INSTALLING YOUR KCCL MAGIK BOX

The Magik Box connects to your TV using the AV port through the AV Cord provided with the Magik Box. Please connect RF Cable to RF IN of the Magik Box and Adaptor to DC IN. Connect the Adaptor to AC Power and Switch to ON. Change your TV to the correct AV port.

RETUNING THE MAGIK BOX USING THE AUTOTUNING FEATURE

Sometimes your operator might ask you to re tune the Magik Box. The steps for the same are: 1. Press 'C' on your Magik RCU (Remote Control Unit) and then press 'OK' for deleting 2. The Magik Box would ask for password. Enter your password (default password '0000'). Scroll to 'YES' Button and Press OK. Keep pressing 'OK' till it starts TUNING.

LOCKING /UNLOCKING A PARTICULAR CHANNEL

Select the channel that you want to Lock /Unlock and press the Yellow button on the Magic RCU. Press 'Lock This Channel / Unlock This Channel You will be asked for the Password. Enter your four digit password (if you have not changed, it will be '0000') and then press BACK .

ADD/REMOVE A CHANNEL TO YOUR FAVOURITE LIST

Play the channel that you want to Add/Remove and press the Yellow button on the Magik RCU. Press Add to Favorite/Remove from Favorite. Enter your four digit Passwords (default password 0000) and then press BACK.

ADDING A CHANNEL USING MANUAL TUNING

For some channels you might have to use the Manual Tuning feature of Magik Box. Press 'Settings' on the 'Home Screen' and choose Technical Settings. You may ask password. Enter the four digit password (default password 0000) and select the Manual Search. Enter the frequency and press OK. Wait some time for TUNING.

When you first switch on the Magik Box, it will show the KCCL logo and some promotion screens. Thereafter the Magik Box would start picking up the tuning information from the network as shown in the picture below.

PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT
Press 'Settings' on the 'Home Screen' and choose Programme Management. We can LOCK, SKIP and make a FAVOURITE list by choosing Edit the Available Channel. We can Edit/Add a channel to Favourite List by using Edit Favourite List. We can Sort the order of all available channels by using Sorting Channel.

Updating Initialize Auto tuning

After the tuning is complete, the first video channel would start playing. It's that simple!! The installation is completed.

Press 'Settings' on the 'Home Screen' and choose Parental Lock Control in My settings Enter Password '0000' and put the 'Lock Control' in ON mode. Then press 'Change Password' and then 'Enter New Password'. Here, enter the new four digit password and then press 'Confirm Password'. Thereafter keep pressing 'Back' till the TV channel starts playing.

HOW TO ACCESS THE ELECTRONIC PROGRAMME GUIDE

Press OK button and then RED button on the Magik RCU. We can access EPG by scrolling the Scroll Key in the Magik RCU. You can also get Synopsis of Channel by pressing i key from your Magik RCU.
