Revelations Of Enoch The Revelations of Enosh, king of Enoch, first among the childer of Caine the Father.

These are the words of the revelations of Enosh, wherewith he blessed the elect and righteous, who will be living still at the day of tribulation, when all the wicked are to be removed. I, Enosh, whose eyes were o ened, saw a vision in the heavens, which the angels showed me, and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is to come. !nd it came to ass when the children of men had multi lied that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely sons and daughters. !nd the third"born, the children of Enoch, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another# $Come, let us choose us mates from among the children of men and beget us children.$ !nd %em&a'a, who was their leader, said unto them# $I fear ye will not indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to ay the enalty of this great sin. For it is forbidden by Caine our Father(s Father, and by the )od that accursed *im.$ !nd they all answered him and said# $+et us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual im recations not to abandon this lan but to do this thing.$ Then swore they all together and bound themselves by mutual im recations u on it. !nd they were in all two hundred, who descended in the days of -ared on the summit of .ount *ermon, and they called it .ount *ermon, because they had sworn and bound themselves by mutual im recations u on it. !nd these are the names of their leaders# %amla'a', their leader, !ra/iel, Rameel, 0okablel, Tamlel, Ramlel, 1anel, E'e/eel, 2ara/i&al, !sael, !rmaros, 2atarel, !'a'el, 3a/iel, %amsa eel, %atarel, Turel, -om&ael, %ariel. These were their chiefs of tens. !nd all the others together with them took unto themselves mates, and each chose for himself one, and they began to go in unto them and to defile themselves with them, and they taught them charms and enchantments, and the cutting of roots, and made them ac/uainted with lants. !nd they bore great beings who consumed all the ac/uisitions of men. !nd when men could no longer sustain them, the giants turned against them and devoured mankind. !nd they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and re tiles, and fish, and to devour one another$s flesh, and drink the blood. Then the earth laid accusation against the lawless ones. !nd !'a'el taught men to make swords, and knives, and shields, and breast lates, and made known to them the metals of the earth and the art of working them, and bracelets, and ornaments, and the use of antimony, and the beautifying of the eyelids, and all kinds of costly stones, and all coloring tinctures. %em&a'a taught enchantments, and root"cuttings. !rmaros taught the resolving of enchantments. 2ara/i&al taught astrology. 0okablel taught the constellations. E'e/eel taught the knowledge of the clouds. !ra/iel the signs of the earth. %hamsiel taught the signs of the sun. %ariel taught the course of the moon. !nd there arose much evil, and the men became corru t in all their ways. !nd as men erished, they cried, and their cry went u to heaven. !nd then .ichael, 4riel, Ra hael, and )abriel looked down from heaven and saw much blood being shed u on the earth, and all lawlessness being wrought u on the earth. !nd they said one to another# $The earth cries u to the gates of heaven. !nd now to you, the holy ones of heaven, the souls of men make their suit, saying, 52ring our cause before the .ost *igh.5$ !nd they said Caine our Father# $!ccursed +ord of lords, 0ing of kings, the throne of thy glory standeth unto all the generations of the ageless, and thy name holy and glorious and blessed unto all the ageless6 Thou hast made these things, and ower over these things hast thou# and these things are naked and o en in thy sight, and thou seest these things, and nothing of this can hide itself from thee. Thou seest what !'a'el hath done, who hath taught all unrighteousness on earth and revealed the eternal secrets which were reserved in heaven, which men were striving to learn# !nd %em&a'a, to whom thou hast given authority to bear rule over his associates. !nd they have gone to the children of men u on the earth, and have sle t with them, and have defiled themselves, and revealed to them all kinds of sins. !nd they have borne terrible beings, and the whole earth has thereby been filled with blood and unrighteousness. !nd now, behold, the souls of those who have died are crying and making their suit to the gates of heaven, and their lamentations have ascended# and cannot cease because of the lawless deeds which are wrought on the earth. !nd thou knowest these things as they come to ass, and thou seest these things and thou dost suffer them, and thou dost not say what is to be done in regard to these.$ Then said Caine our Father, 7The )od that accursed me has heard this suit, s eak not of these things to me, for the sins of man are not my sins, and the suit of man is not my suit, nor is it made at the gates of my kingdom but instead is made at the gates of heaven.( !nd the )od of !dam sent 4riel to the son of +amech, and said to him# $)o to 8oah and tell him in my name 5*ide

