Arrive @ 1:01 PM. 4:00 PM, depart ORD on United #958 to London Heathrow. Arrive @ 5:55 AM. Explore London 5:55 AM, go through customs. Get pounds at ATM at baggage claim. Call loved ones. Take Tube, Piccadilly Line from Heathrow to Leicester Square. Transfer to Northern Line, one stop to Tottenham Court Road. Walk one minute north to St. Giles Hotel (1 Bedford Ave, London WC1B 3AU). Store bags with pre-arranged portage. Return sometime after 2:00 PM to collect bags from storage and settle into rooms. Free time all day and evening. HMS Belfast & Churchill War Rooms Breakfast on your own. Religious services if desired. Check with concierge in the hotel lobby. 9:45 AM, depart hotel to the Thames. Take the Northern Line to London Bridge. Five minute walk from there. 10:45 AM, tour of the HMS Belfast. 12:30 PM, tour ends. Lunch with the group at Hard Rock Caf-London. Take the Jubilee Line (same stop as Northern Line at London Bridge) to Green Park. Come out of the north exit and walk along Piccadilly towards Hyde Park Corner. 2:30 PM, lunch ends, head to Churchill War Rooms. Take the Jubilee Line to Westminster. 2:50 PM, tour of the Churchill War Rooms. 4:30 PM, tour ends. Free time the rest of the day and evening. Imperial War Museum Breakfast on your own. 10:00 AM, depart hotel for Imperial War Museum. Take the Northern Line south one stop to Charing Cross. Transfer to the Bakerloo Line to Lambeth North. Travel to France Day 7:00 AM, check out of and depart from hotel, taking the Piccadilly Line to Kings Cross St. Pancras Station. Breakfast either at the station or on the train. 9:17 AM, depart from Kings Cross St. Pancras Station on train to Paris via the Chunnel. 12:47 PM, arrive in Paris at Gare du Nord. Movement to Gare Saint-Lazare via the RER (20 minutes). Find a quick lunch near Gare Saint-Lazare. Call loved ones. 2:00 PM, report to Gare Saint-Lazare. 3:06 PM, depart Gare Saint-Lazare on train to Caen. 5:04 PM, arrive in Caen. Take the tram to Novotel Hotel: from the station, access by tram, line A or B, toward Campus 2-Hrouville St. Clair, alight at the Copernic stop, then take Rue de la Dlivrande. Normandy Beaches Breakfast on your own. 9:15 AM, bus pick-up to Caen Memorial Museum for the History of Peace. Tour museum. 12:00 PM, lunch at the museum. Afternoon guided tour of the Normandy Beaches, Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach, the American Cemetery, Longues sur Mer German Battery, and harbor at Arromanches. 6:30 PM, tour ends, bus return to hotel. Free time the rest of the evening. Explore France 6:45 PM, meet in lobby of hotel for final dinner at the Novotel Caf. Free time all day until final dinner. Free time after dinner. Return to Cincinnati 7:00 AM, take shuttle to Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG). Shuttle pick up at hotel. 10:00 AM, arrive at CDG. 12:40 PM, depart CDG on United #986. Arrive ORD @ 3:05 PM. 6:30 PM, depart ORD on United #3666. Arrive CVG @ 8:42 PM.
