Almost 2 years ago, a club was formed with a vision to unite all 4A-G

owners nationwide. The Club that led by a group of ambitious and

aggressive people that always seeks improvement to the Club.

4A-G is a model of engine of the TOYOTA carmaker, very well known for
its durability. Since the 80s, the 4A-GE engine has been one of the
most powerful machines installed in the model of AE86 (Levin) which is
still very popular in Japan as well as worldwide. With the 4A-G TVIS
engine technology in the 80s, development to more and more matured
machine has ever been produced. With the unique Supercharger
engine developed in the late 80s, and the 20 valves engine technology
in mid 90s with much improvement done to the latter 20 valves
Blacktop engine together with a ever special 6 speed transmission.

This car (Levin) is still one of the favorites for the sport car drifting in
Japan and cross the world because of its affordability and cheap
maintanenance, in addition to the substantial power output of the
engine.

Today, we are proud to bring the good news to our local 4A-G engine
fans that are a 4A-G Club has been formed locally.

In the beginning, the Club is only being promoted through friends and
the events held. Upon stabilizing the administration, the Club hopes to
gets as much publicity as possible in order to achieves its goal.

Most of the 70 odd members of the club own the Toyota Corolla and
use it as the base car. They spend between RM4, 000.00 to RM15,
000.00 to turn it into a super Corolla.However; a few who can afford it
do buy the real Levin.

4A-G Club has been organizing ample events for its members. There
are circuit event that mostly took place in Batu 3, Shah Alam and also
the demanding Sepang International Circuit. All circuit event aims to
brush up individuals driving skill, towards safety driving, share
learning, increase knowledge and most importantly reduce illegal road
racing. However, the circuit events will also helps to promote local
motorsports and increase competition.

Apart of circuit event, the Club also organizes outing for leisure
purpose. Besides event, members also benefit from sharing
information and experience with regards to the engine issue.

We also have channel manager at every area in Lembah Klang to easy

communication between a leader and a member or easy for new
member to get more detail about club or news.

Weekly event will be such as the ‘tea session’ at the common spot in
Taman Desa, Sri Neelas Curry House, Old Klang road. If you have any
information, problem, tips on your 4A-G engine, you will be able to
share with all the owners of the unique Toyota engine.

The 4A-G Club will also organize monthly event where the hot spot will
be confirmed in the first week of every month. You may check on their

The recent achievement was the registration of the Club, which pays
some results of the administration hard work. The next plan will be to
promote the Club as to obtain more publicity and more support from
the 4A-G owners nationwide.

With increasing Club activities, the administration hope to attract more

sponsorship as in today, such Motoring Club does play important roles
as advertising media. MOTUL Lubricants has been the earliest to
support the Club while in returns they could get promote their brand
and products.
