Guidelines for Students to Access Online Tests

The test you are about to sit is the BMBS AMK (Acquired Medical Knowledge) Test. Once you begin the test, you will have a total of 3 hours and 15 minutes to complete it. The test consists of 125 multiple choice, single best answer questions. You are presented with five possible choices and a dont know option. The questions are scored 1 point for a correct answer, minus of a point for an incorrect answer and zero points for a dont know answer. The questions in the test will be delivered to you in five blocks of 25 questions and questions will be randomised within these blocks, so the candidates sitting nearby will receive questions in a different order to you. Once you have completed a block of 25 questions and are happy with your answers, click the submit button to move onto the next block of questions and to complete the test after block five. Once you have submitted a block of 25 questions, you will not be able to return to this block to make any further changes. You will be able to change your answers within a block of 25 questions before you click the submit button. If you attempt to submit a block of 25 answers but have not answered all the questions in the block, you will be prompted to confirm you wish to submit your answers. PLEASE NOTE: Accidental kicking of the power socket and network connections located under the desk top can switch the computer off or interrupt the network link. If this happens, you could lose your work. Pressing of the keyboard back button or the Browser (fig 4 & 5.) back button, will send you out of the examination, with subsequent loss of work.
