FOREWORD Application of this Facilities Engineering Standard shall meet requirements of Santos Environment Health and Safety Management System in particular, but not limited to: EHSMS 02 Legal and Other Obligations EHSMS 06 Training and Competency EHSMS 09 Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Control EHSMS 10 Contractor and Supplier Management EHSMS 11 Santos Operations EHSMS 12 Management of Change EHSMS Glossary HSHS 06 Electrical Safety Facilities Engineering Standards apply to all Santos onshore facilities and are based on Australian Regulations and Standards. When applied outside of Australia, local Regulations, Codes of Practice and environmental conditions shall take precedence. Compliance with Regulations and Engineering Standards is compulsory in accordance with EHSMS 02. The current Facilities Engineering Standards shall apply unless specifically stated within individual standards or when directed by Santos Principal Engineers. Regulations may superimpose retroactive provisions. Use of this Facilities Engineering Standard is MANDATORY. If any part of this Standard appears inadequate, unsuitable or not cost effective, consult with the Custodian to agree a suitable solution. This may result in a revision to the Standard.

Work Practice for Field Installation Checklists 1.0 SCOPE This Work Practice covers specific requirements for initiation and application of Field Installation Checklists (FICs). Field Installation Checklists are end of construction or end of maintenance documents used to assist punch-list initiation and to assure job completion prior to hand-over to the Asset Owner. FICs are used to confirm and record that workmanship and materials conform to the requirements of the Project Scope or Work Pack and the latest edition of referenced codes and standards and other appropriate Santos Standards or Procedures. 2.0 STANDARDS, CODES OF PRACTICE, RESPONSIBILITIES Reference: EHSMS11.3 Pre-startup Reviews FICs shall refer to appropriate national and international codes and standards as nominated in Santos Engineering Standards and Operations Procedures e.g. Engineering Design Guides, Specifications, Work Practices, and Operations and Maintenance Procedures. The Santos Representative is a Supervisor, a Senior Engineer or a more senior person nominated and authorised in writing by a Santos Manager. Responsibilities include: Nomination of FIC Responsible Officer Confirming location and storage of FIC records. The Responsible Officer is a suitably qualified person nominated in writing by the Santos Representative to complete FIC duties. Responsibilities include: Nomination of FIC Checker(s) and compilation of FIC records Review and acceptance of Santos or Contractors FIC forms for use where appropriate. Providing reference documentation, drawings and standards, attaching lists as required Accepting FIC records filled in by hand by at the job site (not in the office) Attaching originals of accepted FICs to Work Pack or Construction Record or Work Permit for permanent record, providing copies as required. The FIC Checker is a competent person nominated by the Responsible Officer to represent Santos at the job site. Responsibilities include: Completion of FIC forms at the job site Punch-list initiation Submission for approval by the Santos Representative.

3.0

TECHNICAL CONSIDERATIONS The purpose of Field Installation Checklists (FICs) is to check that final workmanship and materials conform to the job requirements FICs are not a specification. FICs are for use by Santos and Contractors refer to individual FICs for details. As FIC forms are not controlled documents, a Santos appointed Responsible Officer shall review Santos or Contractor FICs and select for fitness for purpose as appropriate for each application. FICs are always filled in by hand at the job site (not in the office) by the Responsible Officer or a nominated FIC Checker. Exceptions discovered during the checking process shall be punch-listed. Verification requirements apply each FIC page shall be signed and dated: By the FIC Checker at completion of site work, and then By the Santos Representative to confirm nomination of the FIC Checker and to show acceptance of the completed FIC. Completed FICs become controlled documents only when accepted by the Santos Representative. Any changes to accepted FICs shall be re-accepted by the Santos Representative.
