Learning AND Development

SEEA has a long-term focus building sustainable education programs that are closely aligned with core-vocational skills provision, emotional intelligence skills development and antiradicalization. Our learning & development is focused on practicality - can you go back into the community / workplace and actually use the skills given to you? Our mentor-led enterprise / employability incubator (Spark Lab) is designed to fulfil community development needs.

Helping to achieve powerful visions

Spark in Africa
We have been working for a year with Activ8Change in the development of the African Centre for Human Capital Development (ACHCD). ACHCD is the creation of both a development center and large scale Africa Gateway within Ajaokuta, Nigeria, to deliver mass skills acquisition and development, and to support on-going community transition into self-sufficiency.

We have been delivering learning & development programs since 2001 with a growing emphasis on facilitated peer-learning (group discussion and exploration) and applied learning (20% theory, 80% activity). This helped Spark to secure the agreement to deliver work as part of ACHCD in Africa.
Applying knowledge

The Spark Enterprise & Employability Academy was officially launched on January 1, 2014. A not-for-profit organization, SEEA re-invests profits into a charitable foundation, business incubation and a no-fee recruitment business specializing in the placement of SEEA Graduates into meaningful employment.

Our overarching goal is simple: the sustainable development of societies through the creation and growth of new businesses and meaningful employment.

Enterprise
Sparks work with government, private & public sectors and academia means that we are one of the few organizations in the world to design & build enterprise ecosystemsthe environment that nurtures startups. Spark is the only organization in the world to have mapped the intrapreneur ecosystem. Our work in this area includes speaking at leadership and management forums.

Thought leadership

Spark in Europe
In 2013, we have traveled widely to speak and advise on intrapreneurship. intrapreneurship is an organizational investment into developing a structured approach to using improvement, innovation and invention to achieve something new and inspirational whether this is for social or financial returns or both (Boost! Enabling Intrapreneurs) As well as speaking at international events, we also advise government and major corporations on enterprise. Our work in this area includes the development of entrepreneur ecosystems, intrapreneur ecosystems and spinoff policies that enable organizations to create new ideas and then spin them out of the businesssomething that is of growing interest to local government.

Global reach

Not only have we mapped out different ecosystems but we have also developed Spark Lean Intrapreneurship Model (SLIM) - a blend of workshops, mentoring, projects and funding that will take an organization from concept -tolaunch in 14 weeks.

Intrapreneurship can help your organization to create a sustainable environment of increasing revenue and growing profits whilst embedding innovation within an inclusive and positive team culture.
