Woodruff Church of God e-Edition Newsletter February 3, 2014

Pastors Notes: What great services we had Sunday!!! The presence of the Lord was so strong Sunday morning and the Holy Ghost kept telling us over and over again how much He loved us. For some, He kept inviting them to come to Him. Now sometimes we try and determine the success of a service by how many come to the altar or how many raise their hands in answer to our questions. Yet, I found out Sunday that many people are still thinking and contemplating long after the service is over. I had 2 Facebook messages and 1 text message telling me that they thought the Lord was talking to them and they wanted an opportunity to talk about it. I LOVE IT!!!!! You go God!!!!! This is what we have been praying for and longing for. A time when the Lord speaks to people and we have opportunity to sit and talk about it. Too many times, people have had an emotional experience but walked out the door not truly changed. When a person is willing to walk out the door and want to know more, THEY GOT SOMETHING or they are about to GET SOMETHING!!!! Glory to God! What I saw Sunday looks like the beginning pieces of REVIVAL! A move of God that causes weeping in the congregation. A move of God that gives place for the moving of the Holy Ghost. A move of God that brings people to the altar. A move of God that is ministered to by the preached Word as it was Sunday night. A move of God that breaks the spirit of defeat and gives us a spirit of victory. A move of God that causes every hand in the building to be uplifted towards heaven in true worship to Him. I am so excited.I am so hungry..I am ready for all that God has in store for us. Are you ready to continue to push with prayer and fasting? God will certainly reward the efforts of His people. Get read y, Woodruff Church of God.this is the YEAR OF POSSIBILITIES!

If not, prayerfully consider what the Lord would have you give and be prepared to give that in the offering that day. I have never been more convinced that what we are doing is making a difference. Last Thursday, I was told that because of our support of Western Honduras, it is now #1 in all the territories for how they support and care for their pastors & churches. The National Overseer said it was a direct result of the PRIMO relationship between that territory and our church. GLORY TO GOD!!!!! This overseer had told me personally that the Western Territory has always been one of the more poor territories and also the most neglected. BUT WE ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE!!!! Thank you for what you have already done in the past and thank you for what you will do in the future.
