SUMMARY OF TEST PROGRAM

Summary of test program

Overview

For project 12CA64992 10 grid connected photovoltaic inverters were provided for specific tests according to IEC/EN 62109-1 and IEC/EN 62109-2. The test program was designed to test various properties which could have an impact to safety and performance. For each inverter a report with the extended project number from 1 10 is provided where each report is covering one of the provided inverters.

Test result summary The following table is a summary of all performed tests with an indicator of the impact of the test result. Green indicates a pass of the standard requirement yellow indicates that the standard requirement is not fulfilled but considered as a minor issue where red indicates a non-conformity with a major impact to safety. Due to the damage of the first delivered sample during normal operation some tests were repeated with a new provided sample of same type. The objective of the DC injection current test is to validate if the manufacturer has specified the correct type of the Residual Current protective Device (RCD) (type A or B) in his documentation. The RCD is required for additional protection against electric shock or protection for fire hazard in the installation. The DC-part of the current was measured in the output wires of the inverters. Agreed with client a value above 6 mA dc is judged as fail.