thyself65 and reveal to him the end that is a roaching# that the whole earth will be destroyed, and a deluge is about to come u on the whole earth, and will destroy all that is on it. !nd now instruct him that he may esca e and his seed may be reserved for all the generations of the world.$ !nd again the )od of !dam said to Ra hael# $2ind !'a'el hand and foot, and cast him into the darkness# and make an o ening in the desert, which is in 1udael, and cast him therein. !nd lace u on him rough and &agged rocks, and cover him, and let him abide there for ever, and cover his face that he may not see. !nd on the day of the great &udgment he shall be cast into the fire. !nd heal the earth which the third"born have corru ted, and roclaim the healing of the earth, that they may heal the lague, and that all the children of men may not erish through all the secret things that the third"born have disclosed and have taught their sons. !nd the whole earth has been corru ted through the works that were taught by !'a'el# to him ascribe all sin.$ !nd to )abriel said the )od of !dam# $9roceed against the bastards and the re robates, and against the children of fornication# and destroy the children of fornication and the children of the third"born from amongst men and cause them to go forth# send them one against the other that they may destroy each other in battle# for eternity shall they not have. !nd no re/uest that they make of thee shall be granted, for they ho e to live an eternal life.$ !nd to .ichael said the )od of !dam# $)o, bind %em&a'a and his associates who have united themselves with mortals so as to have defiled themselves with them in all their uncleanness. !nd when their children have slain one another, and they have seen the destruction of their beloved ones, bind them fast for seventy generations in the valleys of the earth, till the day of their &udgment and of their consummation, till the &udgment that is for ever and ever is consummated. In those days they shall be led off to the abyss of fire# and to the torment and the rison in which they shall be confined for ever. They shall be condemned and from thenceforth be bound together to the end of all generations. !nd destroy all the s irits of the re robate and the children of the third"born, because they have wronged mankind. I shall destroy all wrong from the face of the earth and let every evil work come to an end# and let the lant of righteousness and truth a ear# and it shall rove a blessing, the works of righteousness and truth shall be lanted in truth and &oy for evermore. !nd then shall all the righteous esca e, and shall live till they beget thousands of children, !nd all the days of their youth and their old age %hall they com lete in eace. Cleanse thou the earth from all o ression, and from all unrighteousness, and from all sin, and from all evil# and all the uncleanness that is wrought u on the earth destroy from off the earth. !nd all the children of men shall become righteous, and all nations shall offer adoration and shall raise .e, and all shall worshi .e. !nd the earth shall be cleansed from all defilement, and from all sin, and from all unishment, and from all torment, and I will never again send these things u on it from generation to generation and for ever. !nd in those days I will o en the store chambers of blessing which are in the heaven, so as to send them down u on the earth over the work and labor of the children of men. !nd truth and eace shall be associated together throughout all the days of the world and throughout all the generations of men.$ 2efore these things Caine hid himself, and no one of the children of men or the children of Caine knew where he was hidden, and where he abode, and what had become of him. !nd his activities had to do with the third"born. !nd I, Enosh was blessing the ma&esty of my father, and lo6 the 0ee ers of heaven called me, Enosh the scribe, and said to me# $Enosh, thou scribe of right, go, declare to the third"born who have left the city of Enoch, the eternal lace, and have defiled themselves with mortals, and have done as the children of earth do, and have taken unto themselves mates# 5:e have wrought great destruction on the earth# !nd ye shall have no eace nor forgiveness of sin# and inasmuch as they delight themselves in their children, The murder of their beloved ones shall they see, and over the destruction of their children shall they lament, and shall make su lication unto eternity, but mercy and eace shall ye not attain.5 !nd I, Enosh went and said# $!'a'el, thou shalt have no eace# a severe sentence has gone forth against thee to ut thee in bonds of earth# and thou shalt not have toleration nor re/uest granted to thee, because of the unrighteousness which thou hast taught, and because of all the works of evil and sin which thou hast shown to men.