Human Resources Director: September 07-Present
• Implement all Human Resource functions for 4 operating areas (Charlotte, Gastonia,
Morganton and Salisbury)
• Utilize On Target System tracking system (HRIS) to maintain employee records
• Work directly under and maintain constant communication with CEO and COO
• Spearheaded internal job postings; recruit, screen and conduct interviews and salary
negotiations
• Supervise Data Entry/Office Assistant Personnel
• Responsible for recruitment, applicant screening (background checks), setting
employee hourly wages
• Reorganize and structure the personnel filing system for 150 plus employees
• Enforce and create policies and procedures throughout the entire company
• Organized and implemented new communication system via email
• Organize on-going trainings and facilitate new employee 3 day orientation
• Create and Revise Human Resources forms to ensure company uniformity
• Consistent team player in Executive and Manager meeting’s
• Coordinate with Financial Director to ensure consistency and update information in
systems
• Strategically carry out disciplinary action and internal investigations; provide employee
counseling, and develop Performance Improvement Plans when necessary
• Primary source in providing pertinent information to Area Directors and Managers
• Offer and provide assistance in other areas outside of Human Resources
• Monitor and comply with Employment Security Commission and participated in
hearings when necessary
• Responsible for informing and maintaining information in regards to employee benefits
• Inform Directors and Manager of existing and new labor laws
• Conscious of company budget and cost effectiveness not limited to trainings, materials
etc.
• Ensure 90 day and annual evaluations and surveys are implements for all active
employees
