rome. Since the Bible teaches that the person who is pope at the time of the Antichrist will be the False Prophet, and since we are very close to the time when the Antichrist will appear, we realized that this new pope could be the False Prophet himself. Therefore, we decided to attend the papal audience on Wednesday, May 11, so that we could see the pope for ourselves. When Benedict XVI came riding into St. Peters Square in his popemobile, the Catholic faithful from all over the world greeted him with applause and adulation. The atmosphere was very much akin to worship. Some of the devout were seen wiping tears at this face-to-face encounter with the Vicar of Christ. The atmosphere was electric and the

pageantry was moving. As I watched the pomp and splendor of the proceedings, scriptures about the Vatican came to my mind. Come hither, I will show unto thee the judgment of the Great Whore that sitteth on many watersThe woman is that great city that reigneth over the kings of the earththe seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman (city) sitteth. (Revelation 17:1, 18:9) Rome, The City of Seven HillsI had heard it all of my life. While the 15,000 faithful present worshiped and applauded, God contemplated the impending judgment foretold in scripture. What a paradox!

The last pope?

In the 12th century, an Irish bishop by the name of St. Malachy is said to have fallen into a trance and seen a vision of all the popes to come. According to the vision recorded in 1139 AD, there would be only 112 popes left. St. Malachy described each of them in a single phrase. It is said that some of these phrases have fit their corresponding popes in an amazing way. The pope just elected is the 111th

Listen to the words of Malachy: In extreme persecution, the seat of the Holy Roman Church will be occupied by Peter the Roman, who will lead his sheep through many tribulations, at the end of which the city of seven hills shall be destroyed, and the dreadful Judge shall judge the people.

The Eternal City is not eternal

Besides being known as The City of Seven Hills, Rome has also proudly worn the title of The Eternal City. St. Malachy prophesied that Rome would be destroyed during the reign of the next pope. More importantly, the Bible prophesies the destruction of Rome in the very near future and states that Rome shall be no more. It can be proven conclusively in scripture that Rome is the Mystery Babylon of the book of Revelation. Her destruction is described repeatedly throughout it. Revelation 17:5 and 18:21 speak of Rome as Babylon and then prophesies her demise. And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON

As of December 31, 2004, Wal-Mart is requiring all its vendors to have RFID tagging on all pallets that come across its loading docks. This is the first huge step in the plan for every item manufactured on earth to be embedded with an RFID chip less than the size of a grain of sand. The embedded RFID chip is projected to replace the bar codes that are presently found on almost all items. When RFID technology is fully implemented, it will allow the tracking of everything, everywhere. In 2004, an RFID chip implanted under the skin was used for cashless financial transactions for the first time.
