TheAudioCodesMP104isa4portanaloggatewaywhichmaybeusedinUCServerinstallationstoprovideagateway
betweeninternal(SIP)phonecallsandtheoutsidephonenetwork(PSTN).Voicecommunicationsfromaninternalphonehave
theirLocalAreaNetwork(LAN)voiceoverIP(VOIP)signalsconvertedintotraditionalanalogvoicewhicharetransmittedover
thePSTN.

104.Therecommended(andeasier)approachistodownloadfilestotheunit.ThesefilesareprovidedbyAudioCodeswithone
replacementfileprovidedbyObjectworldCommunicationsCorp.toconfigurethegatewayforUCServer.Thesepagesare
downloadedtotheunitfromthewebpageasdescribedinsubsequentsections.

IngeneraltheprocedureoutlinedinSection3.1ofLTRT61402MP1xxFastTrackInstallationGuideVer4.21.pdfshouldbe
followed.
ThedefaultusernameandpasswordfortheMP104isadmin/admin.TheIPaddressandsubnetmaskoftheMP104mustbe
setsothatitiscompatiblewiththeLANattheinstallationsite.TheMP104mustbeallocatedanIPaddressthatdoesnot
change.TheabovestepwillassignitastaticIPaddress.AnalternatemethodistouseapseudostaticIPaddressbyenabling
DHCPontheMP104andmappingtheMACaddressofthegatewaytoanIPaddresswithintheDHCPserver.

keyfieldsinthefilespecifictoyourinstallationandthendownloadittothegatewayunit.
