CONCLUSION

Base on the study we made, we therefore conclude that developing reading comprehension techniques is one of the two basic ways of improving reading skills and developing reading speed. However, rapid reading is valueless unless what is read is understood. Thus, comprehension is the vital factor in efficient reading. The decoding of the written word is a very important aspect of the reading act. Without being able to decode the written word, reading comprehension is impossible. This explains why some children can read without understanding what they are reading. Reading comprehension is a complex cognitive process. It cannot be analyzed without a definite description of the vocabulary development and vocabulary instruction role in the understanding of the text. Besides, comprehension is an active process and thus, it requires a thoughtful interplay between the reader and the text. Also, the teachers preparation is aimed at developing reading comprehension strategies that is connected to pupils' achievements. Many students dont realize how important it is to be able to fully comprehend what you read. Being able to completely and accurately comprehend what you read is essential to your ability to learn, perform well on tests and ultimately succeed in school and in a career. Anyone who desires to acquire effective study techniques would do well to improve his reading comprehension skills.
