Schools / Art Institutes all over the world are invited to submit paintings of their students. Students from 4 to 18 years old can take part and will be divided into 3 categories: (4 8), (9 12) & (13 18) years. Each school must send at least 20 works. Paintings MUST be in A-3 size (420 x 297mm) either in horizontal or vertical format without framing. Each participant should send only one painting. Works should be in 2-dimensional and painting techniques are free. Awards for each age category: 10 Gold Prizes, 20 Silver Prizes, 30 Bronze Prizes, 100 Honorable Mentions, and 100 Certificates of Exhibition will be awarded. Outstanding schools will be selected to join the 2nd round on-site painting competition.
Festival paintings should arrive at the organizer on or before 31st December, 2013

2nd round on-site painting competition 1. Date: second half of 2014 (exact date to be announced later) 2. No participants under the age of 13 are allowed in the 2nd round. 3. Each school team should consist of 1 teacher and 3 students. 4. All student participants will create painting on-site about Hong Kong sceneries during their stay in Hong Kong. 5. Organizer will supply basic painting materials. Participants can also bring their own art materials they are familiar with. 6. On-site Painting Awards Grand Prize: Highest recognition for the most outstanding team at the on-site competition Individual awards: First, Second, Third Prize and 10 Certificates of Merit for outstanding students Participation Certificates: Participation Certificates will be issued to all participants of the on-site painting competition.
Remarks: st nd 1. All the works received in 1 round and 2 round, prize-winning or not, will not return to participants. Those works remain the property of the organizer which may use them for whatever purpose within its own activities. The organizer reserves the copyright. 2. The grant of the above mentioned rights shall not entail an obligation to pay compensation to the participant. 3. Each work should have only one author, collective works will not be accepted. 4. All the works submitted must not be published or exhibited before. 5. The jury is composed of international professionals in visual arts & design and experienced children art jurors. 6. The organizer reserves the right of final interpretation of any disputes arising from these rules and reserves the right to change the rules without prior notification. 7.
