Review of existing policy: A. Efficiency and Conservation in Electricity and Fuel Use 1. Operate aircon for six (6) hours only (9:00 am to 4:00 pm) Operate aircon from 8:am to 4:00 pm wherein from: 8:00 am to 9:00 am - on low-cool or fan mode 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm - on low-cool or fan mode or the use of electric fan from 8-9 am and 4-5 pm For employees to be productive during summer time (March to June), aircon units can be operated from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm To contain the cool temperature, a glass divider between HRD and PSED is proposed

Provide all units with electric fan The responsible person in putting off the aircon is the head of unit while the guard on duty will do the monitoring. A logbook will be maintained be the Guard-onDuty to record those units who are compliant and non-compliant It will form part as one of the criteria for the grant of PRAISE incentives

2. Employees are not allowed to extend beyond 7:00 pm.

Employees extending work beyond 7:00 pm must secure authority from the Regional Director or his representative Electric fan will be utilized by those rendering overtime services with authority, but they can use the aircon if more than one personnel in the unit will render overtime.

3. Scheduled vehicle trips

A Drivers locator chart will be posted at the guard indicating therein the trip for the day/week as reference for every unit if they have communications or concerns for delivery or for pick-up

B. Efficiency in the use of supplies and materials

Report on supplies used and unused of every division In printing draft communications, printer must be in the economy mode or fast printing

C. Others

CSC ROI employees with official transaction at the CSC Regional Office will be provided accommodation at the CSCROI dormitory as this will be indicated in the Travel Order. As one of the requirement in claiming travel allowance, a proof of undertaking that an employee is provided or not provided accommodation will be secured to the visited agency.

Electricity conservation

The replacement of incandescent bulbs to LED bulbs. Priority areas will be at the lobby and hallway along HRD & PSED To check the accuracy of the electric meter, it must be checked and recorded during Friday afternoon and early Monday mornings by the guard on duty.

Only one water dispenser, the one near the RDs office will be operated for employees use. In case there is training program, two (2) water dispenser located near the RDs office and that of the kitchen will be operated. Charging of cellphones and other gadgets are not allowed. Employees are responsible to charge them at home.

Water Conservation

Repair of leaking faucets and toilet bowl Limit telephone calls to official transactions only It is the responsibility of the Secretary to monitor personal calls

Mr. Dexter B. Pascua is assigned as IT to maintain computer units

Pledge of Commitment

Atty. Rex R. Ami is assigned to prepare the Pledge of Commitment for every CSCROI employees
