STEEL GRADE:
Ribbed, weldable, high strength SD Steel. Produced according to DIN 488

FORM - DIAMETER:
Straight bars. Diameter from 8 to 40mm with SD marking Coils. Bar diameter from 8 to 16mm with SD marking SIDENOR GROUP, the leading steel manufacturing company in Balkans, with approximately 50 years' experience in the production of steel products, produces the weldable high strength SD Reinforcing Steel, grade BSt500S, according to DIN 488. SD Concrete Reinforcing Steel is available in diameters of 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 25, 28, 32 and 40 mm, in straight bars of 12m and in bundles weighing approx. 2 tonnes.

LENGTH - TOLERANCE:
Length of straight bars: 12m or 14m with tolerance -0 /+100mm

SD Reinforcing Steel (BSt500S-DIN 488) is also available in standard coils in diameters of 8, 10, 12,14 and 16 mm, as well as in spooled coils in diameters of 8, 10 and 12 mm.

PACKING - WEIGHT:
Bundles of straight bars Weight: approximately 2.00MT per bundle Coils Weight: approximately 1.25-1.45MT per coil or spooled coils weight approximately 2.65MT per coil SIDENOR's SD Reinforcing Steel, grade BSt500S, has two longitudinal ribs and additional transverse ribs on two sides. On one side there is the mark indicating the production site (8/14 for the plant in Thessaloniki, Greece, 8/24 for SOVEL plant in Almyros, Greece, 9/44 for Stomana Plant in Pernik, Bulgaria and 9/34 for Dojran plant in Nicolic, FYROM). Moreover, SIDENOR's SD Steel bears the clear SD mark, for easier identification at all stages of its distribution, storage and use.
