Applicability: SUZUKI DL650 04-06 Components

CAUTION: CAREFULLY READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE STARTING THE INSTALLATION. 1. Turn off the motorbike. 2. Remove the saddle. 3. Remove the plastic side covers next to the tank and raise the tank. 4. Remove the air filter by disconnecting the sensors and the connected pipes (see Pict.1).

6. Connect the RAPID BIKE connectors to the original wiring and to the injectors. The red-striped ones must be connected to the front cylinder (see Pict.3).

8. Connect the tap-on-connector (Rapid Bike green cable) to the pink white-striped cable of the motorbike wiring, located in the centre (see Pict.5). Check with a voltammeter that the connection is correct.

CAUTION: carefully follow this step order. Any oversights could seriously damage the original control unit. 9. Disconnect the positive pole (red) of the battery and then disconnect the negative pole (black). 10. Connect the eyelet from the RAPID BIKE wiring to the negative pole (see pict.7). 11. Reconnect the positive pole.

___________________________ Final Section____________________________ 12. Connect the wiring to the RAPID BIKE. 13. Check the correct connection of all the connectors. 14. Fix the control unit to the motorbike by means of some strips, locating it in the glove compartment. 15. Place back all the parts. 16. Place back the saddle and the tank. ______________________ USB communication adapter ______________________

Caution: The following steps must be carried out when the engine is turned off. Any oversights could endanger the system functioning. 17. To communicate with the RAPID BIKE it is essential to install the software on a PC. 18. Connect the USB adapter contained in the kit to the connector coming out of the RAPID BIKE wiring and then to the PC (see pict.7). 19. Follow the instructions for the software use.
