Questions for double page spread: 1) How long have you been playing and writing music?

I have been playing music for around 10 years now, Ive made my way through a variety of different music. Ive not really been writing songs for too long , about 2 years now. 2) What got you into playing guitar? When I was 8 my uncle brought this old battered acoustic guitar round, I instantly picked it up. Obviously I couldnt play so I just use to sit there and pluck the strings for hours on end. 3) What Main Influences musically do you have? I admire a lot of musicians, such as Bob Dylan, for his immense song writing ability and constantly finding new ways to invent himself. Jeff Buckley for the way he could take somebody elses songs and make it entirely his own. Jimi Hendrix obviously for the sounds he produced on his guitar, unreal. 4) What singer-song writers / bands do you enjoy from Warrington? I really like a producer that goes by the name of the Ben Allan Project, Hes extremely talented, and He takes artists from the charts, such as lady gaga and transforms them into bearable pieces of music. 5) When can fans expect your next gig? Well I might be play a gig in venue at the end of February but at the moment Im focusing on getting my EP finished off. 6) What influences you to get up and write a song? (Laughter) Ive been as this question many times before, The answer I really dont know, At first I use to have to focus and sit down before I produced any material, but now it just comes to me. 7) Have you encountered any strange fans? I think everyone who is performed in front of people is bound to have seen some funny one. But for me it only goes as strange as people starting mosh pits to my slow songs 8) Can we expect an album anytime soon? Yeah, hopefully if my EP does well I can get stuck into my album straight away, a few songs Ive wrote for my EP I have saved for my album, so that should give me a head start. 9) Any stars of yours you have met? No, not yet I would love just to watch Dylan, just to say Ive seen him 10) What is a more enjoyable process? Writing songs or preforming them? The first time preforming a new song can be very, very scary, because you dont know what the crowds reaction is going to be. After a minute though all the worry goes away.

11) Pre gig rituals? Ill warm up with some old blues stuff, Muddy waters, lead belly, Robert Johnson just to get my voice there. I find finger picking warms the hands up the best. 12) I can imagine fans go a bit crazy when they hear your electric music, has there ever been an incident where it has got slightly out of hand? Well if im getting people trying to cause commotion in the crown in my acoustic sets, then you can only imagine the trouble I get in my electric set. I few try to sage dive but most of the time hit the floor with a thud. 13) Looking forward to any festivals this year? Im not a fan of that kind of stuff, all the mud and rain. Not for me Im afraid. 14) Opinion on pop music? If people enjoy it then its not for me to criticise, But personally I think that the majority of the Pop industry should produce better music. 15) Are there any other genres of music you are looking to get into? Blues, folk, folk-rock, rock, mainly stuff from the 60s, 70s and 80s. 16) There has been a lot of hype about you over the last few months; do you think it will last? Ermm it would be nice if I could constantly please my fans but if not it wont stop me making music and preforming. 17) What would you define your music as? I couldnt really tell you. I just like getting inspiration from all of the ages of music and blending them into one. 18) Are any artists you hope to work with in the future? Haha, I can only hope.
