Summary
Favorites versus Shortcuts in SAP logon.
Favorites: - A self-compiled list of your personal favorites (most used SAP systems). - The list contains copies of the defined SAP logon entries. - When logging into a system you are already logged in to, a pop-up window will appear asking you to terminate this logon attempt or continue and end the already open session(s).

Shortcuts: - A list of self-created shortcuts, you can enter user and transaction information into your shortcuts. - When you are already logged into the system you do not need to enter your username and password again (Reuse Connections When Launching Shortcuts). - Entering transaction and SAP username information in a shortcut allows instant access to the corresponding transaction. - You can drag your shortcuts from SAP logon Shortcuts onto your desktop to create a desktop icon which provides instant logon to SAP. - When dragging a SAP logon shortcut onto your desktop, the icon of your mouse pointer changes ( ), indicating drag and drop is not allowed. It works anyway.
