I Am

My name is Craig Reska and I am the son of Dawn and Gary Reska. I was born on March 11th, 1996. I have an older sister and older brother. My sister, Becki, is twenty-four and my brother, Tony, is twenty-one. I am seventeen and a senior at Hanover-Horton. When I graduate from Hanover-Horton I plan on going to either Michigan State University or Eastern University to become a pediatrician. After graduating from college I plan on staying in Michigan and getting a job at a doctors office. I am a very competitive person; I like to try to do my best. I am a good leader, but I lead by example, and I have empathy, which allows me to be able to communicate with people easily. There are times in class, when I should ask questions when I dont. I sometimes need to speak up when I do not understand something or if I have a question. When I took the personality test I found out my type was ISTJ. It stands for Introvert, Sensing, Thinking, and Judging. This describes me as a quiet and reserved person, who is interested in security and peaceful living. This describes my personality somewhat accurate. I am a very quiet person and dont like confrontation. The I states that I am a person that would rather spend time with a small group or close friends, which is very true. I would rather hang out with just my friends rather than being at a party. The S says that I would rather focus on details rather than the abstract ideas. That is very true; I would rather work in a specific group for a project rather than working on the general idea. The I states that I am a person that bases their decisions on logic rather than personal feelings. This is somewhat true; I make my decisions mostly on logic but sometimes my personal feelings do influence my decisions. Lastly, the J

stands for someone who likes to carefully plan things out in advance. That does not describe me very well. I do not plan out in advance; instead I like to keep my options open. I am a very strong in about all classes at school. I have all As in my classes for far in high school. I am strong in history, reading, math, and science. My favorite classes in school are History and Psychology. The only class that I am weak in is English; I do not like to write papers. On the ACT I got a cumulative score of a 22. MY highest score on the ACT was a 27 in reading. My lowest score was in the English/Writing portion of the ACT, I got a 19. I am also part of NHS. This has made me a better person by helping others and has made me become a stronger leader. I am a good athlete, I love to play and watch sports. I have played soccer since I was about three years old. My mom said You have had a passion for soccer since you were little. I have been the captain of out soccer team since it started in my sophomore year. Being captain of my team has helped me become a better leader. I have learned what to do in different kind of situations. This has helped me in life in general by learning you have to deal with different kinds of people. I am a very smart and nice person, who would rather just hang out with his friends then go to a party. I have learned throughout life that you have to give back to the community and that there are many different people out there. In life you are not going to be good at everything and there is no shame in asking questions.
