Phonics

This week in phonics we are going to review basic phonic sounds at! an! am! st! ar! er! ch! and sh.and all words associated with them. "e will use $lashcards to drill these sounds and also to practice spelling the vocab. The students will play a game where they race to write words called out by the teacher that relate to these sounds. "e will leave the words on the board and use them to play splat! where the students will race to hit the correct word called out. "e are going to do a worksheet where the students see a picture o$ the vocabulary we have learned and $ill in the missing letters.

Writin ,ractice The writing practice this week will be in the $orm o$ worksheets where students will put into practice their improved writing skills by writing out the names o$ vocabulary we have covered.
