Metal Enclosure OPERATION & MAINTENANCE MANUAL 1. Method of Replacing the Fluorescent Bulb of the In-door Lighting System
1a. The in-door lights as shown in normal working condition.
1b. Open the ten pieces of locking latches as shown.

1c. The locking latch as shown in open position.
1d. The in-door lights as shown with the cover removed.

1e. Twist the busted light bulb, making sure that the contact terminals are aligned with the holder slots. slots Then, gently pull the busted light bulb down.
1f. Carefully remove the busted bulb.

1g. Install the replacement bulb, then replace the cover afterwards. afterwards
1h. Close the latches by pushing it upwards and against the side of the base.

1i. Check if all ten latches are already closed; then check the cover for proper fit. fit

2a. The emergency lights shown in normal working condition.
2b. Check if the AC pilot light is on.
page 7

2c. Push the "TEST" button to test if the light bulb is working properly.
2d. Remove the plug from the power outlet to check if the emergency g y light g is operating p gp properly. p y

2e. To replace the 9W bulb, use a screwdriver to lift the cover of the lamp head.
2f. The cover is removed as shown.

2g. Gently pluck out the busted 9W bulb.
2h. The busted 9W bulb as shown.

2i. Replace the busted one with a new 9W bulb.
2j. Re-attach the lamp head cover, then push the "TEST" button to check if the replacement bulb is in good working condition.

3a. The external flood light shown located beside the single door.
3b. Remove the two (2) top screws to release the glass cover, let the cover swing outward but maintain steady supporting grip so as to prevent the cover from falling down.

3c. Remove the busted light and replace with a new bulb.
3d. Return the cover to upright position and tighten the screws.

4a. Remove the two (2) fixing screws as shown.
4b. Pull down the louver screen.

4c. Clean the screen using running water.
4d. After drying, return the louver screen.

4e. Re-attach the fixing screws.
4f. Tighten the screws.

5a. Remove the four (4) nuts as shown.
5b. Remove the exhaust duct screen.

5c. Clean the screen using running water.
5d. After drying, re-attach the exhaust duct screen and tighten g the nuts.

6a. Remove the four (4) screws as shown.
5b. Disconnect the exhaust fan wires from power supply wires. If the fan is defective, replace with a new one. If the fan is functional, clean the fan blades and support frame before re-attaching the fan to the wall frame.

7a. Smoke detector base (Potter SB-46) as shown.
7b. Photoelectric smoke detector (Poter PS-24) as shown.

7c. Twist off the smoke detector to release it from the base.
7d. After cleaning the smoke chamber, re-attach to it base. Install a new smoke detector if the p present one is already y defective.

4b. Pull down the louver screen.

4c. Clean the screen using running water.

4d. After drying, return the louver screen.
