RF Optimizations: Benefits
Band steering
Automatically directs faster 802.11na clients to 5GHz spectrum Both radios use 5GHz spectrum to optimize 802.11n performance
Benefits
Improved noise immunity Fewer sources of interference Increased channel availability Higher utilization of 40MHz channels
Transmitter assumes a reciprocal channel Transmitter calculates the steering matrix based on training symbols Reduced transmission overhead versus implicit beamforming Delivers performance improvements without client support
By clicking Yes, I acknowledge that I have obtained all the legal rights necessary to update all of the MSM controllers configured in this group to a newer version of software, and am in compliance with the terms of the End User License Agreement. If any of these MSM controllers may not be lawfully updated, please click No to exit this configuration, and no update will be performed.
Show Tech
The purpose of the show tech command is to gather data that helps the support engineer to troubleshoot customer issues and to prepare an escalation using a single command:
The data will be displayed on the console or saved in an unencrypted file and since the data is visible to anybody with access to the device, only status and configuration information is included

The MSM317 switch ports already have the required configuration parameters for LLDP MED auto deployment; each port has its own LAN, Layer 2 and Layer 3 QoS and PoE settings. However, to implement auto deployment an extra layer is required between MED and the switch ports. To send the Network Policy TLV, the Application type (Table 5) must be configured first. The 5400zl switch series tie the application type to a VLAN (Voice VLAN for example) and send the network policy TLV on each tagged or untagged port to that VLAN. The MSM317 switch ports can be tagged to any VLAN (no restricted to a Network profile). Therefore, either the port should be tied to an application type or application type profiles can be preconfigured with QoS and VLAN information. The advantage of using an application type profile is that it brings consistency when configuring several devices.

PayPal
Pal offers a service which allows its members to send and receive money without sharing any financial information. The integration of this service with the MSM devices will expand the options of HPs customers to offer paid wireless subscription services. At this time, HP offers integration with Authorize.net and WorldPay, but there are some limitations with their services. PayPal would offer a good solution to some of them e.g. merchants geographical location.