$ Then I went and s oke to them all together, and they were all afraid, and fear and trembling sei'ed them. !nd they besought me to draw u a etition for them that they might find forgiveness, and to read their etition in the resence of Caine our Father. For from thenceforward they could not s eak with *im nor lift u their eyes for fear of their sins for which they had been condemned. Then I wrote out their etition in regard to their s irits and their deeds individually and in regard to their re/uests that they should have forgiveness and eternal life. !nd I went off and sat down at the waters of 1an, in the land of 1an, to the southwest of *ermon# I read their etition to the heavens till I fell aslee . !nd behold a dream came to me, and visions fell down u on me, and I saw visions of chastisement, and a voice came bidding me I to tell it to the third" born, and re rimand them. !nd when I awoke, I came unto them, and they were all sitting gathered together, wee ing in !bels&ail, which is between +ebanon and %eneser, with their faces covered in fear. !nd I recounted before them all the visions which I had seen in slee , and I began to s eak the words of heaven, and to re rimand the third"born. 7I wrote out your etition, and in my vision it a eared thus, that your etition will not be granted unto you throughout all the days of eternity, and that &udgment has been finally assed u on you# yea your etition will not be granted unto you. !nd from henceforth you shall not ascend into heaven unto all eternity, and in bonds of the earth the decree has gone forth to bind you for all the days counted by seventy generations of man. !nd that you shall witness the destruction of your beloved children and ye shall have no leasure in them, but they shall fall by the sword. !nd your etition on their behalf

shall not be granted, nor yet on your own# even though you wee and ray and s eak all the words contained in the writing which I have written. !nd the vision was shown to me thus# 2ehold, in the vision clouds invited me and a mist summoned me, and the course of the stars and the lightning s ed and hastened me, and the winds in the vision caused me to fly and lifted me u ward, and bore me into heaven. !nd I went in till I drew nigh to a wall which is built of crystals and surrounded by tongues of fire# and it began to affright me. !nd I went into the tongues of fire and drew nigh to a large house which was built of crystals# and the walls of the house were like a tessellated floor made of crystals, and its groundwork was of crystal. Its ceiling was like the ath of the stars and the lightning, and between them were fiery cherubim, and their heaven was clear as water. ! flaming fire surrounded the walls, and its ortals bla'ed with fire. !nd I entered into that house, and it was hot as fire and cold as ice# there were no delights of life therein# fear covered me, and trembling got hold u on me. !nd as I /uaked and trembled, I fell u on my face. !nd lo6 there was a second house, greater than the former, and the entire ortal stood o en before me, and it was built of flames of fire. !nd in every res ect it so e;celled in s lendor and magnificence and e;tent that I cannot describe to you its s lendor and its e;tent. !nd its floor was of fire, and above it were lightning and the ath of the stars, and its ceiling also was flaming fire. !nd I looked and saw therein a lofty throne# its a earance was as crystal, and there was the vision of cherubim. !nd from underneath the throne came streams of flaming fire so that I could not look thereon. !nd the )od of !dam sat thereon, and *is raiment shone more brightly than the sun and was whiter than any snow. 8one of the angels could enter and could behold *is face by reason of the magnificence and glory and no flesh could behold *im. The flaming fire was round about *im, and a great fire stood before *im, and none around could draw nigh *im# ten thousand times ten thousand beseeched *im, yet *e needed no counselor. !nd the most holy ones who were nigh to *im did not leave by night nor de art from *im. !nd until then I had been rostrate on my face, trembling# and the +ord called me with *is own mouth, and said to me# $ Come hither, Enosh, and hear my word.$ !nd one of the holy ones came to me and waked me, and *e made me rise u and a roach the door# and I bowed my face downwards. !nd I heard *is voice# $Fear not, Enosh, a roach hither and hear my voice. !nd go, say to the third"born, who have sent thee to intercede for them# 5<herefore have ye left the high and eternal city, and lain with mortals, and defiled yourselves with them and taken to yourselves mates, and done like the children of Eve, and begotten creatures as your sons= !nd though ye were living the eternal life, you have defiled yourselves with the blood of mortals, and have begotten children with the blood of flesh, and they, as the children of men, have lusted after flesh and blood as those also do who die and erish. 