Vision school is one of our government effort in creating a united nation of multicultural citizens.

Vision school is a place where all the students share some of the facilities of the school in one compound. For example, the students from Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina, Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Tamil, and Sekolah Kebangsaan will share the facilities such as the field, canteen, hall and etc. The vision of this program is to unite and expose the students to the multicultural diverse of our country, Malaysia. As a Malay saying says, melentur buluh biarlah dari rebungya. The rational of this program is it makes the students familiar with the differences of culture, norms and believe of the different races in Malaysia. Furthermore, this vision school will achieve its aspiration as it educate the students holistically. For example, this school not only focuses on academic aspects but also on the moral aspects as the students. Studying together in a same compound helps students to build good relationship between each other. This happens when they are having their recess time, physical education subject or any ceremonial that they celebrate together. Indirectly, this promotes unity and togetherness when they are working together. Besides that, this school also encourage the students to have respect towards each other as they cooperate together during the co-curricular activities. During sports week, all these schools will combine and their students will compete with each other. Thus, it nurture the moral value of determine and great self-esteem as well as the patriotism as they all share the same goal of unity. Apart from that, this program also foster the students to be tolerate and understanding such as during discussion in the activities they are accepting each other opinion and work together to find solutions. In conclusion, this vision school has several advantages and I personally think that it will achieved its aspiration of uniting the nation when all parties playing their role with full responsibility.
