6 Interests
Being within education has always been my career choice. From my first experience
of teaching, I knew then how much I enjoyed giving and being in a job that was so
rewarding too.
I thoroughly enjoy reading and teaching Literature. I also write and have had 3 poems
published in Anthologies. I am currently working on writing a fictional book for middle
school children.
I also enjoy all aspects of RE. I believe it brings about true understanding of the
multicultural diversity we live in.
Science is another suject area I enjoy. It can empower children to think of their own
questions and the process of getting an answer, which is a philosophy of enquiry based
learning.
From the influence of ICT through my degree as a thesis and through my teaching
experience, I am confident to fully embrace it during lessons and training. I have
experienced how only using multimedia in teaching can enhance the learning and
communication process, especially those with specific individual needs
I have always participated and enjoyed sports and I have a number of sporting
achievements. I have represented my country for long distance running as well as
particitpated in netball and triathalon tournaments. I also played touch rugby in
Santiago, Chile. I enjoy yoga and have implemented yoga sessions for children within
my current placement. It is an excellent tool for enhancing concentration, balance and
overall well-being in children.
I enjoy languages and have learned basics in French and Welsh. Living in germany I
am able to understand conversational German. Working in Chile I also learned to
speak Spanish.
I have always been a friendly and approachable person with a sense of humour. I am
always positive and willing to help and learn.
I am eager to bring my hard working energy as well as all the tools I have gained to fill
the vacancy advertised.