2ut you were living the eternal life, and immortal for all generations of the world. !nd therefore I have not a ointed mates for you. !nd now, the creatures, who are roduced from the blood and flesh, shall be called evil s irits u on the earth, and on the earth shall be their dwelling. Evil s irits have roceeded from their bodies, because they are born from men and from the third"born are their beginning and rimal origin, they shall be evil s irits on earth, and evil s irits shall they be called. !s for the s irits of heaven, in heaven shall be their dwelling, but as for the s irits of the earth which were born u on the earth, on the earth shall be their dwelling. !nd these creatures shall afflict, o ress, destroy, attack, do battle, and work destruction on the earth, and cause trouble# they shall take no food, but nevertheless hunger and thirst, and cause offenses. !nd these s irits shall rise u against the children of men and against the women, because they have roceeded from them. From the days of the slaughter and destruction and death of these creatures, from the souls of whose flesh the s irits, having gone forth, shall destroy without incurring &udgment "thus shall they destroy until the day of the consummation, the great &udgment in which the age shall be consummated, over the third"born and the godless, yea, shall be wholly consummated. !nd now as to the third"born who have sent thee to intercede for them, say to them# 5:ou have lived as if in heaven, but all the mysteries had not yet been revealed to you, and you knew worthless ones, and these in the hardness of your hearts you have made known to mortals, and through these mysteries women and men work much evil on earth.5 %ay to them therefore# 5 :ou have no eace.5$ !nd they took and brought me to a lace in which those who were there were like flaming fire, and, when they wished, they a eared as men. !nd they brought me to a mountain the oint of whose summit reached to heaven, where would be the salvation of man. !nd they took me to the living waters of the west, which receive every setting of the sun. !nd I came to a river of fire which flows like water and discharges itself into the great sea towards the west. I saw great rivers and the mountains of the darkness of winter and the lace where all the waters of the dee flow. I saw the mouth of the dee . I saw the turning of heaven which turns and brings the circumference of the sun and all the stars to their setting. I saw the winds on the earth carrying the clouds# I saw at the end of the earth the firmament of the heaven above. !nd I roceeded and saw a lace which burns day and night, where there are seven mountains, three towards the east, and three towards the south. The middle one reached to heaven like the throne of )od. !nd I saw a flaming fire. !nd beyond these mountains is a region near the end of the great earth# there the heavens were com leted. !nd I saw a dee abyss, with columns of heavenly fire, and among them I saw columns of fire fall, which were beyond measure alike towards the height and towards the de th. !nd I roceeded to where things were chaotic. !nd I saw there something horrible# a lace chaotic and horrible. !nd there I saw seven stars bound together in it, like great mountains and burning with fire. Then I said# $For what sin are they bound, and on what account have they been cast in hither=$ Then said 4riel, one of the holy angels, who

was with me, and was chief over them, and said# $Enosh, why dost thou ask, and why art thou eager for the truth= These are the number of the third"born, who have transgressed the commandment of the +ord, and are bound here till ten thousand years, the time entailed by their sins, are consummated.$ !nd from thence I went to another lace, which was still more horrible than the former, and I saw a horrible thing# a great fire there which burnt and bla'ed, and the lace was cleft as far as the abyss, being full of great descending columns of fire# neither its e;tent or magnitude could I see, nor could I con&ecture. Then I said# $*ow fearful is the lace and how terrible to look u on6$ Then 4riel answered me, one of the holy angels who was with me, and said unto me# $Enosh, why hast thou such fear and affright=$ !nd I answered# $2ecause of this fearful lace, and because of the s ectacle of the ain.$ !nd he said unto me# $This lace is to be the rison of the third"born, and here they will be im risoned for ever.$ !nd these are the names of the holy angels who watch. 