Math Mats
The following pages are mats that can be used for the math tub games as well as for sorting & classifying in your science station. They can also be used in small group remediation to make number sense activities more fun.
Insect subtraction
Take an ant card and look at the number. Place that many bugs on the bug jar math mat. Then take a bee card and subtract the number of bugs on the bee card from the bug jar. Fill out the recording sheet. Continue picking an ant card and then subtracting the bee card number until the recording sheet is full.
