Overseas Student Health Cover
It is a student visa requirement that you obtain Overseas Student Health Cover for the duration of your visa. A
Medibank Private OSHC quote for the expected duration of your visa has been included in your Acceptance Payment .

Arriving
QUT recommends that you arrive 2 weeks prior to the Course Start to make accommodation arrangements and settle
into life in Brisbane.

QUT offers an airport reception and accommodation service to overseas students. The relevant charges are listed in
your Acceptance Payment . If you choose to use these services, please make payment for these items together with
your Acceptance Payment. There is no accommodation available on campus. Please make arrangements for
accommodation before your arrival in Brisbane. You can register for Airport Reception and Homestay Accommodation
services when your payment is received and your offer is accepted.

Orientation
An Orientation Program is held on your first day. At the Orientation, you will learn about the university and its services,
prepare yourself for tertiary study and meet with your course advisors to determine your enrolment program.
