1.1 Prerequisites
The following customizing is required to launch the IBase maintenance view in the WebUI.

1.1.1 Activate IBase Work Centre

This needs to be defined for your profile, in our case it was for profile Z_BCC_IC_NAV_PROFILE, and

1.2 Steps to be executed for Set Types to appear in CRM WebClient


1.2.1 Definition of Attributes & Set Types
Create Attributes and assign Attributes to Set Type using Transaction COMM_ATTRSET.
As can be seen below in this example, the Attributes created were Car Park or Street; Machine
Status and Parking Legacy ID, which were then assigned to the Set Type Parking Machine
Information.

1.2.2 Assignment of the Set Types to the Category


Assign the Set Type to the relevant Category using COMM_HIERARCHY.
As can be seen below in this example, the Set Type Parking Machine Information, has been
assigned to the Product Category Z005 Parking Machines

1.2.3 Set Type Assignment to the Overview Page


Assign the Set Type to the Overview Page using Transaction CRMM_UIU_PROD_GEN
It is important to note that the Enhancement Set only exists for customer systems, which you will need
a Developer to create, if it does not already exist. Please also ensure to generate the Set Type for the
correct enhancement of the client in which you want to see the Set Type.

Note that the Repository.xml of the Overview Pages will be adapted for all Set Types. Additionally, the
component PRDGENSET will be adapted for Multi Value Set Types.

1.2.4 Configure Set Type as visible Assignment Block in the OVP


In order to integrate the Set Type Assignment Blocks into the list of Displayed Assignment Blocks,
you have to navigate into the Overview Page of the application where you want to display the Set
Type. Use transaction BSP_WD_CMPWB, and create / select the correct Component and
Enhancement Set.

Create a New Configuration or Select Configuration (if you have an existing one you created
previously) and then assign the relevant Assignment Block/s. Note that when you view the Technical
Details, you will see the Z* Component you created previously.

In this example, we used the Application Objects, however, other Applications and Overview Pages
may be as follows:

1.2.5 UI Configuration Creation & Adaption (optional)


Transaction CRMM_UIU_PROD_CONFIG generates automatically a new View Configuration Variant
for the corresponding view depending of the Set Type kind. The Set Type kind will be determined and
the configuration variant will be generated.

To go to the UI Configuration, use Transaction BSP_WD_CMPWB, and select Component


PRDGENSET.

Select view PRDGENSET/SLSeteOV and create new configuration or select an existing


configuration if you have already created a configuration and adapt it, if required.

1.2.6 Set Types appear in IBase Maintenance in the SAP CRM WebClient
Select Objects from the Navigation Bar and then search for a relevant Object Family, in this case
Parking Machines and Object ID PK00001.

You will notice that the Set Type which was renamed to Additional Data using the UI Configuration
and is now visible and the Attributes are maintainable.