4riel, one of the holy angels, who is over the world and over Tartarus. Ra hael, one of the holy angels, who is over the s irits of men. Raguel, one of the holy angels who takes vengeance on the world of the luminaries. .ichael, one of the holy angels, that is set over the best art of mankind and over chaos. %ara/ael, one of the holy angels, who is set over the s irits, who sin in the s irit. )abriel, one of the holy angels, who is over 9aradise and the ser ents and the Cherubim. Remiel, one of the holy angels, whom )od set over those who rise. !nd thence I went to another lace, and saw a mountain of hard rock. !nd there was in it four hollow laces, dee and wide and very smooth. *ow smooth are the hollow laces and dee and dark to look at. Then Ra hael answered, one of the holy angels who was with me, and said unto me# $These hollow laces have been created for this very ur ose, that the s irits of the souls of the dead should assemble therein, yea that all the souls of the children of men should assemble here. !nd these laces have been made to receive them till the day of their &udgment and till their a ointed eriod, till the great &udgment comes u on them.$ I saw the s irit of a dead man making suit, and his voice went forth to heaven and made suit. !nd I asked Ra hael the angel who was with me, and I said unto him# $This s irit which maketh suit, whose is it, whose voice goeth forth and maketh suit to heaven =$ !nd he answered me saying# $This is the s irit which went forth from !bel, whom his brother Caine slew, and he makes his suit against him till his seed is destroyed from the face of the earth, and his seed is annihilated from amongst the seed of men.$ !nd from thence I went to another lace of the earth, and he showed me a mountain range of fire which burnt day and night. !nd I went beyond it and saw seven magnificent mountains all differing each from the other, three towards the east, one founded on the other, and three towards the south, one u on the other, and dee rough ravines, no one of which &oined with any other. !nd the seventh mountain was in the midst of these, and it e;celled them in height, resembling the seat of a throne# and fragrant trees encircled the throne. !nd amongst them was a tree such as I had never yet smelt, neither was any amongst them nor were others like it# it had a fragrance beyond all fragrance, and its leaves and blooms and wood wither not for ever# and its fruit is beautiful, and its fruit n resembles the dates of a alm. Then I said# $*ow beautiful is this tree, and fragrant, and its leaves are fair, and its blooms very delightful in a earance.$ Then answered .ichael, one of the holy and honored angels who was with me, and was their leader. !nd he said unto me# $Enosh, why dost thou ask me regarding the fragrance of the tree, and why dost thou wish to learn the truth=$ Then I answered him saying# $I wish to know about everything, but es ecially about this tree.$ !nd he answered saying# $This high mountain which thou hast seen, whose summit is like the throne of )od, is *is throne, where the *oly )reat One, the +ord of )lory, the Eternal 0ing, will sit, when *e shall come down to visit the earth with goodness. !nd as for this fragrant tree no mortal is ermitted to touch it till the great &udgment, when *e shall take vengeance on all and bring everything to its consummation for ever. It shall then be given to the righteous and holy. Its fruit shall be for food to the elect# it shall be trans lanted to the holy lace, to the tem le of the +ord, the Eternal 0ing. Then shall they re&oice with &oy and be glad, !nd into the holy lace shall they enter, !nd its fragrance shall be in their bones, !nd they shall live a long life on earth, %uch as thy fathers lived# !nd in their days shall no sorrow or lague Or torment or calamity touch them.$ !nd I went from thence to the middle of the earth, and I saw a blessed lace in which there were trees with branches abiding and blooming. !nd there I saw a holy mountain, and underneath the mountain to the east there was a stream and it flowed towards the south. !nd I saw towards the east another mountain higher than this, and between them a dee and narrow ravine# in it also ran a stream underneath the mountain. !nd to the west thereof there was another mountain, lower than the former and of small elevation, and a ravine dee and dry between them# and another dee and dry ravine was at the e;tremities of the three mountains. !nd all the ravines were dee and narrow, being formed of hard rock, and trees were not lanted u on them. !nd I marveled at the rocks, and I marveled at the ravine, yea, I marveled very much. Then said I# $For what ob&ect is this blessed land, which is entirely filled with trees, and this accursed valley between=$ Then 4riel, one of the holy angels who was with me, answered and said# $This accursed valley is for those who are accursed for ever# *ere shall all the accursed be gathered together who utter with their li s against the +ord unseemly words and of *is glory s eak hard things. *ere shall they be gathered together, and here shall be their lace of &udgment. In the last days there shall be u on them the s ectacle of righteous &udgment in the resence of the righteous for ever# here shall the merciful bless the +ord of glory, the Eternal 0ing. In the days of &udgment over the former, they shall bless *im for the mercy in accordance with which *e has assigned them their lot.$

