Abstract - Now-a-days when the wheat crop is ready to harvest, we need so many workers. They have to do hard work to harvest wheat crop so we have to pay high-price to these workers. It decreases the profit of the farmer. For example for 1 vigha land we have to give 100Kg. of wheat us compensation. Even after giving such a high price to the labors, there is scarcity of labor and particularly at that time we cannot find labors and because of this lack of labors, it takes long time to Harvest the wheat crop. So, to remove such problems of farmers, we are designing a machine which will help them in harvesting wheat crop in less time with few labors. It also reduces the work of labors. It is affordable by the farmer as its cost is low. This machine could be operated by hand or by tractor. Keywords - wheat cutting machine, harvest,

All these traditional methods involve drudgery and consume long time. Mechanical harvesting equipment Timeliness of harvest is of prime importance. During harvesting season, often rains and Stones occur causing considerable damage to standing crops. Rapid harvest facilitates extra days for land preparation and earlier planting of the next crop. The use of machines can help to harvest at proper stage of crop maturity and reduce drudgery and operation time. Considering these, improved harvesting tools, equipment, combines are being accepted by the Fanners.

I. INTRODUCTION There are various designs of tools and equipment used for harvesting the crops and threshing it separately. Sickles, hand tools and reapers for grain crops and diggers for tuber crops and rhizomes, operated with different power sources are used. Combine harvesters, both tractor mounted and self-propelled, are being very widely used for different grain crops. Functional requirements and principles of working of tools and equipment for harvesting and threshing are given below: Harvesting Tools and Equipment Crops are harvested after nominal maturity with the objective to take out grain, straw, tubers etc. without much loss. It involves cutting / digging / picking, laying, gathering, curing, transport and stacking of the crop. In case of cereals like wheat and paddy the plants are straight and smooth and ears containing grains are at the top whereas most of oilseed and pulse crops have branches, which create problems' in harvesting by manual or mechanical means. As per Bureau of Indian Standards the cutting and conveying losses should not be more than 2 per cent. Traditional method of harvesting the harvesting of crops is traditionally done by manual methods. Harvesting of major cereals, pulse and oilseed crops are done by using sickle

II. OBJECTIVE OF PROJECT Develop a wheat cutting machine in such a way that Less cost of machine, It saves time of harvest ,Minimize cost of harvest ,Minimum worker required, Less work for harvest and Specially design to harvest for less area or land III. CONSTRUCTION OF WHEAT CUTTER It is a simple in construction. A trolley is design in such a way that width equal to chash of farm. It consist wheel for travel. In front edge of a trolley blade is attached to cut the wheat crop. Rotating part of machine push the wheat crops

towards blade in such a way that wheat through in trolley. A transition system is arranged which transmit power from wheel to rotating part for rotation of same. A rotating part is adjustable so it can set as height of wheat. At back an attachment provided so it is easily attach to tracker if we wish to use tractor for cutting. If someone want to operate manually that provision also is there. This machine specially designs to harvest for less area or land.

Specially design to harvest for less area or land V. CONCLUSION Generally 1 vigha land produced on an average 800 to 900 Kg. To harvest wheat crop. of 1 vigha land we have to give 100 Kg of wheat us compensation. So we have to pay high-price to these workers about 12.5% to 11.11% of final produced wheat. Our innovation eliminates this type of compensation. So it reduces cost of production. 5 workers take time to harvest wheat crop of 1 vigha is about 1 day [8 hrs] but our innovation takes only 1 hour this way it save time. Without this machine hard work necessary to collect harvested wheat crop. This way it minimize work required for harvest wheat crop. Cost of machine is very less and it could be operated by hand or by tractor. (These data are related to North Gujarat). FUTURE SCOPE For transmit power a power unit attach to this machine is reduce human efforts. REFERENCES
