Lean back Planting foot should be alongside of the ball (6-8 inches away) Bum down Open hips and shoulders toward the ball Lean away from the ball Start to swing arm back across body in schncronization of the striking foot
Strike the bottom half of the ball Connect with the top, inside edge of the foot Keep the heel down
Eyes on the ball After contact, follow through by bringing kicking foot across planting foot

Eyes on the ball Hold ball in front of body Hands should be on the side of the ball
Release the ball just below the waist Time it with the planting foot Keep knees bent
Lean back point kicking foot down connect just below knee height
Strike the ball with the laces, on the bottom half of the ball

THROWING
Eyes on the target Hold the ball behind the body; arms straight Shoulders and hips are turned away from the target Lean back; put weight on back leg Swing arms together; front arm swing down, throwing arm swing up Transfer weight from back leg onto front leg Lean forward
Shoulders and hips start to open towards the target Weight is on front leg (keep knee bent) Swing arm overtop of body Release ball just in front of body Fingers pointed towards the target Flight of the ball should be downward
