Sell An Element
Project
DUE ___________________

TASK: You will create a poster board on an element that is assigned to you. You are only

allowed to use pictures, symbols, and single words on your poster board. You may NOT write any sentences or paragraphs (EXCEPT for your slogan!). A portion of your grade for this project will be presenting your poster to the class. Your presentation goal will be to get your classmates interested in your element by emphasizing properties and characteristics that make it different and important. In other words, you are trying to sell your element to the class, being sure to specifically point out reasons why people would want to buy your element. You also need to create an advertisement slogan for your element, a catchy phrase that relates to your element and lures people into wanting to buy it. This is a research project. You are required to use at least three different sources in order to determine the necessary information about your element. You must include a works cited section on separate printed sheet of computer paper, or written out on lined paper. You are expected to use easybib.com in order to create your works cited page. Your works cited page must be glued to the back of your poster board.

This project is worth 100 points and counts as a test grade.

There are three graded portions of this project. The requirements for each portion are listed in the rubric on the back of this paper, along with a break down of how many points each item is worth. 1. Information on poster board (80 points) 2.
