Summary

A.

What leadership experiences were especially successful for the student this semester? As indicated in previous reflections/evaluations, Leicha is second to none in providing quality instructional leadership for teachers. She sets agendas and facilitates grade level and multi-grade level team meetings. Her technological skills are exemplary; of the numerous databases she's created are efficient tools that staff utilize to help with instructional planning to meet the specific student needs. Leicha has taken on new experiences this semester with a focus on developing skills to lead Social, Emotional, and Behavioral efforts in a school. She participates on the school PBIS team and is the administrative representative on our Grant Wood AEA led SEBT (challenging behavior team that supports systemic changes and improvements in high needs schools). Leicha also was an active porticipant in multiple hiring's and the development of our per-service activities. In terms of District leadership, Leicha has been asked to co'facilitate CRCSD Instructional Coach meetings while the coach facilitator is out on an extended leave. Mrs, Scranton has stepped in to serve as guest principal when I'm out ofthe building on several occasions,

B.

What leadership experiences failed to meet expectations for the student this semester? (none)

C.

What has been the main focus or topic of reflections and conversations with the student this semester?

This semester our conversations have focused on hiring practices (we interviewed and hired for numerous positions), staff evaluations including walk throughs, and enhancing academic rigor in our daily lessons and assessments. Common Core implementation and improving math instruction (more written expression in math)
have also been on the front burner.
