INTRODUCTION

Supermarkets are concerned about the freshness of their produce and display only the freshest items, because consumers complain about the freshness of the produce. This leads supermarkets to throw away perfectly edible food that close to the expired date as rubbish.( JOLYON,2008) Our business could use these food to help the poverty with food bank and reduce the waste of supermarket. We could deliver the products before the expiry date from supermarkets by using technical barcode scanner, then contact customers and food bank to sell to them and help the people who couldnt afford the food.
3.BUSINESS SECTION 3.1 Vision

To reduce the waste of expired food of all supermarkets around the world and help all of poor people who cannot afford the food.
3.2 Industry Analysis: Selling and Delivery industry

Justification: The customers have many choices to cooperate with delivery companies. The suppliers (supermarkets) could also choose vary shipping companies to deliver their food.(fast way, 2013)

There are many vehicle- companies in NZ; we could purchase the vehicles lower price compared with the other

competitor. (vehicle z, 2013) The threat of new entrants is high as the capital requirements of entering the delivery industry are low. Our business is focused on the delivery service, this is unique industry in the world. The substitutes of delivery industry do not exist. Rivalry among existing competitors is high because there are more and more delivery companies enter this industry that makes it difficult to be noticed over the competition,

Overall attractiveness of the industry: The overall attractive power of the industry is high. Even though there is fierce competition within the industry, the motivation of run the business from little input of capital is enough to advise that entering the industry could be worthwhile. 3.3 Customers and Their Needs The target group of customers are secondary processing factory; without these fundamental customers, we also provide the food as a lower price to some homeless people. The majority of our products are fruit, vegetable, and other nearly expired food. The main function of secondary processing factory is using these original food materials to reprocess into another food form such as can food and feeds for poultry and livestock. (NXFMA,2013) Therefore, the factory needs original food materials as a low price, the lower price could reduce the cost of production and increase the benefit of their sales.
3.4 The Product and Service

The products for our organization will definitely the nearly expired food. When we purchase the food from supermarkets, we classify these foods into different segments such as meat, milk, vegetable and fruits, then we contact different secondary processing factory that could make different forms of products. The products provided as a lower price than other

competitor, that is a good strategy for our business. We also provide the delivery service to deliver the products from suppliers to our business and to customers as well.
3.5 Suppliers and Partners

In order to acquire accurate expiry date of every product in supermarkets, we will need access to a supplier who provides the specific barcode which record the products expired date and corresponding scanner that can upload the date information to our businesss database. Moreover, supermarkets are also important suppliers for our business, because the most important segment of process is deliver the nearly expired date food from supermarkets, the basic food source will be provided by supermarkets. For example, every year Countdown and New World throw away lots of expired food as rubbish, they also need to reduce the cost of disposing these products.(New World, 2013)Therefore, the supermarkets are our central suppliers to provide the products to us. Food bank and charitable organization are significant for our organization as well. For purpose of helping the poverty, we need platforms to distribute the food to them. Without the charitable organization the food could not be most used and helps people, so a partnership with the charitable organization is a good way to build both organizations reputation. It also is a good way to set up the prestige in the society. ( Sophie Rishworth, 2011)
3.6 Strategy: Cost Leadership

The strategy for our organization is cost leadership. In the selling and delivery industry, we can provide the delivery service to deliver the nearly expired products from supermarkets, and there are lots of supermarkets faced disposing the expired food. Therefore, our organization will be available to a broad market. For the cost strategy, our organization focus on selling products to customers as a lower price compared than other competitors, customers will be happy to collaborate with a company who could provide lower price. Consequently, the strategy that we will adopt is cost leadership.
3.7 Value Chain Activity: Market and sell the product

The most important value chain activity for this business is Market and sell the product

Our business focuses on to make the best use of the nearly expired food to help the poverty and used to produce other secondary products. Therefore the department of marketing and selling the products plays the most crucial role in our organization. Moreover, our organization needs to sell these products to different customers as well as relief the poverty as lower price together with food bank. For these reasons, the most important VCA is market and sell the product.
3.8.1. EXPIRY DATE CHECKING PROCESS This process is important to the

organisation.Because our organisation is focus on dealing with the expired date food, the core process is checking the expiry date of products from supermarkets. In order to know whether the foods are nearly expired date, it can update different information into databaseand then formulate the accurate delivery date. Since we focus on the technology department, we want the system to be as accurate as possible; otherwise, it will be not ensured that the products could be better used within the expired date period.

because it is directly linked to our focus which is selling the products and deliver products to customers.Our staffs will check the amount of products and anlysis the order provided by customers, ensure the products meeting the needs of customers.When we focus on providing liberal and high quality than other expired food to food bank and twice processing factory such as feed mills, we could increase our business goodwill and be better used these products to increase the benefit from customers.

This system will classify and record the expiry date of the products and upload to our business database. The system will save the business time and workload to classify the different products expiry date; therefore the delivery information could be more accurate and ensure the products are within expiry date that will increase the happiness of suppliers and maintain good relationships with suppliers.

3.10.2. SALES AND DISTRIBUTI ON SYSTEM

Sales and distribution system focus on accepting the order of customers and check whether the products match the meet of customers. This system could reduce the time of distribution and make sure the inventory delivered to the customers on time. In order to maintain a good relationship with customers, we need to distribute the products to meet the needs of customers order exactly.

This system makes the transaction to support the relation between business and their customers and suppliers. It will automate the process and make a record of the order and inventory situation. It will save the business time of managing the inventory distribution and analysis customers orders. Furthermore, this system make the whole business process efficiently and rapidly.

CONCLUSION

The big waste of food is increasing every year and its time to value these foods and make a difference. To reduce the waste of expired food from supermarkets, our business focuses on using these resources to help the poverty and making the most use of the nearly expired food. Our business could generate growth through improving customers satisfaction and creating competitive advantage.
