A0ademi0 4is9onesty' 1cademic dishonesty consists of cheating$ plagiarism$ fa"rication$ deception$ and o"taining an unfair advantage !pecific e%amples include$ "ut are not limited to$ copying any other person2s wor& )e g $ paper$ 4ui5$ or test answers/ and using it as one2s own$ using someone else2s wor& as one2s own and not giving the author proper credit$ ma&ing up references$ lying a"out wor& completed6not completed$ o"taining prior assignments or e%ams This is not an e%haustive list$ merely some e%amples7 Cheating will not "e tolerated 1ll wor& is e%pected to "e the student2s original thoughts and ideas 1nyone suspected of academic dishonesty$ the cheater as well as those who assist the cheater$ will "e penali5ed accordingly 1ny student suspected of participating in academic dishonesty on an assignment will receive an automatic 809 for the assignment 1ny student suspected of participating in academic dishonesty on an e%am will receive an automatic 809 for
