INTRODUCTION

Nowadays, with the development of technology, traveling becomes an easy thing. More and more people love travel. Especially New Zealand, a nature country, its nature scenery attract many tourists. Unfamiliar to New Zealand is a big problem to travelers. Search Around is a high-tech product which can solve this problem. It not only can provide tourism resources, also can view visitors reviews about these resources.

To provide comprehensive, reliable and accurate tourism information of New Zealand. Let tourists never feel lost in New Zealand.

Its supplier power is high as this industry can choose many suppliers can choose. For example,

this industry should show the location of shops accurately and provide customers how to go there. They need GPS supplier. In New Zealand there are many GPS company, like, Navman GPS, Armada GPS and many other GPS

companies can be chosen.

Low

It is not easy to enter this market, the cost of input is expensive. Firstly need to set up a website, in a website called executionists (2013) provided to set up a small business website need spend about as much as $20,000 or more. Then should need to find information, the information should be as much as possible, or cannot attract people to use it. To enter this market need enough money and time.

Threat of substitutes:

The threat of substitutes is high as there are many alternatives such as map, guide and many travel books. And also can ask friends to get information.

Although there are many substitutes in this market, the cost to set up electronic one is expensive, there are not many competitors in this industry.

Overall attractiveness of the industry: General speaking, this industry is attractive. Because its supplier power is low and also rivalry among existing competitors is low, it makes this industry profitable and sustainable.

A traveler Eart (2013) wrote on his blog that the first few days of his travel, he felt lost. He could not understand the local language, did not know what food to try, where to visit even did not know which information to trust. Many tourists like Eart, when come to a new place they will feel lost. Even some interesting place near them, they still do not know. Our customers are almost visitor who unfamiliar New Zealand. These kind of visitors easily feel lost. Their needs are easily get reliable and accurate information. Marcus McShane (2013) indicated that same shops in New Zealand may treat tourists. This is the customers do not want to have this kind of experiences. And the people who put their shops on Search Around are also our customers, their needs are let more people know their shops.

Before our customers come to New Zealand they can use our product to check what the most popular places are worth to go and their locations so that they can make a plan first to avoid wasting time and money on missing ways. When our customers in New Zealand and do not want to go far away, they can use our product to search interesting places or restaurants or any place of life service around them and check these places reviews to make sure their confidence level to avoid being swindled. When they finish visiting a place can give a mark and wrote own thought to make the information more precision and oneness.

Supplier 1: GPS Company Search Around need to show visitor their exact location so that can tell them what place is around then and how to get these place. So we need a GPS to support our location service. Supplier 2: IT service Company Search Around is a software. So we need an IT service company to help us set a website and also set an app so that any person who has smart phone can use our product easily. Partner 1: Taxi Company

If our customers lost their way when they are looking for a place, they can use Search Around to call Taxi directly the Taxi can know where our they are and go to pick them up as soon as possible. We should partner with them as we need to make our customers never feel lost and helpless. Partner 2: Travel Agencies Search Around needs lots of travel agencies to provide tourist resorts and useful plans for traveling. It is help our customers who want to travel to here can have a reference and make their plans wealthier. Also each information provided from agencies will sign their name. When our customers are interest in these travel agencies can connect with them directly and maybe will join their groups.
3.6 Strategy: Cost Leadership

It is board market as not only tourist can use Search Around, NZers who not familiar the place where they are or want to know the latest play places also can use our product. And our product contain almost all the tourism information in New Zealand. It is low cost as our product is not make profit from customers, it is from some electronic advertisements and our partners. So it is free for our customers using. The overall strategy is therefore Cost Leadership.

The most important value chain activity for this business is Service after the sale Search Around is a high-tech product which provide latest information and accurate location. It is very important for our product to development technology to catch up New Zealands develop. If somewhere built an interesting place, we should add this place immediately. And to develop more product to make our customers use it broadly in their lives.

3.8.1. PRODUCT UPDATE PROCESS - New Zealand changed a little bit quickly these years.

Many shops open and also many shops down in every month. If our staff who find new places are worth for visitors visiting, they will notice IT company to add these places in our software. We also need out data person to check reviews on time. If see any reviews about complaining shops closed down, our data staffs will check its realness and delete these kind of shops directly. This process keeps our information is latest and realness just like our vision, provide all the tourism information of New Zealand and never let visitors feel lost.

This system will help us to classify all the

feedbacks into different parts and determine which are useful which are not. And then gather all the useful feedbacks. This system can save time to collate customers feedback s and then work with product improvement system to improve our product.

This system will base on customer feedback to

modify our insufficient parts and also create more satisfactory functions for customers using. It can keep good relationship with customers.
3.10.3. INFORMATION UPDATE SYSTEM This system will base on customer feedbacks to

assess reliability of the information in our product. When we find some complains about shop closed down, our stuff will go to survey the truth of that and then decide whether to delete this kind of information. This system also record new and also satisfactory places for visitors. This system can let our customers get reliable and accurate information, they will never feel lost in New Zealand.
