Deciding to become the President of the Sports Club was one of the best decisions I made during my MBA. Our regular training sessions were a great way for students to build up strong and lasting friendships.
This year, we mobilized 20 volunteers in our class to support the 4th Credit Suisse Asia MBA Football Tournament. All of the sweat and efforts that our team put into training paid off, as we beat other top Asian MBA schools and kept the trophy at HKUST.
The time I spent at HKUST means a lot to me. Working and playing alongside a group of exceptional individuals from different cultures has transformed the way I see the world.
I still remember vividly our days in the Residential Program. I had so much fun and at the same time learned so much about myself and people in both personal and professional aspects. It was definitely the most interesting experience I have had so far.

Our MBA professor introduced us to an HKUST engineering faculty member whose team had pioneered a new solar technology but lacked the knowledge to commercialize it.
My team built a business idea around this technology and won several prizes at overseas business plan competitions. It was an exhilarating experience that would not have been possible without the universitys network.
