Students look for examples of figurative language (similes, metaphors, and personification in !"ou#re a $ean %ne, $r& 'rinch&( )fter this is done students will *e divided into groups of three& The+ will *e given , minutes to come up with a wa+ to draw an example of figurative language from the *ook The Polar -xpress which the+ have *een doing activities with all week& Students take turns drawing their examples and the rest of the students guess what the figurative language from the *ook is and whether it is a simile, metaphor, or personification&