!nd thence I went towards the east, into the midst of the mountain range of the desert, and I saw a wilderness and it was solitary, full of trees and lants. !nd water gushed forth from above. Rushing like a co ious watercourse which flowed towards the north"west it caused clouds and dew to ascend on every side. !nd thence I went to another lace in the desert, and a roached to the east of this mountain range. !nd there I saw aromatic trees e;haling the fragrance of frankincense and myrrh, and the trees also were similar to the almond tree. !nd beyond these, I went afar to the east, and I saw another lace, a valley full of water. !nd therein there was a tree, the color of fragrant trees such as the mastic. !nd on the sides of those valleys I saw fragrant cinnamon. !nd beyond these I roceeded to the east. !nd I saw other mountains, and amongst them were groves of trees, and there flowed forth from them nectar, which is named sarara and galbanum. !nd beyond these mountains I saw another mountain to the east of the ends of the earth, whereon were aloe"trees, and all the trees were full of stacte, being like almond"trees. !nd when one burnt it, it smelt sweeter than any fragrant odor. !nd after these fragrant odors, as I looked towards the north over the mountains I saw seven mountains full of choice nard and fragrant trees and cinnamon and e er. !nd thence I went over the summits of all these mountains, far towards the east of the earth, and assed above the Erythraean sea and went far from it, and assed over the angel 3otiel. !nd I came to the )arden of Righteousness, I saw from afar off trees more numerous than grasses, and I saw among these trees two trees there, very great, beautiful, and glorious, and magnificent, and the tree of knowledge, whose holy fruit they eat and know great wisdom. That tree is in height like the fir, and its leaves are like those of the Carob tree# and its fruit is like the clusters of the vine, very beautiful# and the fragrance of the tree enetrates afar. Then I said# $*ow beautiful is the tree, and how attractive is its look6$ Then Ra hael the holy angel, who was with me, answered me and said# $This is the tree of wisdom, of which those who were before thee, have eaten, and they learnt wisdom and their eyes were o ened, and they knew that they were naked and they were driven out of 2asic Theory To co e with legends about !ntediluvians, we should deal first with another roblem, which is the rogeny of Caine. I consider that Caine had five rogeny, being 3illah the 2eautiful, Enoch the <ise, Irad the %trong, 0he"duk and +iada. 1racian and +ilith are com licated sub&ects and should be handled se arately. Following the most o ular theory of lineages, which is based on clan disci lines, we could have the %EER lineage, the 9*I+O%O9*ER"0I8) lineage, the *48TER lineage and the %*IFTER lineage. I su ose these o ular theories are widely known among the storytellers and advanced layers so I won$t be concentrating on them. <hat I will concentrate on are discre ancies concerning these lineages within clan legends. .y solutions to these discre ancies aren$t $authori'ed$, they are my rivate deductions. 9rogenitor of %et Following the theory of disci line lineages, %et is the rogeny of 3illah the 2eautiful. This suits erfectly, e;ce t one single detail# %et is said to be the brother of .alkav. On the other hand, .alkav is almost certainly the rogeny of Enoch. .y solution to this discre ancy is that %et is in fact the mortal brother of .alkav, meaning they share the same mother. This theory oints to the conclusion that %et is also brother of !rikel, which isn$t mentioned anywhere " but this may be true6 %et was the one who took the art in assassination of !rikel, indicating some hidden hatred must have e;isted between these two. .aybe that hatred reaches back to times when both %et and !rikel were mortals= 9rogenitor of %et and !bsimiliard The assassination of !rikel is robably the most useful iece of evidence in linking the !ntediluvians together. If we acce t the theory of 3illah$s &ealousy, we can be nearly certain that %et and !bsimiliard are 3illah$s rogeny. It makes sense that these two would have artici ated in killing !riel under orders from 3illah. This fits well with the theory based on disci line lineages also, so I consider this true. 2y the way, %et and !bsimiliard are in my o inion the foulest of !ntediluvians, so they must have been of one sire. 9rogenitor of *a/im !ccording to