processing system within AIG, interacting with numerous Underwriting systems, Third Party Administrators (TPA), Reinsurance application, Check Disbursement and Reconciliation system, Regulatory application, Corporate Reporting System and many others. Lead the development and implementation of AIG/Lexington Division Third Party Administrators (TPA) automated Claims processing and fund reimbursement system. The system employs 3-tier architecture: Apache Web Server - WebSphere Application server Mainframe/DB2. The user groups include internal(AIG) and external (TPAs) users: TPA administrators, Claims Managers, and Executives. Conducted user requirements gathering using different elicitation techniques, including but not limited to, JAD, SME interviews, and contextual inquires. Performed user stories analysis, created use cases and diagrams. Produced Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS). Lead weekly status meetings with the stakeholders within AIG as well as negotiated different aspects of the project with the TPAs' business and technical teams. Managed change requests, conducted application presentations. Guided the technical team through all the phases of the project. Participated in writing Specifications Requirements document. The estimate savings from the application's implementation exceed $100K per TPA. Thus far, the process has been implemented for 25 TPAs.
Lead the projects of big and small scale enhancements to Policy Aggregate System (PAS). PAS allows upper business executives to exercise close control over claims payments for different lines of business. The users include Divisions presidents and Aggregate Management group. Developed productive relationships with different groups of stakeholders, built a successful team of Subject Matter Experts (SME). Lead or participated in all phases of SDLC.

The enhancements of the system resulted in estimated 10M savings for AIG.

Lead re-designing the legacy application of 1099 reporting of AIG's vendor payments to the IRS. Implemented the key requirement of integrating all of the external systems into the unified 1099 reporting process. Developed the universal reporting format across the systems. The new application allows electronic reporting to the IRS. Conducted stakeholders workshops, created the Functional Requirements Package, participated in resources allocation and management. As a result of implementation of the multi-system reporting process with the strict enforcement of the corresponding business rules, there has been continuous drop in errors and as a result, significant decrease in fines imposed by the IRS.

The estimate savings to the company is over $100K per reporting year.

Designed and implemented the automation of Reporting to ISO (Insurance Statistical Organization). Managed all phases of Currency Conversion project, allowing fluent flow of policy and financial information, originated by AIGs Canadian offices, throughout Underwriting and Claims environments. Lead the project for switching of the LMS external electronic communications to the PGPencrypted transmissions. Managed a team of programmers engaged in enhancement and maintenance of News Election Tabulation system. The system was funded my major networks ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, AP and Fox. The system objectives were collecting, posting, analyzing and distributing vote information prior, during and after various elections. Responsibilities included business and technical design, specification writing, coding testing and implementation of Batch and CICS (online) modules, work scheduling, team management, user interface, writing of documentation. Vector:Connexion is an EDI Banking Payment and Remittance delivery system installed in more than 60 major banks across US and abroad. Corporate customers transmit their payment files in EDI ANSI X12, customary or NACHA formats to their banks where they are translated, warehoused and released to the Banks ACH system or WIRE systems for payments using Vector:Connexion.
