Perhaps no other children's center in Russia can boast as much love from its visitors and such an exclusive location. Surrounded by such important Moscow sights as the Kremlin, Red Square and Manezhnaya Square, GUM, TSUM, and the Bolshoy and Maly Theaters, the Centralny Detsky Magazin na Lubyanke has quickly become an attraction and the center of attention for Moscovites and guests to the city. The building elegantly integrated into Lubyanka Square is known for having no bad side. Each side of the building faces a busy street: Teatralny Proezd and Lubyanka Square constitute one of the most important transport intersections in the center of Moscow, whereas Rozhdestvenka and Pushechnaya Streets are always full of pedestrians rushing to the numerous cafes and shops in Kuznetsky Most, a historical trading center. Two metro stations located in the immediate vicinity of CDM provide a constant flow of buyers, rain or shine and independent of traffic conditions. One metro exit leads right into the store, which in our harsh climate is a significant advantage. At CDM there is no strict division between shopping and entertainment zones — the fairy-tale atmosphere is felt everywhere. Having integrated attractions into the shopping galleries, we have created a diverse and rich space that will never become boring to the guests. Interiors Children are the most exacting audience, so at CDM a lot of attention is paid to interior decoration. A unique characteristic of our children's entertainment center is the large-scale and complex decorations covering all floors of the building, including corridors. The interior decoration is complex, well thought-through, interactive and dynamic. Constant decor elements serve as a neutral background for changing thematic decorations: in different parts of the store these are an old castle, a forest, a road, a space station and an underwater world. While walking on the different floors of CDM, guests will meet well-known fairy-tale characters and mysterious animals. Thematic and seasonal decorations appear around great celebrations like New Year, the Day of Knowledge, or during promotional activities (the opening night for a cartoon, a movie; a new book, a game, or a brand presentation). Each time a guest decides to visit our store, the inside will feature new designs. The two-level atrium with numerous viewing points is the center of our complex. Here the most impressive shows, concerts and TV-program filming are staged. A huge screen and powerful acoustic system will allow guests to see and hear every move and word from the stage. Mobile decorations turn the atrium into single magical space, always new and fascinating.
