About The Conference

Punjab Commerce & Management Association, in partnership with Punjab Institute of Management and Technology invites you to participate in the th national conference to be held on 5 Oct, 2013 at PIMT, Mandi Gobindgarh. An organization can grow and sustain its growth only if it can formulate and implement right strategy vis-a-vis the business environment in which it is operating. An organization's business environment consists of customers, suppliers, competitors, governments, creditors, markets, communities share holders, etc. As these elements of the business environment are continually changing, the organization's growth can be sustained only if its strategy is also changing in response to the changing business environment. In other words organization's strategy must adapt to the changes in its business environment. These trends will be the focus of research efforts over the coming years as we innovate new ways to turn considerations Punjab Commerce & Management Association in collaboration with PIMT will organize national conference where researchers, experts and policy makers from academic and industry will address issues of common interest and concern for the "Global Business". Altogether, we expect approximately 500 participants from universities, research institutes, business communities, embassies as well as government officials and private entities to attend the conference across the globe. You can be a part of this knowledge and policy development by taking part in this national conference.

ABOUT PCMA
The Punjab Commerce and Management Association (PMCA) works to create and sustain an environment conducive to the growth and development of Commerce and Management education in the region, partnering academicians, practitioners and policy makers through advisory and consultative processes. Through the process of interaction, the PMCA network aims to obtain a better appreciation of the subject of entrepreneurship. PMCA is a non-government, not-for-profit organization, playing a pro-active role in Indias development process. Founded in 2004, its main objective is to bridge the gap between academic output and standards of professionalism that industry aspires to achieve. The emphasis of PMCA activities is to bring theory and practice of commerce and management close. PMCA has made an offer to provide a common platform to ignite the minds of this region to rainstorm for constructive discussion and find solutions of conventional and contemporary problems in the field of commerce and management. It works in close collaboration with International development agencies, the Universities in the region and the academic/professional institutions in the field of Commerce and Management. PMCA strongly believes that partnership and cooperation between academicians, academic institutions, government and civil society is the key to economic and social development of India. Through Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs). Seminars, Conferences and Publication acti vities. The PMCA helps academicians to gear themselves for the challenges of the global world.

CALL FOR PAPERS


The Conference seeks to focus on different aspects of management and its inter-disciplinary approach. Original contributions in the form of theoretical and empirical papers on the above-mentioned tracks are invited from academics, research scholars as well as practioners. The above list is indicative. Contributions in sync with the conference theme will be considered in case the research work conforms to the broader scope of a particular track.

GUIDELINES for CONTRIBUTORS


All Papers will be evaluated through a double blind review process constituted by drawing experts from reputed universities/organizations/institutes in and outside India. Each contributor is requires to submit double spaced copy of the full paper and an abstract (not exceeding 300 words) in MS Word format in English in Times New Roman. For consistency. Use 12 type font in A4 size set with 1 inch margin all around. The participants are requested to forward the abstract and full papers via soft copy at the email ID pcmaregd@gmail.com with cc to enquiry@pimt.info. Final paper submission must accompany a certificates by the author(s) that the paper is an original piese of wprk and has been published not submitted for publication elsewhere. The cover page of the paper should contain. (i) Title of the paper (in bold) (ii) Name of the author(s) (iii) Professional affiliation of the author(s) (iv) Complete postal address with email ID and telephone numbers. Paper presentation will take place in concurrent sessions and the abstract of each accepted paper will be published in the conference proceedings. LCD Projector/Laptops will be provided for the presentation. Authors will be given sufficient time for paper presentation.

CONFERENCE PUBLICATION
Selected papers will be published in an edited volume after the conference in the book bearing ISBN.

ATTENDENCE CERTIFICATE & REGISTRATION RULES


An attendance Certificate will be given only if one registers himself/herself as a delegate and pays the delegate fee. In case of multi author, desirous of certificates, all authors will have to separately register. A single author presenting multiple papers should register for each paper if all papers are accepted. No TA/DA will be paid to any delegate who presents the paper in the conference.

IMPORTANT DATES
Last date for submitting abstracts : 15 September 2013. th Intimation of acceptance of abstracts : 20 September 2013. th Receipts of full papers : 30 September 2013. th Conference date : 05 October 2013. The participants are requested to forward the abstract and full papers via soft copy at the email ID pcmaregd@gmail.com with cc to enquiry@pimt.info.

TRANSPORTATION AND ACCOMODATION


Participants are requested to make transportation and accommodation arrangement on their own. However, outstation participants will be provided accommodation on payment only.

REGISTRATION
Registration Fee Rs 800 (For Academicians & Practitioners) Rs 600 (For Research Scholars & PCMA Members) Rs 300 (For PIMT/Sister Concern) The Paper in absentia can also be presented by paying additional fees of Rs. 500/- only

Registration fee can be paid through Demand Draft or Bankers Cheque drawn in favor of Punjab Commerce and Management Association payable at Ludhiana, Punjab and the same will be sent to Dr. B.B. Singla Asstt. Professor, School of Management Studies, Punjabi University, Patiala.
