The 277-volt lluorescent and mercury lighting systems are becoming increasingly popular for pre-fab and light construction, especially for school, industrial and commercial buildings. The need for supplementary incandescent lighting in these systems can be met economically with Sylvania 277volt general service and reflector incandescent lamps. There is no need for step-down voltage transformers and additional wiring. Lamps are available for operation on high voltage Delta or Y Systems with voltage supply ol 48OY1277 or 460Y/265. When operated at 265 volts, output will drop about 12010, but lamp lrfe will increase to approximately 600/o more than when used a|277 volts.