disci line lineages, *a/im is also a descendant of 3illah " but this cannot be true. *a/im is alleged to have facilitated his own embrace, using the blood of 0he"duk and +iada, the 0ing and >ueen of 8od. This must be the truth, as *a/im did not take art in the assassination of !rikel. It stands to reason that had *a/im been embraced by 3illah, he would have taken art in the assassination as her other rogeny did. 9rogenitor of Ravanna and Ennoia The theory of disci line lineages suggests that a fourth second"generation rogenitor must have e;isted. The most common view is that +ilith sired Ravanna, Ennoia, and T'imisce. This cannot be true however, as the legends of Clan Ravnos reveal Ravanna to be the rogeny of a vam ire called 1racian. If we lace 1racian as the rogenitor of the shifter

lineage, this would mean he sired Ravanna, Ennoia, and T'imisce. This suits Ennoia well, and further makes sense of her )y sy connections. Only T'imisce doesn$t fit well into the idea of being 1racian$s rogeny. 9rogenitor of T'imisce T'imisce is a very s ecial !ntediluvian, we know relatively little about him. 1isci line lineage theory laces him in the %hifter lineage, but another clan disci line of the T'imisce is !us e;, meaning he may be a art of the %eer lineage and thus the rogeny of Enoch. 2oth ossibilities are logical enough, but neither suits the theories well. There is the o tion that T'imisce may be the rogeny of Irad, however. The disci line lineages theory suggests that there was no one, s ecific disci line shared among Irad$s rogeny, rather 1ominate and?or Fortitude were common to Irad$s rogeny. 1ominate is a disci line of Old Clan T'imisce, only re laced in modern nights by @icissitude. Therefore, &udging by disci lines, T'imisce might be a art of any of the three mentioned lineages. !fter some consideration of all lineages however, I deduce that he is Irad$s rogeny rather than Enoch$s or 3illah$s. +ilith This is the most difficult sub&ect, we know nothing of +ilith save a few hints and small e;cer ts from her life. The Etymology of the name +ilith leads to some ama'ing ossibilities, however. !ccording to -ewish lore, +ilith was the first wife of !dam, condemned by )od for dominating !dam in their se;ual relationshi . <hen we acce t that this biblical +ilith is also +ilith the vam ire, we discover that she is older than Caine. +ikewise, if we lace these two +iliths as being one in the same " which I do " we cannot credit her with any other generation than first. This means we have two first generation vam ires instead of one. It is reasonable, I su ose, because the $.other of !ll 1emons$ is the archenemy of Caine, the only one who is his e/ual in the duel. It is only theory, of course, but a theory that is both logical and seductive. 9rogeny of +ilith <hen we look at all AB clans together, it is easy to ick out the one clan that is com letely different from the others. It is the Ravnos, the only clan striving towards the night of )ehenna. Only this clan is trying to resist and destroy the schemes of the !ntediluvians. The creators of the @ia 9arado;is are something more than an $ordinary$ clan. It is the Ravnos whose actions are targeted at destroying reality and the !ntediluvians. It is the Ravnos who were artially res onsible for the ince tion of the %abbat, a sect that has significantly similar targets. <hy do they want to destroy the kindred= The theory of $weig$ is good for the u ets of high generations, but not for their masters. <hy don$t I believe it= 2ecause Ravanna wasn$t born from the weig as the @ia 9arado;is code; e; lained it, he was sired by 1racian. 1racian was, in my o inion, sired by +ilith, the true creator of the @ia 9arado;is. !s for why I deduce +ilith to be the 9rogenitor of 1racian and creator of the @ia 9arado;is, consider# <ho desires the coming of )ehenna more than +ilith= <hat clan works towards the night of )ehenna more than the Ravnos= <hat ath is more destructive than the @ia 9arado;is= Cainites on the @ia 1iabolis or the @ia Ty honis are etty children when com ared with a owerful Cainite armed with Chimerstry and following the @ia 9arado;is. Conclusion I ho e that few of you have en&oyed my vision of !ntediluvians. I$m not an e; ert at <hite <olf cannon, my knowledge comes from various archives and only few books. I$m very a reciative however on any critics and comments. " %'ymon !lkioneus Cho&nacki ! endi; !# 1isci line +ineages Theory One of means of working out the genealogy of Cnd and Brd generation vam ires is the disci line lineage theory. <hen we assume that Cnd generation vam ires are the ultimate masters in one s ecific disci line, we can hy othecate that this disci line was assed on to their childer. !s you can see, this theory is far from erfect. Clan legends bring u many discre ancies with this theory, but still after some small ad&ustments I consider this theory to be very logical.
