TeamLuby Update Week of January 20, 2014

Spring Street School

Mrs. Lubys class
Curiosity Challenge! What is your
child curious about? Homework this week
includes writing, drawing, or photographing
something he/she is curious about! For the
past few years, SSS fourth graders have
participated in this event and have
received awards and gone to Cambridge for
a wonderful presentation! Check out the
website on TeamLuby blog.
Remember those Box
Tops for Education! We
continue to collect labels in
the classroom before sending
to the office for official
counts! Hoot can be ours for a month!
We will be creating Valentine cards
for local elderly housing centers and others
on Friday, Feb. 7 (2:15 3:00). If you see
any cool stickers, stickie
foam shapes, doilies, or
other fun Valentine Day
supplies, please send them in. We would
love your help if you are available! Just let
me know!
Mrs. Ford and Mrs. Laramee,
our invaluable fourth grade
aides, both say thank you
for the thoughtful class
holiday gifts! Both of them love Dunkins
and the candles! They appreciate your
thoughtfulness!
Please have your child continue with
Scootpad assignments. No formal
SpellingCity this. It is always available for
home spelling practice.
Please update your MCAS calendar!
The MCAS ELA dates have been changed
to Tues/Wed. 3/25 & 26.
Dont forget sneakers on Tuesday and
recorders on Wednesday!

Math Club TUESDAY; 8-8:30 AM Long

Jeopardy to review and play a simple
machine board game if time allows.

went home last Thursday and extra copies
