Business Rules IT Literacy Website A. Introduction The College of Home Economics Library is seeking a proposal to develop a website that will provide basic and intermediate computer skills to the staff of the library. This website should also encourage the employees to utilize the new and emerging technologies for two main purposes: 1.) for the betterment of the College of Home Economics Library as a whole and 2.) for personal development. The website should include the following content: Computer operation and concepts. Tutorials on how to use word processors, graphics and multimedia to express ideas and communicate with others. Tutorials on how to use the Internet, email, spreadsheets and databases to locate, access, evaluate, retrieve and store information as well as to express ideas and communicate with others. Activities and exercises that will serve as evaluation tools of what the staff have learned. A fully functional website is the expected deliverable and the project must be completed on March 22, 2014. B. Scope of Database Schema The scope is for an employee to take a lesson and pass it.

C. Things of Interests Employees Lessons Grades D. These things of interests are related as follow: An EMPLOYEE can only be associated with one blog link and one email address. An EMPLOYEE can take one LESSON at a time. An EMPLOYEE can take the next LESSON if his/her GRADE in the previous LESSON is a passing one. The maximum GRADE an EMPLOYEE could get for a LESSON is 100. The lowest GRADE an EMPLOYEE could get for a LESSON is 0. A GRADE is considered passing if it is 60 and above.
